Extras: For most of you, the best extra will be the bonus scene between Keri Sable and Eric Masterson from Camp Cuddly Pines Powertool Massacre. I described it below and it was well worth watching, even if you've seen it before. I also appreciated the 26.5 minute long All Access: Behind the Scenes of But I'm With The Band by Mark Stone. It was fun, had some extra sex footage, and stands up as a solid production that added value to the DVD release. There were also a number of photogalleries and star statistics, a classy cardboard protective sleeve, two promotional reels, DVD ROM materials like Wicked Awards and Nominations, company profile, casino game, and desktops, a DVD catalog, some spam, and trailers to shows like Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, All About Keri, Sold, Secrets of the Velvet Rings, Road Trixxx 3, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: But I'm With The Band was presented in an excellent 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures. While filmed in high definition, it was down converted to a regular DVD (in the future, the HD version should look even better), so there was some minor grain in some of the scenes where lighting was minimized as part of the scene. The good news is that even in the dark night scenes, the visual elements were well handled, providing a lot more quality than most studios are capable of handling. The video noise was minimal and the composition of the scenes was extremely well taken care of, enhancing the look of the ladies in nearly all cases. The audio was presented with numerous choices, the primary one being a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track that balanced the vocals and music nicely. There were also 2.0 Dolby Digital tracks with Spanish and German available for those who care but the fact is that the dubbing seemed humorous on both of them to me. Otherwise, the audio seemed to be another step forward for Wicked Pictures, even though the vocals were almost certainly recorded in monaural or dubbed in later. Still, the music was well done and the overall quality of the audio was better than average as well. I thought it would've been a cool extra to have a separate CD sampler with the music from the movie, especially given Barrett Blade's background in the field and quality of the songs, but maybe for a follow-up.

Body of Review: Brad Armstrong is better known these days for his work on big budget porn titles like Curse Eternal than anything else but he also makes some very nice smaller budget movies too. One case in point would be the spotlight he put on former contract gal Keri Sable with But I'm With The Band, a classic tale of a slutty groupie wannabe trying to see her favorite rock band and overcoming all sorts of obstacles using her "skills". It was cute with some fun dialogue, decent acting, and appropriately interesting situations and a lot of Keri in view as she sucks and fucks her way through anyone she needs to in order to achieve her goal. Here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used but didn't get in the way:

Scene One: Keri Sable, the lead of the movie playing a band obsessed groupie, was up first as she blew Kris Knight in order to get a ticket to her favorite band (The Wicked Ones). He worked the box office and they were all sold out so she made the kind of deal that makes me want to scalp tickets as a side job. Keri has long been known for her oral skills and this scene was no different as she sucked, jerked, licked and kept eye contact with him to truly "make it worth it" as she stated to him when he handed it over. He finished off by stroking his meat to her face and both walked away contented.

Scene Two: Layla Rivera, a playful little brunette wearing an "I 'Heart' Roadies" shirt, beat out Keri to some backstage access by blowing studly Brad Armstrong at the door to the dressing room. It was a cute tough that I'm sure most people won't notice but Brad's movies are full of them and the truth of the matter is that her oral was sloppier, nastier, and simply better, than Keri's (though I wouldn't kick either out of bed). It was also followed up with some pussy plunging pounding as she kicked back on the equipment boxes, perhaps seeking deeper meaning as a potential piece of "band equipment" herself. Her vocals could've been a bit more enthusiastic and she could've been more active when taking the dick inside her, but her all natural body did finally get into the swing of things when she was on top (with some nice PTM to follow). Brad ended it by rubbing out a load to her mouth and it marked a decent scene.

Scene Three: Kirsten Price, the current contract gal with nicer curves than lesbian scene partner Keri Sable, showed she was talented at cunnilingus in the bathroom stall after complaining about modern rock practices that excluded her from seeing the band backstage. The dialogue was a bit cheesy but fitting and cute, with the gals having some fun with each other. In fairness to Keri, her body shape was more suitable to the cramped stall than the curvier Kristen but I like gals with curves so your mileage may vary as to which of them you like the most. Most of the action was fingering this time, though the purple vibrator came in handy too. It was fun though limited in many ways, fitting in with the theme of the movie more than a little (and Keri's technical DP looked pretty darned hot).

Scene Four: Keri Sable, still looking as fresh as if she just started tramping for the day, devised another plan to see the band by using some clothing worn by Kris Slater (who was playing a T-shirt vendor employee). This entailed getting him out of his clothes so, you guessed it, she climbed over the table to offer him up a tasty treat by way of her pussy to suck. He worked her over almost as nicely as Kirsten did and her vocal moans helped enhance the moment for me a lot. Her deepthroating technique was as good as ever and her oral was once again a very solid affair. This thankfully led to the couple boning in a couple of positions before he tossed a load onto her ass cheeks. She was primarily active during the oral and going through the motions during the vaginal but she did manage to look great throughout the scene.

Scene Five: Jessica Drake, looking as sexy as ever, was up next wearing a skimpy white shirt and muff buffer skirt, along with curvy hotty Sofia Sandobar on back up, and stately Randy Spears as the target of their affection. He played the band's manager, a sleazy sort, who sat back to allow the ladies to show their skills. The way they double teamed his cock orally was great and the knob slobbing was as messy as I've seen in a Wicked Pictures movie in a long time. This led to Jessica getting first dibs on his meat during the vaginal but thankfully, Sofia assisted with some PTOGM and pussy slapping (as well as spitting to keep it lubed up). Jessica was an active ride, using her vocals and kittenish moans to enhance the effort, with Sofia getting some too as Jessica stood above her. Scene Six: Keri Sable, still in her skimpy outfit and itty bitty shorts, was up next in a fantasy sequence where she dreamed of screwing Barrett Blade, Eric Masterson, and Tommy Gunn, one at a time by the equipment on the stage. Tommy got to do her anally but as nice as the individual components of the scene were, the sum of the parts didn't equal those parts (it didn't flow all that well for some reason). The scene was edited into the parts where she was tapping the tambourine and finished with them all spewing on her face at the end but it simply didn't work for me.

Scene Seven: Vivian West, an okay gal when the lights are down low, had a short scene in the audience of the crowd where she blew Rusty Nails to completion as the crowd chanted for the band. It was a filler scene in most ways but added to the fun in the sense that it showed just how depraved the crowd was and how anything goes when Barrett's playing.

Scene Eight: Eva Angelina, a foxy little brunette wearing a fishnet outfit and bikini, Keri Sable, and Barrett Blade, all had the closing scene in the limousine where they played with one another. I know most of you watching the movie will prefer Keri's role in the scene but Eva's skills were substantially better and came across as more natural in terms of milking a nut. The cramped quarters of the setting limited how free they were to do various things, just as it limited the lighting, but I have to hand it to Brad that he made it look like they were driving down the road with the lighting effects (even if the ride was too calm). The gals took turns riding his rod vaginally, with Eva jamming fingers into Keri's ass at one point (and both seeming to enjoy taste testing). The facial closed things out and the story elements were woven nicely together.

Bonus Scene: Camp Cuddly Pines: Keri Sable, looking exceptionally fine in a skimpy dress in a hotel room that was well lit, came off as a slutty babe as she proposed making a porn scene called "Katie's Anal Adventures..In Her Ass" with studly Eric Masterson. This was another opportunity where he got to add in some POV footage and her clueless nature was amusing to say the least. I've never thought of her as the best gal at Wicked Pictures (she's way too skinny for me) but as she gains some experience and adds a few pounds to her curves, I think she's going to work out just fine given the quality of scenes like this one. She gave good head and took his rod vaginally before a technical DP. It ended when she jerked out the last load of the flick onto her face and mouth.

Summary: But I'm With The Band was a nice mixture of sex, hugs, and rock & roll with starlet Keri Sable getting some major screen time before her recent retirement. The themes of a groupie have been addressed elsewhere in the past but Wicked Pictures went all out to make it more believable and still provide the kind of sex you'd imagine would take place around a popular band. The music was top notch and the acting above average but ultimately, the sex was the main reason to enjoy the fun this time but don't miss all the great touches that director Brad Armstrong put into the flick if you like the genre. In short, But I'm With The Band never missed a beat in showcasing some of the finest talent the porn world has to offer up. As such, I thought it was well worth a rating of Recommended and I hope a sequel allows Brad to explore more of the music world in the future.
