Audio/Video Quality: My First Porn 2 was presented in a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen color as originally shot by the talented Robby D.. The lighting and camera style were similar to the excellent Teen America so I knew I wouldn't have a lot to fuss about here. Thanks to the usually proper lighting, there were few problems with the grain or video noise that other series (including the occasional volume of Jack's Playground) seem to have and this was a pleasing aspect of the show. In terms of the DVD mastering, I saw no compression artifacts, moiré, or other compression based issues. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround although the vocals were likely shot in monaural with the popular coding added in during the post production work. Still, outside of some minor periods of hollowness, I could hear what was said (along with all the usual background noise). To sum up the technical values, they might not have been Robby's best work to date but they were generally very well done.

Body of Review: As increasing amounts of productions at Digital Playground revolve around Robby D.'s Jack's Playground series, the question gets asked as to whether or not the original series should be retired. Much of the discussion centers on the quality of the newer material and I'll admit to playing a large role in forwarding the idea (with other reviewers and readers in particular). Part of the reasoning is that the newer titles have more sex, show better technical values, and typically have better comedy but if Robbie thinks he has some tricks up his sleeve to revive the show, I'll patiently wait for him to prove it. In the case of the newly created spin off series, My First Porn, I thought the potential was (and remains) huge to expand upon the character of Jack (the director) as he finally breaks into porn with the assistance of an older mentor who gives him tips that are among the funniest bits seen in recent years to grace a porno (yet they remain true as well, making them all the more funny). Dropping the music video concept, leaving the beauty contest behind, and getting down to business for real, Robbie slyly winks at the porn industry conventions he so often embraces with the latest volume being My First Porn 2. Like My First Porn 1, the movie spends some quality time discussing "Jack's" ideas for his porno yet dumps them in favor of capturing the hotties fairly quickly yet does so in a manner that really elevates the fusion of comedy and sexual energy. Careful not to make the same mistakes on this series as with J.P., Robbie seems on a roll with this second volume providing the same levels of "fun" with enough stroke material for any of you raincoaters but enough comedy to differentiate it and set it above the pack. Here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that contrary to what you may read on gossip websites, no condoms were used:

Scene One: Rita Faytoyano, one of my favorite porn stars for years, was up first as a stripper with narcolepsy wearing a hot black & white outfit that made me think "Holey Moley!" (thanks to her signature skin markings). Her partner was the studly Tommy Gunn and the couch was the destination for them to play on as she tried her best to "be a porn star". Her all natural and lean body gyrated on top of the mountain of muscles before falling asleep in his lap then sucking him off. He returned the oral pleasure on her little pussy after which they boned away (in character) like silly. She was a passionate little thing and I was surprised they stuck with the vaginal action only but it did end with the facial as expected. In all, it was a decent scene to start off with.

Scene Two: Jasmine Bryne, the hotty on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next in a scenario where she played a secretary to Marco Duato's janitor character. The two looked perfect for one another and she was all over him in moments as she rubbed and licked his shaft through his underwear. He felt her up too but she seemed on fire as she attacked him orally in the blowjob scene. Those who have seen her deepthroating style in the past will know how well she performed here too but her attention to detail was really passionate. He snacked on her crack to reciprocate, feeding her a taste of her own juices via his fingers but this served only to whet her appetite for the screwing that took place afterwards. They did vaginal and anal with her pumping on his shaft in both modes as though she were getting off. If she ever writes a book claiming it was forced or how she hated it, she should get an Academy Award for how well she appeared to enjoy the action because simply put; she seemed to get off a few times here. The scene ended with the usual pop shot to the face though she didn't swallow as hoped for. It was even better than Rita's scene, and I've been a Rita fan for a very long time.

Scene Three: Devon, the blonde featured on the front DVD cover and former contract gal, was dressed up in a red & white checkered shirt and blue jeans playing a pizza girl delivering to Scott Nails on the couch when the scenario was tossed out in favor of the sex. She bent over into his lap and he ate her ass out before she pushed him back and sucked him off. I've always found it interesting that she started getting better during the last year of her contract, almost as if she were trying to delay the inevitable, but I'll take whatever Digital Playground has to offer in terms of her already shot footage. They screwed doggy style at first before moving to a few other vaginal positions with the standard facial at the end but she was best in the oral this time, failing to show much energy when being porked.

Scene Four: Eva Angelina, the hotty on the left hand side of the front DVD cover that looks a lot like Jasmine, played the psychotic porn chick who flipped out after the hilarious advice of Jack's mentor. She had issues with doing interracial, regardless of the fact that Andreas Moranti, was white so it shouldn't have mattered. The analogy between porn chicks being addicted to money like Scooby Doo was to Scooby snacks had me rolling with laughter but the same could be said of most of the comments made in the voice-overs by Joey. The scene got off to a slow start but she reverted to form and added in some fine energy once given the proper incentive at regular intervals with oral, titty fucking, and screwing all handled nicely. Normally, I'd complain about the comedy bits interfering with the sex acts offered up like a slot machine, but it was presented just right. That made it "fun" as Robbie called it with the allegations of the character to being a former contract star at the company, Tera Patrick, floating around made it all the more hilarious. The facial was okay as well and I'd be in denial if I said the scene, comedy and all, didn't have tremendous replay value for me.

Scene Five: Carmen, the hot brunette maid/pool cleaner reprising her role from Teen America 10, was up last as Scott Nails pointed out to Robby that he could toss his high minded ideas in favor of a great ass. The idea has played out thousands of times behind closed doors in the porn world in the past so the more you've watched porn or discussed it with others, the more poignant the comments were. Admittedly, her ass was fine as could be and the "story" associated with watching her walk was all I needed to get a chubby as the couple walked inside by the pool table. I could've done without the large blue balls (also symbolic) used to stretch the ass but he was orally attentive and she didn't seem to mind (Robbie's comment about Ompa-Lumpa's at the chocolate factory was funny too) one bit. She then greedily sucked him off and he boned her like crazy in several positions, including anal with ATM. The scene ended with the facial and I admit that due to the scenes she's been in for D.P., I've grown attached to her (my Pavlovian response to seeing her ass is to get hard and ready for sex).

Summary: My First Porn 2 was another title earning a rating of Highly Recommended for the levels of relay value, the excellent cast of fine ladies, and the skill they showed in the scenes. It didn't hurt that the comedy was well above average or that the technical values (for whatever minor tossed in "flaws") were a cut or two above what has become standard in the industry either. The garish cover to the DVD (complete with intentional misspellings) drew the eye and seemed to be a fitting tribute to the theme at hand. I would've liked there to be another sex scene and better extras (trailers and photogalleries are okay but hardly reasonable extras this late in the evolution of DVDs) but the quality of the presentation was very high so I really found little to fault Robbie and his crew over this time. I hope future volumes continue to pick "A" list gals (Katja Kassin, Tiffany Rayne, Jana Cova and the other Digital Playground contract stars come to mind) but also keep the comedic elements so perfectly integrated as they have been in the first two outings. In summary, My First Porn 2 did not suffer in any way from the dreaded sophomore slump plaguing other series, providing an even better offering of quality entertainment.
