Extra's: The best extra by most standards was a bonus scene between Brianna Beach, Gisselle Royal, Juan Cuba, and Jake Malone that lasted about 21.5 minutes. The gals took a big facial finish from the men and showed some talent although I could see why they weren't in the movie itself. I also really liked the 31.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature as it gave most (if not all) of the ladies from the movie a chance to shine. There was a photogallery, some trailers, spam, a double sided DVD cover, and likely an Easter Egg but I didn't find it.

Audio/Video Quality: Face Blasters 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Juan Cuba for Elegant Angel. I'm familiar with his work at Platinum X Pictures as a behind the scenes guy so I knew he'd probably do a decent job as director too. In all, the composition of the shots wasn't always the best but he showed enough raw talent that I'm willing to watch him develop as a full fledged director over time. The lighting was only average though and this led to some issues with grain, video noise, and shadows yet he did a reasonably good job overall in presenting a solid set of visuals. There were no compression artifacts so even the mastering of the DVD was handled well. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo was in English but the actual audio appeared to be shot in monaural with the processing added later on (in the mastering part of the process). The vocals were generally clear but lacked any separation or dynamic range so this is an area that Juan needs to work more on.

Body of Review: Elegant Angel has long been a major force in porn although a few years ago, they seemed to be just about to close. The company didn't even have a booth at the 2004 AEE Show although company owner Patrick Collins roamed Las Vegas to save the day. Thankfully, he did just that and Elegant rose from the ashes to achieve new heights (or is that new lows?) of depravity by giving various directors a shot at making some hot porn. The latest release by the company had Juan Cuba at the helm of Face Blasters 3, a blowjob only movie with a cast of very skilled cocksuckers well worth your time. I'm familiar with Juan's work at PXP and got a chance to speak with him briefly at the 2006 AEE Show and while he appeared a little hurt that I didn't know about the Face Blaster series (he directed all three), he was appreciative that I actually wanted his picture as one of the movers and potential shakers in porn. In all though, the show was a lot better than I thought it would be so here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were worn and all the gals took facials:

Scene One: Michelle B., Joey, and Jake Malone were up first after busty Michelle and lean Joey came across him while making out on the couch. They called him "creepy" and I could see their point but he did offer them the meat they craved so much. Yeah, he was made to look like a stalker and a lame one at that but that's his lot in life (and he gets paid to bone women so it's not all bad). The oral by each of the trio was pretty good and the gals gave him a titty fuck (well, Michelle did) before the inevitable load spewed forth as he jerked it out on their faces.

She was a highlight of the 2006 AEE Show for many folks due to her outgoing nature and great body, even being a spotlight performer in a past Blue Room column. Her oral skills were top notch although I wanted to see her do a lot more with Brandon's rod (and I'm willing to bet he'd agree with me). Yum!

Scene Five: Melissa Lauren, Memphis Monroe, Johnny Fender, and Mike Hash, were up next after Melissa dominated Memphis in an empty room using some bondage gear. Had it remained a lesbian scene, I think it would've been even hotter but the guys did an okay job for the semi-pro nature of their skills. The scene ended with facials but it was how Memphis prevailed over all of them by truly enjoying the oral that won me over the most.

Scene Six: Trina Michaels, the 22 year old busty blonde with a wonderful attitude, was up next as she took on both Johnny Fender and Mike Hash after crawling on her hands and knees to tease the camera. I don't like implants but she always makes me smile with her smile so the sex came across as real. I just wish it were more than an oral only scene given the way her ass glowed (and begged to be tamed).

Scene Seven: Courtney Simpson and Sierra Sinn, were up next as they walked into an adult movie store where Brandon Iron was the clerk and Mike Hash was his assistant (I believe it was Mike). I thought the setting was kind of cool and the gals were okay at giving head.

Scene Eight: Tiffany Taylor, a very attractive brunette with pretty eyes and a lean physique, was up next in a living room with Brandon Iron. They didn't talk much, just went at the blowjob as if it were the most natural thing in the world. She did use some dirty talk after getting underway but not that much. Based on her work here though, I want to see her in a full scene soon.

Scene Nine: Mysti May, a curvy blonde with a stripper's body, was smoking by the pool when Jake Malone walked over to her. He played her creepy stepfather and basically blackmailed her into a blowjob. I wasn't keen on the scenario but knowing it was completely made up, I could live with it but given the way things are going these days, such scenes aren't a great idea. Regardless, she did a fine job inhaling his meat pipe and they were joined by Brandon Iron and Juan Cuba midway through.

Summary: Face Blasters 3 was worth a rating of Recommended by my general standards for the amount of fuck for the buck on top of the wonderfully talented cast. The extras were good too and the technical values, while slightly on the rough side, reminded me a lot of Juan's work on the great BTS features from PXP. I wish I had seen his other attempts at direction since that would give me a better idea of his learning curve but if he keeps getting better, he may some day become as well received as some of his former employers at PXP have been in recent years. Patrick Collins is once again to be congratulated for the foresight of using Juan's talents in a manner that his more regular employer didn't, something Patrick's done for a long, long time I've noticed. Check it out but I thought it was very well done for what was attempted.
