Extras: For most of you, the best extra will be the bonus scene between Kirsten Price and Keri Sable from But I'm With The Band. I described it below and it was well worth watching, even if you've seen it before, but I still prefer extras that are new and exclusively created for the movie in hand. I think my favorite extra though was the director's commentary by Brad Armstrong and Kirsten Price. What better way to discover insights into what took place along with the benefit of hindsight than such a commentary (it doesn't hurt that Brad knows his stuff)? I also appreciated the 19 minute long Behind the Scenes of Country Style by "Sir Blursalot & Shakey Stan" (obviously a joke regarding how much movement there was during parts of the feature) according to the ending BTS credits and Red Ezra according to the credits at the end of the movie. It was fun, had some extra sex footage, and stands up as a solid production that added value to the DVD release. There were also a number of photogalleries and star statistics, a classy cardboard protective sleeve, two promotional reels, DVD ROM materials like Wicked Awards and Nominations, company profile, casino game, and desktops, a DVD catalog, some spam, and trailers to shows like Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, All About Keri, Sold, Secrets of the Velvet Rings, Road Trixxx 3, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Country Style was presented in an excellent 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Brad Armstrong for release by Wicked Pictures. The lighting was handled well and that limited the grain, video noise, and other visual aspects of the scenes though it was designed largely with a couples audience in mind by the looks of it. The composition of the shots reminded me that Francois Clousot had a hand in it (a good thing although he's not as skillful as Brad) and the ladies were all looking enhanced due to the way the movie was shot by his capable hands. The audio was presented with numerous choices, the primary one being a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track that balanced the vocals and music nicely. There were also 2.0 Dolby Digital tracks with Spanish and German available for those who care but the fact is that the dubbing seemed humorous on both of them to me. Otherwise, the audio seemed to be another step forward for Wicked Pictures, even though the vocals were almost certainly recorded in monaural or dubbed in later. Still, the music was well done and the overall quality of the audio was better than average as well.

Body of Review: Brad Armstrong is best known these days as the talented lead contract director at Wicked Pictures although he was once best known as Mr. Jenna Jameson. While Brad excels at the bigger budget flicks like Curse Eternal, he also manages to showcase the ladies nicely in his smaller efforts too, such being the case with his latest title; Country Style. The movie was a series of vignettes, all centering on a country western theme, showing starlet Kirsten Price in what is being advertised as her first starring role. That said, here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were present but the ladies were all attractive enough to distract me from looking too hard for them:

Scene One: Kirsten Price, the hotty on the front DVD cover, in her debut starring role for Wicked Pictures, played a grease monkey flunky at a little place in the sticks. The blue jean overalls, cap, and dirt didn't detract from her appealing, all natural, physical attributes to real life hubby Barrett Blade. He went back into the office with him and the two kissed passionately as they pulled each other's clothes of slowly. She dropped to her knees and blew him with some measured skill, jerking him off in between her inhalation techniques. He seemed to enjoy the act and was soon plugging away at her pussy with an obvious condom on the counter. Why he didn't sample her tasty pussy is outside my understanding but it was a decent bout of boning to enjoy, especially when she got on top for the most active part of the scene. Scene Two: Alexis Malone, a cute bleach blonde with an all natural body and award winning smile, was up next as she wore a waitress outfit outside the country diner. After some minor tease, she went inside to serve truck driver Talon; a guy that looks as much like his role as I look like a porn star. It was slow and sensuous as the couple seemed to enjoy the foreplay a lot, Talon moving from kissing her mouth to her breasts and parts below. She reciprocated with a solid blowjob, his rod larger than Barrett's by the looks of it. She took a teasing approach to the oral, using her mouth and tongue more than her hand. This was going to be her last boy/girl scene before retiring but she came back, a testament to her staying power as a performer. The condom was a closer match to his rod so it didn't stand out as much, though her ride wasn't overly active until the cowgirl position, weakening the replay value for me. It also seemed like a short scene, ending with the usual facial. It was another scene worth watching but it wasn't as solid for replay value considering the limitations of the scene.

Scene Three: Kirsten Price, dressed up in modified country western gear, was up in a lesbian scene next with a similarly dressed Lexxi Tyler; known for having some might big "BT's" as Kirsten put it in the commentary track. Lexxi was the initial giver of head, fingering Kirsten as she sucked on her pussy. The use of the spur seemed awkward as it was run along the pussy but the visual appeal of the ladies was undeniably strong. For her part, Kirsten seemed at least as enthusiastic at sampling Lexxi's box, even taking off her hat in order to gain better access. The rest of the scene had the duo going back and forth with one another orally and with fingers, making for a scene lesbian lovers will think is full of replay value.

Scene Four: Kirsten Price, this time playing a coal miner, complete with the messy dust all over her body, was up next with Chris Cannon, also playing a miner. They started with some tease and then foreplay outside of the mining shaft, as he tasted her all over (the commentary explained that the dirt look was partially accomplished with chocolate). She returned the favor by blowing him soundly, showing some of the skills she picked up over the years, working him deeply with mouth and hand to get him rock hard. This was also the scene with her most active screwing as she rode him pretty hard (and definitely aggressively as she bounced on his lap). She was most into the action when she was on top but the other positions looked good too and it ended with another facial. Fans of hers will appreciate how much extra dirty talk she provided and this was another scene full of replay value.

Scene Five: Brooke, a major cutie with poorly bleached hair, was up next as she took care of her laundry chores on the clothesline when partner Joey Ray came up behind her to remind her of her other shores in need of doing. The shack in the middle of nowhere was visually interesting and she took plenty of time teasing him before truly slobbing his knob. It was a solid bit of oral by her even if it was over too soon, followed by the vaginal fuck fest as he rode her hard and deep. He did most of the work in the penetrative parts of the scene so I really wasn't too into the poking here but she did look good and fans will appreciate the ending facial.

Scene Six: Kirsten Price and Michelle B, both dressed up for a night at the honky tonk bar, were shown as fans of singer Brad Armstrong; the lead of the C&W band. Whether or not his voice was overly processed, he played the role better than almost anyone I've seen in porn and the music video aspect of the scene was a lot of fun. Maybe Brad missed his calling? In any case, the ladies waited for the bar to close at which time they engaged in some lesbian antics while Brad felt them up. He then joined them completely with the gals giving and receiving oral before they each rode his cock vaginally. It wasn't the most active ride but the way the gals looked largely made up for it. They ended with a cumswapping finish, making it a fun show to enjoy.

Bonus Scene: But I'm With The Band: "Kirsten Price, the current contract gal with nicer curves than lesbian scene partner Keri Sable, showed she was talented at cunnilingus in the bathroom stall after complaining about modern rock practices that excluded her from seeing the band backstage. The dialogue was a bit cheesy but fitting and cute, with the gals having some fun with each other. In fairness to Keri, her body shape was more suitable to the cramped stall than the curvier Kristen but I like gals with curves so your mileage may vary as to which of them you like the most. Most of the action was fingering this time, though the purple vibrator came in handy too. It was fun though limited in many ways, fitting in with the theme of the movie more than a little (and Keri's technical DP looked pretty darned hot)."

Summary: Country Style is a movie that you'll either like or hate based on what you want in a porno. The sex was tamer than the industry dominating gonzo hardcore but this is far more likely to appeal to couples and ladies as the women are given a lot of attention during the scenes in order to make sure they get off. Kirsten Price is the driving reason to pick up the movie since she was in most of the scenes and her fans will think of this one as at least a Recommended while those who aren't into her (usually referring to gay males) might want to pass. The levels of fuck for the buck could've used some work but the technical aspects, extras, and cast, all managed to boost it up enough for me to truly appreciate as having replay value, so give it a look to see what I mean.
