Extras: There was an entire second disc of extras with the movie's disc containing only a trailer for the movie itself. The best extra for me that was directly related to the movie was the 15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature featuring the majority of the cast (particularly Carmen Luvana and Austyn Moore). There was some sex on it and Evan Stone got a chance to lighten up after playing his mostly serious character. Many of you will prefer the bonus scenes from Erotic Intentions with Sondra Hall and Evan Stone screwing or the scene from Fit To Be Tied where Carmen and Tony Tedeschi had some fun, but neither scene was anything particularly good compared to the talent of the players involved. There was a short interview from Strap On Divas lasting about 2 minutes with Carmen talking briefly about the movie (why she didn't have an interview for this movie instead struck me as odd though) and a much longer BTS lasting 16 minutes from University of Austyn where Austyn and company got a chance to discuss that movie. I also liked the 4 minute long Blooper Reel where the cast was shown goofing up lines and playing around as well as having some minor mishaps during their scenes. There were also more trailers, a photogallery, a Free Speech Coalition commercial and some website information for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: The Contractor was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen color 1.85:1 ratio offering as directed by Daniel Dakota for release by Adam & Eve. I liked that it was shot without a lot of goofy slow motion or special effects, using the natural outdoor light as much as possible since it enhanced the look of the performers. There was some minor grain on the indoor scenes but nothing significant to worry about and no video noise to disturb the scenes. The colors were overly saturated in the final scene but my biggest complaint was the rough, sometimes unpolished look of the camera work at times. Some of these bits were just short goofs that should've been edited out and other times they were moments where the composition of the shots weren't as favorable to the ladies as they could have been. In general though, the movie looked pretty good most of the time (it just could have looked that much better). The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English. The vocals seemed to be in monaural with the music having the only separation of the audio portion of the movie (a standard for porn). It sounded okay although the music was sometimes appearing to be influenced by someone that had been drinking heavily. The audio was mostly fine though as the vocals could be heard and the music didn't overwhelm them.

Body of Review: Having watched a lot of high end porn by numerous companies in the past, I tend to favor porn that provides what the advertising suggests and comes across as being fun for the women in it. The technical values of such porn tend to be better than average since they come across as being made for various award shows and conventions (usually the Adult Entertainment Exposition Show if you want to name names). You can find hundreds, if not thousands, of titles made each year that are tossed together as cheaply as possible so the bigger budget stuff tends to get the most attention (and is handled as though it will). Such was the case with Adam & Eve's The Contractor, a title that starred both of the company contract performers, Carmen Luvana and Austyn Moore (though Austyn is reportedly considering leaving the company in coming weeks). Carmen plays the owner of a construction company that uses mostly attractive, lean women like Austyn, and the movie details the troubles they run into when building an upscale house. If you like these two gals, you're not going to find a better flick to watch with them together so here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that few condoms were used:

Scene One: Austyn Moore, the lovely young hotty on the right side of the front DVD cover wearing the bandana, was up first in the bed of a black pick up truck with Seth Dickens by an open field. He went down on her and responded well enough with erect nipples, a slightly flush face and the kind of look you get when someone is feeling good. She responded in kind, playing with his manhood as she sucked the tip and worked his shaft over with his hands. It was obvious that she couldn't handle the whole thing in her mouth but when you're as cute as she is, that fact is less of a problem for you. In all, I thought she was better sexually here than I had seen her in the limited offerings she has been in to date, making it a solid way to open the movie for her fans.

Scene Two: Taryn Thomas, the lean brunette on the upper left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up next on top of a bulldozer with Anthony Hardwood. I found it funny that his voice was dubbed (unintentional humor from the looks of it) but he has proven to be a capable stud so I didn't want to beat him up over it. He went down on her on the industrial sized machine, thankfully in the light of the warm summer day, though the camera angles were limited by the set up. She was over the top in terms of her vocal appreciation but this was another case where her many fans won't care one bit as she seemed to have some chemistry with him. She didn't really start to shine until she blew him though, going all the way down on his shaft with some deepthroat action and working him over with her no-hands style. The two screwed without a condom, with her riding him fairly energetically from the first thrust and doing some PTM (pussy to mouth). It ended in a facial and was too short for my tastes but it was a decent looking scene, if not her most hardcore.

Scene Three: Charmane Star, the Asian gal on the lower left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up next outside the large house with Randy Spears. She was trying to calm him down since he was so upset that the house the ladies were building wouldn't be finished within the next two weeks, a fact that really bugged him as his fiancé would kill them all (including him) since she was expecting it done by the wedding. I'll admit that she had a slightly exotic look and fans of gals that are built for speed over those built for comfort will appreciate her more than I could but she was far too passive for my tastes from the first moment he went down on her until the last drop of splooged came dripping out of his penis. She did blow him but only as though she was hoping to get the scene over with as she seemed distant and unwilling to put any enthusiasm into the action. As they screwed vaginally, she let him do most of the work until she was on top but even then she seemed to be in pain more than anything (I like Barrett just fine but he isn't that big as to cause her pain). In any case, he dropped a load onto her face and that was the end of the filler scene of the bunch.

Scene Five: Carmen Luvana, the lead contract gal of the movie as seen on the middle of the front DVD cover wearing the camouflaged top, cute Austyn Moore, and the mighty Evan Stone, were all up in the final scene where he played a hard ass building inspector (in contrast to his usual over the top, though funny, clown act) making his final rounds on the building. Carmen tried to bribe him into approving the work the gals had done but he was straight-laced about it and acted like she'd be in trouble. Thankfully, he reverted to form and started going down on her more energetically than any of the others had with Carmen doing the same on his rod. She was no stranger to a cock in her mouth and could've taught all of the others a few lessons from the looks of it, at which time Austyn joined them. After some more oral, he screwed both of them (using a condom) with Austyn and he showing even more chemistry than they did when working together in Pirates. Carmen then put on a strap on dildo but didn't use it as much as she could have as Evan was plenty of man for the both of them. It was a pretty decent scene in most ways for an Adam & Eve movie.

Summary: The Contractor had some rough edges but it served as a very nice feature from Adam & Eve with a lot to appreciate. I think it's worth a rating of Recommended but fans of the contract stars involved here should easily consider it as a "must own" since they looked really nice here and did a fine job sexually (especially compared to some of their other work). The plot parts of the movie weren't that obtrusive and the chapter set up allowed for skipping the dialogue if you don't care for it. The extras on the second disc were plentiful and while I would've preferred having more content directly relating to the movie itself, it was still a DVD set with some nice fuck for the buck. Check it out and I think you'll see why fans of couples movies like it so much.
