While an increasing number of others are claiming to shoot in HD now, the simple fact is that they're mostly well behind the curve since they started so late in the game, further elevating the likely quality of Digital Playground's upcoming high definition releases by comparison (especially in porn, the HD format is quite unforgiving). Okay, the lighting here was once again solid yet basic, providing the means by which the fleshtones were accurate, the grain minimal, and the video noise nonexistent. The composition of the shots here was a point of view (POV) style, though unlike most in the industry, Robby himself did not partake of the action so that makes it more difficult to get right (although it does tend to lower the amount of camera shake compared to the others since they have gals bouncing on their cocks) with the meat puppets standing between him and his goal. In all though, he did a fine job of getting them looking their best with minimal male facial shots to distract the viewer from the illusion that they are the one getting the hotty, surpassing his initial effort in the series (Jack's POV) by more than a little bit. Body of Review: Robby D., contract director extraordinaire for Digital Playground, has won all sorts of awards in recent years and even found himself featured as the spotlight director in the 2005 Top Porn List here at DVD Talk. That said, his career has been keeping him busy and his attempts to show more of the point of view action he's been experimenting with are the focus of today's review of Jack's POV 2, the sequel to the really well received Jack's POV 1. The point of view craze is perhaps best explained as an attempt to allow the home viewer to project themselves into the action of the moment, with minimal interruption. This helps with the fantasy and serves as an updated version of the successful Virtual Sex Series for them, providing more replay value as a result in most cases. The selection of ladies this time provided plenty of diversity as well without the need to rely on contract stars (though I always like seeing them too) to propel the scenes. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes from the show, noting that no condoms were used by the men and the POV camerawork was handled very nicely:

As such, I rated this one as Recommended, and think many of you that are fans of the ladies in the cast will likely think it worth even more (it came seriously close to the next level for me and I only truly slaver over one of the gals here). In short, Jack's POV 2 was the kind of POV porn that most fans wish all the companies made for the level of technical expertise and sexual skill shown throughout the scenes.
