Extra's: The best extra here was a series of five interviews with the ladies. They each lasted a few minutes and were fluff pieces but I liked them nonetheless. There were also trailers, a pop shot compilation, a photogallery, and a true double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Analogy 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as directed by Axel Braun for release under Sin City's Mayhem label. There was substantially better lighting than most gonzo (not too harsh to wash the performers out but not so dark as to hide the action) and this led to fairly limited amounts of grain and video noise. The camera angles and composition enhanced the look of the cast too with few of the rapid paced cuts weaker editors use to cover up poor photography with. The DVD mastering was pretty good too with few compression artifacts but a bit of pattern noise a few times. In all then, the visual aspects of the DVD were well handled in large part, a credit to Axel and his crew. The audio registered as a 2.0 Dolby Digital track but I didn't hear a lot of separation between the channels (none in terms of the vocals) and the vocals sounded a bit hollow to my ear.

Body of Review: Vignette driven porn sure has seen a lot of change in recent years as the competition heats up with many companies routinely providing over two hours of material in the movie, supplemented with lots of extras in order to stand out from the crowd. Sin City's hardcore Mayhem line has been one of the early adopters of providing a wealth of material so I happily picked up Axel Braun's latest release for the company, Analogy 2 for review. Okay, there weren't 140+ minutes of movie here but I liked what I saw with a solid cast doing all the advertised action with decent technical values. Each gal did anal and seemed to like it, a change of pace from the multitude of performers who put up with the act for the extra money it provides. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Vanessa Lane, the gal on the front DVD cover, was up first as she masturbated anally with a small toy. This was used to lube and stretch her ass for scene partner Chris Charming to come along, lick and otherwise savor on a small black leather couch. She enjoyed the rimjob more than a little bit and didn't mind his fingering her ass either. Rather than get a blowjob, do some vaginal, and eventually find his way into her ass, he went right into her ass with his erect penis. I know a number of you prefer this type of thing but some more tease might've worked for me more. She did some ATM before going back to energetically boning in several more positions (sticking with anal of course) before jerking off his dick with her feet. She's not fat but she's definitely built more for comfort than speed (my type of gal in fact) and I liked that she had more time to tease the camera here before being joined by Tony T. My biggest concern with any scene containing him is that he has a tendency to start mouthing off and treating the women like pieces of meat so I patiently watched as she blew him with a lot more energy than usual to see if he'd revert to form. I can't tell you how much I appreciated his silence (he made few comments compared to his usual spiel) as he went right into the anal from the blowjob. That she actively and aggressively rode his shaft made this one of her best scenes to date too.

Scene Three: Haley Paige, a cute gal with long brown hair and a youthful body, was up next on a stripper stage as she danced around and stripped for the camera in her light yellow lingerie. I enjoyed this as the start of a scene even more than the others with her dirty talk working Steve French up in the background (it was like a home strip club set). She dropped right to her knees and started showing off skills she never had a few years ago and gave a very sloppy blowjob to him that allowed her to keep up the appearance of a fresh little number. They then started screwing in a standing manner with her pussy taking him in as she coaxed him into pumping faster, deeper and harder. Scene Four: Melissa Lauren, a brunette with pretty eyes and a lean figure, teased the camera as she talked dirty and rubbed her body in the cavernous living room by the couch. Her rounded ass looked built for anal and her spanking it seemed indicative of the action to come nearly as much as the fingering of her ass than tasting it did. Her partners were Brett Rockman and Billy Glide in the scene with Billy getting first head as Brett walked in on them. This led to a short DP and back to them doing her one at a time after that. If that's just acting, she should be up for an award and if she really likes it rough; all the better. In any case, the men put her through some more paces and ended it with a couple of loads to her face, showing some chemistry with the energetic performance she gave.

Scene Five: Alicia Angel, a lean little brunette in the game room wearing a see through black nightie, showed off her assets and alluring face for the tease portion of the scene. I've only seen her one other time, in Just Another Whore 2, but she's a cutie so I can see why they picked her to end the show. The tease wasn't nearly long enough for me but she worked well with both Sascha and Chris Charming; giving them head on the couch that I knew she'd learned a few tricks since our last encounter. The guys then took turns with each end as one would bone her pussy and the other would fuck her face. This led to anal and a DP with the guys screwing her repeatedly as they saw fit. She was easily the weakest link of the chain in terms of the sex here but she was so darned cute and fresh to porn that she earned extra points to offset any issues I noticed. It ended with her taking their loads into her mouth and while not the best ending, it complimented the other scene just fine as a change in pace if nothing else.

Summary: Analogy 2 had some fine quality fuck for the buck with solid replay value and lots of enthusiasm. The extras were lighter than average and the movie was shorter than advertised but the movie still merited a rating of Recommended (it would've been higher if these two areas weren't lacking). The ladies included such hotties as Brooke Haven, Vanessa Lane, Haley Paige, and others doing some of their best work in recent months. Axel did a good job with the movie and I think it was well worth your time and money. In summary, fans of anal action could do much worse than Analogy 2 since it provides a lot of entertainment with the kind of technical values and performers we like to see.
