Extra's: This being another 2 disc Collector's Edition, the extras were nearly as good as the movie itself with a lengthy bonus scene between Sonya and Erik Everhard one of the best things found on the second disc. 36.5 minutes is a long time for a scene and the couple made best use of their time together so aside from the lack of anal in the scene, it was very well done. There was also about a half hour of Behind the Scenes material where the gals had sex, played before and after the scenes, and otherwise added value in all of the 31 minutes shown. There were some funny moments (like the dirty sheets from Rita's scene) but some great material for fans of the performers too. The other extras included the pop shot compilation from the scenes (including the bonus scene this time), a photogallery, some trailers, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Anal POV #3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Erik Everhard for distribution by Red Light District. The scenes were all shot in POV (point of view) so the fan could fantasize about being in the thick of the action with the ladies and Erik has been getting better at this type of thing for months now. The fleshtones were very accurate, the composition of the shots enhanced the look of the gals, and the lighting was pretty decent too (keeping the shadows and grain at bay most of the time). It may not have been the best looking POV gonzo production from Red Light District I've ever seen but it was still better than average. There were no compression artifacts or video noise either so the DVD mastering appears to have been done pretty well too. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English audio was more of a basic matter, as expected, but okay too. The dynamic range was okay and the separation nonexistent but I could hear all the moans and groans well enough for my tastes.

Body of Review: Erik Everhard may be moving on to another company but his work in 2005 was a major reason why Red Light District and Platinum X Pictures won the best company award in the recent DVD Talk 2005's Top Porn List. With a few of his peers, he introduced the Collector/Special/Better edition DVD sets to gonzo porn in an attempt to raise the bar of competition; succeeding nicely where others had failed. Today's review of Anal POV #3 (Prostitutes On Video): Collector's Edition was another solid hit for Erik as he provided tremendous fuck for the buck on both discs by using the point of view camera angle popularized by some of his pals like Mike John. That said, here's a brief breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and the replay value was very high:

Scene One: Dora Venter, a blonde hotty that has aged rather well since her days as a Private contract gal, was up first as she walked back into Erik Everhard's life and into his living room as she slowly stripped off all her clothes to entice him into some heated fun. Summary: Anal POV #3: Collector's Edition was the type of gonzo presentation that has been fueling the fires of competition between a handful of higher end companies. The technical qualities of the DVD set were decent, the ladies were top notch, and the extras were very good at adding value to the show. The simple fact of the matter is that for under $20, Erik provided nearly three and a half hours of stroke material in the movie itself with the extras bringing the total up to the better part of five hours of all new material. I know some companies re-package older material to impress some critics but the bottom line is that this was all new and all solid so I rated it as Highly Recommended. I truly wonder if Erik will be able to offer the kind of value he's been providing at Red Light when he moves over to Evil (his prices will assuredly go up a lot to keep in line with their policies) but the glory days of 2005 sure were fun while they lasted.
