Extra's: The best extra for most people will be the 22 minute long scene between Penny Flame and Tommy Gunn. It was hot, full of energy, and well worth watching (though it didn't say which movie it came from, it showed a sports stadium in the background). I also really liked the 17.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature as it showcased most of the performers (giving them a chance to show a lighter side, more nudity, and fun times on a porn set) but I was kind of irked that Tiana Lynn wasn't given any time here. There were five trailers, a photogallery, a double sided DVD cover, and some spam to round out the extras this time. Oh, and there was a minute long Easter Egg of action between Sandra Romain and Brian Surewood if you highlight the Elegant Angel logo on the front DVD menu (up top) where she playfully teases his penis.

Audio/Video Quality: Man's Best Friend was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as directed by Zak Wylde for Elegant Angel. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting decent, with the visual flaws like grain and video noise generally minimal. The composition of the camera angles wasn't always the best in terms of making the gals look their best but there weren't too bad either so I have to admit that Zak is getting better as a director with time and experience. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was in English though more basic in most ways than expected with little separation and limited dynamic range but it didn't get in the way of the heat when it appeared in the action either.

Body of Review: As a fan of Elegant Angel for some time now, I've often wondered why they seemed more like a training ground for people in the industry rather than a place to stay with but upon asking different players in the field, the answers varied more than a little bit. Today's review is on their latest title, Man's Best Friend, a show with no driving theme other than a group of attractive ladies were having sex with male (and sometimes female) partners. The Gamelink company website stated it like this: "Mans Best Friend is not a dog, these are cute playful kitties. That's right, the greatest species known to man, women! So next time you hear the phrase Mans Best Friend it'll have a new meaning. Instead of Fido, you'll be thinking willing sluts. A variety of fetishes including footjobs, sperm swapping, squirting, DPs, anal, lots of tasty facials and swallowing!" In all, the scenes were all top notch so here's a brief breakdown of them by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Summary: Man's Best Friend was a title I enjoyed enough to rate as Recommended based not just on the levels of fuck for the buck it had, not just the great cast of talented hotties, but also the improved technical values and value-adding extras. It wasn't perfect but it came pretty close to getting the next highest rating and I didn't think there was a scene in the movie that was a filler scene. Elegant Angel has had some ups and downs in recent years but this was definitely one of the most varied "ups" from them I've seen with lots of kink action for those into acts a little off the beaten path.
