Extra's: The best extra was the inclusion of a 9.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It only had the last three gals (Olivia, Havana, and Jasmine) in the footage for some reason but it still had some value as an extra. There was also a cum shot loop, a photogallery, some trailers, and a double sided DVD cover for those keeping track.

Audio/Video Quality: Spanish Harlem was presented in the original 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Dawayne Dane for Third Degree. It had some okay lighting, minimal grain, and no video noise to speak of in this decent presentation of visual aspects. The composition of the shots looked to be left up to videographer Chris Streams and it wasn't bad although he zoomed in on flaws a few too many times for my liking. That said, a bit more polishing up on the technical matters would've gone a fair way to improving the look of the show. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo but had little to recommend given the lack of separation between the channels and limited dynamic range. The music wasn't a big factor once the scenes started but it was otherwise standard.

Body of Review: I've always believed that there was plenty of porn for just about every legal niche if you look hard enough. It doesn't matter whether you like BDSM, fat gals, teenagers, lesbian, orgies, or just about anything else that will cause people to fork over money to get off. Today's review of Spanish Harlem is a case in point; it caters to those who like black men screwing Latina women, including anal in every scene. Given the quality of at least two of the performers, that advertised content was pretty well handled so here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Chanel Chavez, an attractive gal with dark reddish hair and some nice curves, was up first in a scene with Jean Claude Batiste. She gave a short interview before masturbating and teasing the camera, wearing a red and white outfit that hugged her curves nicely. She did have some unsightly blemishes but her ability to suck a cock and take a dick in her pussy was pretty good. She was more dependent on his doing the work in the anal portion of the scene but I could see why so many men appreciate her skills given the mannerisms she displayed in this scene. There was a fair bit of taste testing but the emphasis of the scene was always on her being his little fuck toy so don't look for more than that and you'll be appreciative. The pop shot was small and dribbled out but that wasn't her fault and she sucked him clean afterwards.

Scene Two: Luscious Lopez, a Latina with large DSL's and a chunky ass to match, was up next in a scene with Maxx Black. They followed the formula on a strict basis, never straying too far from the established parameters, but her enthusiasm was a bit higher than I thought it would be given a few of her previous performances. Her strength lied not in the oral since giving head wasn't her best function but in the way she rode him in his lap. She also did the usual taste testing but I was much more interested in watching her ride this stallion, especially vaginally. If you like the curved beak type of nose, she'll come across as a younger version of Cher without the plastic (and of course the bigger, better, ass). Fans of dirty talk might also be glad to hear that she talked a lot as he planked her from behind. His load was another in need of less work (working too much means you have less semen to dispense) but she played with it and seemed to swallow at the end.

Scene Three: Olivia O'Lovely, a personal favorite Latina of mine, was up next as she teased in the small room beside the black couch before having LT join her. Her ass has added some mass in the last few years but rather than complain about it, I thought it was looking great to play with. Her scar seemed more prominent than usual on her abdomen but she showed that fleshy gals could come across as hot too here. At one point, I thought the director was going to ditch the concept and start in on her himself but even her playfulness with the toys wasn't quite enough to push him past his own preset limit. In any case, LT gave her a great workout and I thought the two of them looked and performed great together; showcasing her splendid oral skills, her fine riding ability in the pussy, and even a good bucking in her ass to please the home audience. For me, this was the highlight of an otherwise mediocre DVD but the way she was grinding her ass into his dick had some serious replay value.

Scene Four: Havana Ginger, the only black Latina of the bunch, had some junk in her trunk and overdone implants with huge nipples on display. I've never been a fan of flabby ass cheeks and large nipples so outside of an appealing face, I wasn't particularly interested in watching her. I say this because I know some of you slavering fanboys whine like bitches whenever I point her deficiencies out but I can appreciate that we all have different factors that work for us too. She followed the formula with LT as her partner and did the basics well enough but there wasn't any magic, spark, or passion here so unless you're already a fan of hers or want a generic scene to get off to, you might want to pass this one up. He held her head steady for the mouth shot but she never swallowed.

Scene Five: Jasmine Byrne, the hotty on the front DVD cover, was up last and for good reason; she was the lynchpin of the show in many ways. Her red & black outfit, shiny red DSL's, and sweet little body were in fine form as she teased a bit before taking on Tee Reel on the large bed. He was just as impressed with her body as I was and her lap dance grind on his dick made me want to whip out a 20 (dollar bill, if I had twenty inches, I'd be making porn, not writing about it). Like Olivia, she was a highlight of the show and while not as sexually skilled as her older peer, she managed to create a tent in my pants nonetheless. In all, she gave a good performance and the oral, vaginal and anal were all above average before she took the pop shot to her lovely little mouth but he didn't give her much to work with.

Summary: Spanish Harlem was worth a rating of Rent It for me given that only two of the gals really offered up much replay value of consequence. The technical values were decent enough and the amount of fuck for the buck was okay but the lack of any substantial extras and need for more work on honing the DVD on top of the marginal performances by the majority of women all added up to a title that you'll want to check out before buying. If you enjoy the cast and the formula they worked with, you might want to add a few points here and there but you can see better elsewhere.
