Extras: My favorite extras are always those made specifically for the release in hand, not recycled material from elsewhere but I have to admit that the four bonus scenes from Hustler's Centerfold series were pretty sweet with lengthy scenes from volumes 2 through 6 on the DVD. One scene had Monica Sweetheart (with Anthony Hardwood), another had Lanny Barby (with Talon), others had Lexie Marie & Carly Parker, Eva Angelina (with Marco Duato), and the last had Alexis Amore (with Randy Spears). There was also an interesting Behind the Scenes feature lasting about 19 minutes where Hustler contract stars Joey Hart and Memphis Monroe had some ample time to talk with other footage of interest to fans too. There was a photogallery, spam, a cardboard slipcover with a fold out top (which I though was very appealing), and trailers to movies like Whores Don't Wear Panties, Bitches in Heat 2, Fucking in the Name of Science, Riding the Curves, Barely Legal, and Big Fucking Tits.

Audio/Video Quality: Larry's Angels was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Richard Hamilton for Hustler Video. The lighting was solid so the grain was minimal, the video noise nonexistent, and the fleshtones accurate. The composition of the shots always seemed to enhance the look of the cast, men and ladies alike, so this added something to the movie for me. In general, the only use of ultra-stylized crud was at the beginning of some scenes where a montage was used, so it looked pleasing in the rest of the scenes. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but the vocals were monaural and the music showed a mostly generic flavor to the selection each scene offered up.

Body of Review: Richard Hamilton is considered something of a jack of all trades in the porn business but his largest body of work under that name is still at Hustler Video where he makes a couple of series that have gathered some attention. This has led to today's review of Larry's Angels, a showcase piece for Hustler's newest (and only) contract stars, Joey Hart and Memphis Monroe; a couple of very visually appealing young ladies with great bodies. There was no theme to the overall production and here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Memphis Monroe, the hotty on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up first after giving a short interview about herself and status as the new Hustler contract gal. She teased the camera and then the high tech scene reverted to norm with cute Holly Wellin and studly Reno joining her. The ladies double teamed his meaty shaft, getting him all lubed up with their messy ministrations. Memphis got first dibs on climbing aboard the meat missile, actively riding him as though she was into the action inside that fine pussy of hers. Holly did some PTOGM as a means of cleaning the dick off with her mouth, soon getting anally hammered by the same dick she so nicely cleaned off. The scene ended when he jerked off to both of their faces, with some licking of their faces by the gals to finish up.

Scene Two: Joey Hart, the hotty on the right hand side of the front DVD cover (having performed under another name previously), was up next as she got a little montage action and did some tease before working a scene with Jerry on a different new age set. He snacked on her crack and she gave him a slow, seductive blowjob in return, before the vaginal sex took place. She wasn't as active as I like my performers to be but she was no dead fish either. They did several positions before he came on her chest, showing that she has a lot of largely untapped potential to explore. She has a look that will appeal to many fans and her sex drive has yet to be fully realized so I'll be keeping an eye out on her for better work in the near future.

Scene Three: Paris Dahl, another moderately attractive gal, was up next in a heated lesbian scene with Joey Hart (who was looking even better than last time). The setting was a blood red modernistic public bathroom and each took ample time to tease each other, by rubbing, stroking, and even spanking each other along with the usual licking that lesbian scenes are known for. They also used vibrators and the high chairs to allow for easier access of each other but as much as I thought they had some limited amount of fun, the scene was pretty basic all around.

Scene Four: Memphis Monroe, again looking very fine, was up next in stripper shoes as well as a pink & black stripper outfit. The droning music of the opening montage was lame but the cuteness factor was once again very high as Kris Knight did her in a simulated ice cream parlor. He spent some time warming her up and she seemed to enjoy him taking his time doing so as he kissed, rubbed and stroked her body. She then dropped to her knees to suck his rod, showing the kind of skill that gets a guy wanting to "fuck her mouth" as she put it. They screwed vaginally and she was more active right away this time as they shared several positions before the load went to her face. I loved watching her breasts sway with the pounding she took, serving this one up as a very warm scene with lots of chemistry.

Scene Five: Joey Hart, looking even better this time in some sweet lingerie and her pretty eyes enhancing the action as she worked with the boy wonder, Jean Val Jean, on the set of a fashion shoot. They followed the same formula, with him coyly warming her up before she inhaled his cock into her awaiting mouth. The ladies of the Playgirl Posse will be happy to see Jean looking especially buff and sweaty as she sucked his manhood dry, with the guys happy that she perked up this time to be an even more active cock rider. She was a bit over the top with her vocals but otherwise, she improved substantially in terms of her performance by this scene (and having three scenes in a movie is pretty cool for fans). It ended with a facial and while she closed her eyes, she didn't shy away from sucking him off a little afterwards.

Summary: Larry's Angels was a somewhat mixed bag of tricks but I think the appeal of the two leads, the solid extras, and the entire DVD package should be taken as a whole and rated as Recommended. I might be a bit generous this time but the fact of the matter is that the two showcased contract performers of the movie share an awful lot of potential given their looks, accents, and energetic little hardbodies. For the kind of fuck for the buck they offered up, I think the rating was fair, although I'd like to see them increase their energy and chemistry more in the future.
