Extras: The initial extras included on the DVD were the usual five bonus scenes; none of them from previous movies with Briana Banks in them. There was a short biography for Briana Banks too but like most such biographies, it wasn't worth much to me. There was a 5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Mason (which proved Chi Chi wrong when he claimed there was already a lot of BTS footage from the previous two days), a positions room, a series of trailers including titles like The New Devil In Miss Jones, Take My Wife, Janine Been Blackmaled, Nameless, and Spiked; a couple of photogalleries, and some spam for phone sex and Vivid products (as well as the usual double sided DVD cover).

Audio/Video Quality: Time For Briana was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 ratio color presentation as original shot by director Chi Chi LaRue for Vivid Entertainment. The lighting was always pleasing to the eye; limiting the grain and other visual issues I've had in the past with Vivid. They've been actively working on this and everything they've been doing has been appreciated in this regard. The composition of the shots was favorable in most of the scenes too (only the third scene left me cold), leading me to think more care than average was put into the movie. There were no compression artifacts and in all, I liked the visuals a lot. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo sounded like it was shot in monaural and the music had the only separation between the channels. The vocals were somewhat hollow in a few cases but the music was kept low and didn't interfere with them, again making me a happy camper.

Body of Review: Chi Chi LaRue may be gone as a contract director at Vivid but he shot so many movies for them that his titles will likely linger on for months or more. One of his smaller vignette driven titles that just came out, Time For Briana, was primarily a showcase for Briana Banks but also had a lot of others to appreciate too. The rear box cover said it like this: "The big hand is in your pants. Ponder the wonders of time and space as Chi Chi LaRue takes you on an erotic journey into the sexual imaginings of Briana Banks, as she re-lives her torrid sexual past. She remembers her pounding by Erik Everhard as if it were yesterday. The curves of Texas Presley reappear in their pool hall backdrop. And she finished that tryst with Evan Stone just as she wished she would have in real life. And finally, Julian and Lanny Barby make time stand still in the jaw dropping climax!" Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that the men wore condoms but the women were hot enough that I didn't care:

Scene One: Reliving the Past: Briana Banks, the hotty on the front DVD cover, was up first after a stylish montage of time related scenery went by her. She wore a classy gold dress which was soon tossed aside in favor of a weird bit of camouflaged undies when she was set to work with Erik Everhard. Her oral was not like the kind of powerhouse attack he's used to but she sure seemed to savor the taste as though she were enjoying herself. The long strokes, seductive looks, and even spitting as she slobbed his knob made for a good blowjob. He ate her out well enough too, with her telling him just how much she liked the way he handled her. I've both of them bone many times before and this seemed like a compromise between their individual styles; he tapped her pussy harder than most of her recent men have done on screen and she slowed him down just enough to take his edge off. In that sense, I liked it more than if either had done things their usual way. He tapped her ass pretty hard too, hammering away as though he owned it as he slapped her cheeks red. The facial wasn't anything special but I thought it was her best scene in a long time.

Scene Two: Playing Pool: Texas Presley, a curvy hotty from the Lone Star State, was up next with newcomer Johnny Castle by the pool table. For those of you that have missed seeing her in action, suffice it to say that she was another one who turned it down a few notches to give a subdued, though warm, performance. When she pulled her panties away with her mouth and the two of them shared a moment, I thought it looked better than the camera angle used for him going down on her. Still, she gave a fine hummer to him as she knelt before him to work over his meat pipe. This led to a titty fuck and a relatively energetic (but far too short) vaginal screw and pop shot.

Scene Three: A Night with Evan: Briana Banks, this time in a dress that did little to cover her fine physique, was up with the mighty Evan Stone in a comfortable chair next. I was happy that it lasted longer but the camera angles and edits killed much of the heat for me. It ended when Evan rubbed out a load to her face but it was a small load for him.

Scene Four: Dreaming: Nicole Sheridan, one of the nicest ladies in porn and a cutie too, was up next in a scene with Kris Slater and then Voodoo. Lanny's green eyes were so hot and her body was even more impressive as the trio all got some heated play time with her. There was kissing, rubbing, groping, and a host of cocksucking positions by the gals. Each did a fine job though Lanny's lesbian rimming nearly drove me to climax as Briana sucked Julian hard. He was lucky to have two such great lays to screw, giving both of them a real working over. The scene never allowed any of the three to kick back and relax, ending with Briana cumswapping the facial load to Lanny's breasts. The passion wasn't as high as I wished for but the chemistry was definitely there in spades. Whew!

Summary: Time For Briana was a decent showcase for Briana Banks but the scene with Lanny Barby was hot too. In all, the movie was too short for my tastes but had enough fuck for the buck that I felt it warranted a rating of Recommended for fans of Briana and Lanny. The boiler plate extras could've been better and some of the rough edges might've been better if polished up a bit but the quality of Briana's performance was such that I was willing to overlook the problems in favor of the positive attributes the DVD offered up. I was admittedly surprised to find out that Mason was one of the PA's on the set, especially given her usual type of movie, but the highlight of the show this time (besides Lanny of course) was Briana showing me just how solid her performances can be when she wants them to be.
