Extra's: The best extra was the 28 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Juan Cuba. I know the guy is starting to direct actual movies but he has done a solid job on various BTS features like this in the past and I found this one to be no exception. The gals had more sex, showed off more of their bodies, and seemed to have fun even during the interviews this time so the extra added some value for me. There was also a photogallery and a double sided DVD cover but they've never really done much for me, thankfully the movie was lengthy and the BTS feature was so good.

Audio/Video Quality: Cunt Gushers was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Manuel Ferrara for Red Light District. The lighting was almost always solid and that kept the grain to a minimum, the video noise at bay, and the fleshtones looking great although some parts had minor shadows and over saturated parts too. The composition of the camera shots was well handled and that typically made the gals look better than usual although the minimalist settings sure didn't lend any extra appeal for me. The DVD appeared to be mastered well enough with no artifacts or shimmer observed and it should be noted that the light watermark the company employs was present in the lower right hand corner (it was barely noticeable). The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was fairly basic too with the vocals easily heard but nothing exceptional in this regard; making it about average for a gonzo release.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara has had a blessed life in recent years. Not only has he had the opportunity to work with numerous beautiful women as a sex partner, he's made his mark as a director too. I spoke with him recently and he's making a move to another company but fully expects to provide the same quality fans have come to expect of his movies as well as more extras. His latest release for Red Light District is Cunt Gushers, a set of five scenes with squirting as the dominating theme. Unlike some of the other companies on the market, the gals here didn't make it so obvious that they were taking a leak, offering up very wet pussies as they were jilled off by Manuel and company to a far more realistic scene. Some did anal, others were better at vaginal but the end result was a solid set of scenes that should appeal to a wide audience into the type of chemistry that Manuel Ferrara has been known to provide. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Alicia Angel, a brunette with a slightly curvy ass, began the movie bent over with an anal plug stretching her rectum for the later insertion of a large cock. She was smiling and otherwise playful for the camera as she teased director Manuel and I was certain that he'd be tapping this honey in no time. As is sometimes the case, I was wrong and she took care of Brandon Iron for awhile and the majority of the scene with Michael Stefano after some masturbation antics. Scene Two: Joey, another gal with an attractive look (this time being 22 years old), was up with Manuel Ferrara after following the tease formula established. Scene Three: Naomi, a gal with a bubble butt that I found especially appealing at the 2006 AEE show, was up next in a scene where she wore a pink PVC outfit and white fishnet stockings. She looked like the type of gal that could get a lot of press if given a break too so it was little wonder that Manuel Ferrara kept her for himself. He could barely keep the camera focused as he initially interviewed her and I admit that her personality won me over during the show for a sense of playfulness (even on the last day when everyone else was tired). Otherwise, there wasn't a lengthy blowjob or filler material as some gonzo directors feel compelled to offer and her sexual skill went largely untested. I hope to see more of her in the future even if this wasn't her best work but it was a decent scene nonetheless. It also ended with a swallow and had some decent replay value.

Scene Four: Sandra Romain, perhaps the most experienced female of the cast and a gonzo award winning hotty if ever one existed, was up next in an attempt to provide more experience to the mix. She wore a white fishnet outfit and a striped thong to barely cover that great ass of hers. With the kind of tease footage that has landed her numerous scenes, I wasn't prepared for the early jilling Manuel Ferrara used to coax out a puddle (not a piss as with so many other squirt queens) but I wasn't minding her routine since she blew him so well before the two engaged in what could almost be considered a contest of wills to see who would dominate the other as they screwed like banshees. Some of the others might be more attractive in terms of youth, freshness, or other standardized porn factors but for the kind of "balls to the wall" scene, Sandra has almost no equal. She energetically and aggressively rode his penis in both her pussy and ass; eventually taking his load into her mouth to swallow. The scene was a winner on all levels and fans of heated sex will appreciate her for all she offered up here.

Scene Five: Brianna Love, the hotty featured on the front DVD cover with light hair, a lean body, and apparently a contract performer at a company known for chewing them up and moving on to the next flavor of the week, took care of Michael Stefano after following the formula here. The tease was genuinely appealing and her playful sense of fun added something that even a talented all star like Sandra couldn't provide; making this a solid scene to end the movie with. She used a vibrator on herself (why she didn't turn it on at first is unknown by me) and I'm sure many of you would be bidding on it if the thing ended up on Ebay after the scene. Michael went down on her before they screwed vaginally and that led to the eventual anal although she was far from the anal queen so many others working for Red Light have been in recent years. I see why the company hired her (looks and freshness) but she'll still need to turn up the heat a few notches before she earns her place over the likes of their usual gals. The wetness factor was minimal here and she did swallow his load but outside of her physical attractiveness, it was only a decent scene; not the greatness I'd have expected. Still, she's a babe and I think her potential is very high for great scenes.

Summary: Cunt Gushers might not have been the very best Manuel has offered in the past year but it was well worth a rating of Recommended for the kind of solid cast, the heated scenes, and the kind of chemistry that few gonzo directors seem capable of offering fans these days. The amount of fuck for the buck was pretty solid too with a value adding behind the Scenes feature making it well worth checking out. I wish Manuel a lot of luck in his future endeavors but I will say that hits like this one and Mind Fuck make it clear that he's no fluke in porn, regardless of what a handful of others online seem to think.
