Extra's: For most people, the generic foreign scene starring Rosalie lasting 25 minutes long will be the best extra. It was a standard style scene and sadly enough, it wasn't credited so I have no idea what release it came from even though it looked familiar. Personally, I enjoyed the 41 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love and Dynomite Dolomite. All the gals got a chance to showcase their bodies and backgrounds a bit with some playful lesbian action on occasion. It was a lot of fun to watch and fans of the performers will enjoy it a lot too. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, and a true double sided DVD cover for those who care as well.

Audio/Video Quality: Girl Crazy #7 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected and originally shot by director Xavier Mann (Jonni Darkko's alias). The colors were decent though sometimes slightly muted, the lighting fairly solid, and the grain minimal but there were some areas where the action looked a tad washed out on occasion. There was also some grain at times, no compression artifacts, and some pattern noise on the fishnets but the flaws were minor and the overall picture quality was a bit above average. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English audio track was decent and I could easily hear the dirty talk most of the cast used but the emphasis on music over vocals dragged it down a bit for me. While not a quantum leap forward in terms of technical qualities, it looked and sounded pretty solid compared to some of his earlier efforts in the series.

Body of Review: Having watched scores of lesbian movies over the years, recent series have sometimes offered up far more satisfying styles of gal pal love compared to movies from the good old days. One of the better series for me comes from Digital Sin with the latest volume being Girl Crazy #7. I really enjoyed Girl Crazy #6 so I was looking forward to seeing if this volume could keep up with it as the series has been a bit of a mixed blessing for me over the various outings I've received for review. In a general sense, the popular director seems to have a decent sense of who will work well together although he also takes chances at times (some of which fail), and the use of toys is good enough to satisfy fans without pissing off those not into the huge toys some shows employ as circus act sex tricks. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that most of the gals worked at least somewhat well with one another and all looked appealing to me:

Scene One: Texas Presley, a homegrown hotty from the wacky city of Austin, TX, was up first with blonde cutie Tiffani DiGivanni on the living room couch. The two contrasted in terms of looks and I got the impression that Texas was in charge here as the dominant force as she walked over to suck on and play with her new gal pal. She's new to porn but definitely poised to make an impact at the meteoric rate she's going, I just hope she avoids the cliché about "a candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long". In this case, she also snacked on Tiffani's crack first, pulling off her coworker's undies for better access to a fine little hoochie. Tiffani responded with a huge blue dildo (allowing the viewer perfect access to Texas' perfect pucker) with both licking it clean out of the pussy. Texas then deployed a strap on dildo but Tiffani wasn't nearly as energetic as Texas. The scene was kind of one sided but still worth checking out.

Scene Two: Alexis Malone, a lean bleach blonde, and brunette Kaiya Lynn, were up next as they made out on the floor. Women kissing slow and passionately are always a good idea in a lesbian flick as it builds up the kind of heat guys like to see for their hard earned dollars. That the action continued slowly on the breasts and other body parts was just an added bonus in a day & age when male directors seem to think lizard kissing is preferable (it isn't). Regardless, Alexis' aqua flavored lingerie and Kaiya's pink panties looked wet enough to be auctioned off by the end of the scene that had the two gals take their time with one another; rubbing, sucking, and licking one another in a heated fashion. They used normal sized vibrators with Kaiya doing a technical DP with two of them, as Alexis continually licked her clit hood, ending with more oral. I thought these two were more evenly paired up and showed chemistry together. Yum!

Scene Three: Karlie Montana and Simone, the two gals on the front DVD cover, were up next as Karlie masturbated by the glass door leading to the terrace. Simone came along to assist her in getting off, wearing a neon pink bikini that contrasted with Karlie's black & white version. Both gals looked all natural and like they had little experience with lesbian love but although it came across as slightly awkward at times, it also seemed kind of appealing in a perverted sort of way. They then moved into the bed and used toys and tongues on one another with some of the natural light still available to enhance their already attractive looks. In all, it wasn't a great scene but it was pretty fair in most ways.

Scene Four: Alektra Blue and Sonya Vidal were up next on the couch as Alektra walked in and greeted her pal silently. Both perked up and went right to working each other over but Alektra was the dominant factor early on. The sex was playful, perhaps more playful than usual for this type of show, and each gal excelled at going down on the other as well as receiving the attention offered up. That propelled the chemistry levels skyward for me and made it a better scene although I would've preferred to hear them verbally appreciate the action more often than they did (which was a problem throughout the movie's scenes). It ended after Alektra got extra rough, pulling Sonya's hair and spanking her, during the strap on dildo portion of the show. It was fun to watch, especially as a lesbian trapped inside a man's body. Whew!

Scene Five: Emilianna and Amy Ried were up last as they followed the formulaic program by the couch. They were both lean with barely a couple of pounds of baby fat to spare, and owners of large breasts but while they looked good together, the action was decidedly mechanical most of the time. I wasn't sure if it was one of them sending signals to the other or just the two doing a "gay for pay" act but even though they did the same basic sex tricks as the other couples, they came off as less into it than all the others.

Summary: Girl Crazy #7 was worth a rating of Recommended for the quality of the cast and the manner in which they applied their unique skills in the scenes they were in. The movie started off strong with Texas being the highlight, got better with Alektra and Sonya and then bottomed out with the last scene yet there was a decent amount of fuck for the buck to be had. It may not be the best volume of the series by Jonni or even his best lesbian work from all he's done (his recent work at Evil Angel has been even better in fact) but he showed why he's in demand with enough potential for growth that even I nod my head his way when we chat at industry shows.
