Extra's: The best extra for me was the 14.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Bridawg. It had most of the cast getting to spend some time discussing their role, their sexual identity for the movie, and getting ready for their scenes. There was some nudity, some sexual conduct, and some of the bloopers you'd expect of a feature porno. It added some value to the DVD package and I only wish it lasted longer. This was followed by the series of interviews by the female cast, ranging from a 3 minute discussion with Sophia to a 6 minute short with Texas Presley (they were longer than most releases by Sin City). There was a cumshot recap, a photogallery, some trailers, spam and a double sided DVD cover. As a word of caution, there was no director commentary as advertised.

Audio/Video Quality: Orgasmika was presented in an anamorphic widescreen color with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 as shot by director Axel Braun for Sin City. The lighting on the movie was purposely lower than average, causing a lot of grain, some video noise, and other minor flaws but lending an air of atmosphere often missing in modern porn. If you hate seeing washed out colors, shadows, and other flaws, you'll probably want to skip this one but if you're in the mood for something visually interesting and appealing as a feature, the flaws won't be so problematic. The audio was presented in a coded 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but the vocals had no separation and limited dynamic range.

Body of Review: Axel Braun is one of those directors in porn that is usually taken for granted, even though he's shot a lot of popular titles for various companies over the years. His latest work is a feature for Sin City titled Orgasmika, billed as a showcase for contract gal Gina Austin, although actually led by Haley Scott and Kris Knight. Here's what the back DVD cover said about the show: " Sin City exclusive super pet Gina Austin stars as a young frigid woman who is unable to satisfy her sex-obsessed husband and his perverted erotic fantasies. With the help of some very naughty friends, she joins a swingers club, where she explores the dark twisted world of no-holes-barred sexual perversion that fills the halls with the moans and screams of total erotic euphoria. From the steaming hot lesbian encounters to the wild animalistic anal orgies, she embarks on a desperate search for the ultimate orgasm. Only after reaching the maximum level of sexual depravation does she resurface as a better woman, a perfect wife, and an insatiable sex machine." Okay, in general terms it was a well made movie for the amount of raw energy it provided but it had some glaring faults too. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Jasmine Byrne, one of the hottest Latinas in porn theses days, was up first with muscular Kris Knight. Seeing as how these two are reportedly getting married, I was glad to see some chemistry between them in the shadowy scene. It took place on a bed at night with the early emphasis being on the vaginal action (though she did suck him off part way through) but the best part of the scene was the energy levels each displayed together, not the lengthy anal or minor foot fetish material. If you like to see sex partners coated in a sheen of sweat, as though they are really boning for pleasure, this scene made the grade. She blew him to an orgasm but little went on her face until she licked it up.

Scene Two: Texas Presley, one of the hottest newcomers of 2005 (and a great representative for the state of Texas), was up next as she gave Jack Lawrence a dominatrix routine with a tremendous amount of tease (and replay value) in her dungeon. She verbally abused him, played with him as though she owned him, and made the most of her extensive time to showcase her darker side. Describing the mechanics of the scene alone can't do the scene justice though since the entire mood was much more encompassing than that so fans of sexual torment will enjoy this one (and it may make a number of converts at the same time). She did blow him for a short time and he did get to go down on her but after the tease footage, the aggressive vaginal riding by Texas was the best thing about the scene. He ended it by rubbing out a load to her chest and I thought it was the best scene thanks in large part to the build up it had. Whew!

Scene Three: Sophia, a curvy blonde with beautiful eyes, was up next in a bordello of sexual debauchery with studly Reno against a green screen. He snacked on her crack and offered up his penis in return. She greedily sucked it as though it contained her lifeline of oxygen or something, bobbing her head up and down rapidly to get him as hard as a rock. She was in good form here as she then bounced up and down on his shaft with a look of pleasure in her eyes, going at it nonstop as he laid back to enjoy the ride. He then switched over to anal; where she let him do most of the work mind you, after which he rubbed out a load onto her breasts while she licked his balls.

Scene Four: Haley Scott, a gal known more for her heated sexual antics than her acting ability, was up next in a dark room with two masked men; Steve French and Chris Charming. Fans of hers will undoubtedly know how skillful she is with a meat pipe, in any hole at that, and this candlelit scene was no exception. While the action lacked the heated foreplay and tease of the scene with Texas, she was fairly enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about taking these two on. They rubbed her, she sucked them off, and they played hide the salami in both her pussy and ass, culminating in a DP before all was said and done. She was not the most active gal of the show during the scene, she was able to convince me that she liked what was going on more than a little bit. It ended with a double facial and was worth a number of looks to me.

Scene Five: Gina Austin, the new contract gal at Sin City shown on the front DVD cover, the sexually aggressive Texas Presley, and Haley Scott, were up next with Kris Knight. Initially Haley, the sexual lead of the movie, sat back and let her two coworkers handle his needs as they double teamed his penis with some drive, but she couldn't refrain from getting some herself and joined them fairly quickly. This led to him taking turns screwing the trio with Gina giving a solid performance for such a beginner in porn. Haley did some anal riding again and ended the scene with some ATM before he jerked out a load to the awaiting ladies who licked his shaft clean but it was not the best scene of the show since none of the ladies seemed particularly enthusiastic.

Summary: Orgasmika didn't look as good as it should have but the ladies were well chosen and the DVD was worth a rating of Recommended for the heated action in several of the scenes. The amount of fuck for the buck was pleasing and even though there was no commentary track as advertised, the extras weren't bad as they added some value to the DVD. Fans of Texas Presley will find this one especially worth checking out and it showed me once again that she's a force to be reckoned with though some of her peers in the show were also doing well here too. Give this one a chance and you'll probably find out the limited amount of plotted dialogue won't get in the way of the sex, so check it out.
