Extra's: The initial extras included on the DVD were the usual five bonus scenes; including three from previous movies with Lexie Marie in them and a couple more to fill out the package. There was a short biography for Lexie Marie too but like most such biographies, it wasn't worth much to me. There was a 11.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Nate Liquor too, a positions room, a series of trailers including titles like The New Devil In Miss Jones, Take My Wife, Janine Been Blackmaled, Nameless, and Spiked; a couple of photogalleries, and some spam for phone sex and Vivid products (as well as the usual double sided DVD cover).

Audio/Video Quality: Served was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as directed by Chi Chi LaRue for Vivid Entertainment. The lighting was flat but plentiful so this helped minimize the grain and video noise in most cases, keeping the shadows at bay too for the most part. The composition of the shots tended to favor the ladies more often than not but this being a non-stop orgy movie, there wasn't a lot of time to truly compose the angles each time. Further, even with three talented camera operators, the ability to cut from one bit of action to another unnoticed was virtually impossible so as an experiment it gained some points but the rough edges were frequent and not always the best way to showcase these women. The DVD mastering seemed pretty good though with no compression artifacts observed and few other problems outside of some moments when a camera went out of focus. The audio was presented in a standardized 2.0 stereo English but I doubt the sex was recorded with anything other than monaural given the complete lack of separation between the channels. The dynamic range was about the same as usual too with the emphasis clearly on the visual presentation over the auditory experience once again.

Body of Review: Chi Chi LaRue is probably best known as the second most prolific director at Vivid these days, following close to Paul Thomas in terms of sheer quantity of output. In many ways, this puts him in the enviable position of getting to experiment from time to time with a variety of different styles in between the number of award winning features or series he knocks out on a regular basis. While few would argue that Vivid is a greenhouse of experimentation from the norm of porn production, a close look at some of their titles in recent months shows a willingness to think outside the box (pun intended) as Paul, Chi Chi, B. Skow and others stray from the formulaic porn the company often rests its laurels on. Such was the case with his latest movie, Served, an orgy flick where there was no plot, no acting, and a continuous stream of sex acts from the performers as they engaged in everything you might expect of them. I'm not going to outline the sexual acts in a mechanical manner this time but I'll try to hit some of the highlights as possible, noting that condoms were standard but they really didn't play a major role in the movie for me. Fans of the beautiful Lexie Marie will take note that she was the sexual showcase of the movie and seemed to get a lot more than average screen time than most of the others.

Scene One: Lexie Marie, August, Alexis Amore, Nadia Hilton, Steven St. Croix, Kris Knight, Tommy Gunn, and Scott Nails were all present and accounted for throughout the movie that was set at the end of a dinner given by Lexie Marie and Steven St. Croix. Steven claimed to be at fault for allowing these apparently regular dinner parties to become routine and boring so he had servant Tommy start things off by introducing curvy little spitfire Alexis Amore (in a hot little pink and black PVC outfit into the room. She began to rub and tease the crowd who all responded by slowly getting out of their clothes with their partners in a heated fashion. Steven hooked up with Lexie, Kris with August, Scott with Naudia, and Tommy with Alexis although these veritable alliances changed as the movie continued.

Initially, the partners focused on orally pleasing one another with the editing attempting to try and keep things from getting stale by moving around fairly quickly (rarely lingering too long). The men ate at the Y and the gals sucked dick like there was no tomorrow in a playful manner that Chi Chi has used in previous outings (typically his Where The Boys Aren't releases). If I were called upon to rank order the sexual antics, I'd have to point out that August and Alexis seemed extremely capable but Lexie's beauty went a long way to adding points in her account (and she was certainly no slouch in giving head).

Naudia and Alexis had the benefit of large implants to give titty fucks though so they gained a few nods for their ability to milk a nut like the others only wished they could do but ultimately the screwing was a mixed bag all around. Most of the work in that category was vaginal with some anal exceptions to cover the bases too. Alexis was clearly the anal action champion of the movie that none of the others could've touched had they wanted to; riding the cock in her ass like a freaky hotty in search of a niche to fill. In all, the taste testing and pop shots to chests and heads satisfied the basics needed in a show but there were times when I was left wondering if a few more clear delineation lines (typically referred to as "scenes") might've made more sense. Given the length of the movie, I don't think that's too much to ask and perhaps a sequel might try this unique approach with a few hours of footage (and maybe a couple of orgies for fans).

Summary: Served had a solid cast and some of the usual decent extras but I was on the fence with regard to how to rate it. I really wanted it to last longer but the action wasn't the typical Vivid feature sex where there was more talking and plot than action (how long do the scenes last in that type of movie?). For the sheer amount of concentrated fuck for the buck combined with the wonderful cast, I split the hair upwards and rated it as Recommended although I think it's fair to point out that fans of Lexie Marie will likely be unable to find a show where she had so much screen time. Keep in mind that the other gals were in good form too and the men appeared quite happy with the casting of such quality poon tang in the movie so check it out if you're at all interested in Chi Chi's latest experimental porno.
