Extras: Most of you will likely prefer the five bonus scenes (this was yet another case where none of them had the lead star, Lexie Marie. My favorite extra designed for the DVD itself was the 13 minute long Behind the Scenes feature credited to Ben Hoffman. There were two photogalleries (one starring Lexie Marie), a short text biography of Lexie Marie, a positions room, trailers for movies like Auditioning, Time For Briana, The New Devil In Miss Jones, $2 Bill, ECU: Lexie and Where the Boys Aren't 17, some advertisements (that can be skipped at the front of the DVD: thanks to Vivid for listening to our pleas), and a true double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Invasion of the Porno Shooters was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment. There wasn't a lot of grain this time, partially due to the lighting and partially due to the way that Paul went for something other than his usual "film look". Some of the camera work was spotty since the movement was way too obvious and the handheld lighting caused a few too many issues (parts of the scene were either too dark or too light, depending on location). The video noise was obtrusive some of the time and this was definitely not his best looking title of late. There were no compression artifacts though but the composition of the shots was mixed in terms of making the gals look their best. The 2.0 Dolby Digital audio track was hollow with no separation between the channels but I could hear the vocals well enough to know what they were saying. The music ranged from decent to dreadful, cutting out midway through scenes but sounding like low budget porn music nonetheless.

Body of Review: Paul Thomas is known as much for his multitude of smaller titles as his blockbuster hits that win scores of awards. His latest is called Invasion of the Porno Shooters; a feature where a porn crew rents a house only to have the family staying there interfere by fucking the cast and crew members. It was a cute premise that has been done many times before and the back cover said: "They came, they shot, they conquered! They were the perfect family until the cameras moved in. They were a regular Leave It To Beaver household, until a porno crew rented their place and the Beaver took over! Sure dad went off to work. And mom did her errands. Sure Sis and Bud went off to school. But somehow they all managed to sneak back in and make the scene with a pornstar when the cameras weren't looking! Chuck Lords presents hot homewrecker Lexie Marie in Vivid's hilarious new comedy Invasion of the Porno Shooters. It's what happens when the living room becomes the rimming room and pantry fills with panties! Look out. They're tea-bagging on the tabletop!" Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that while condoms were used, they didn't get in the way of the fun between the cast:

Scene One: Good Enough To Eat: Lexie Marie, the incredibly sexy contract star featured on the front DVD cover, was up first in a scene with a relatively new guy, the tattooed Derrick Pierce, in the bathroom. He helped clean her out and then warm her up for her scene with a little oral loving. She reciprocated with a solid blowjob, handled in an almost POV fashion at one point, leading to a straight forward screw on the bed. She actively pumped up and down on his rod before he rubbed out a huge load on her ass cheeks after Shylar interrupted them.

Scene Two: Civilian Sex: TJ Hart, playing the mother (she's not old enough) of the household, was up next with Talon outside. He inhaled his meat pipe with the kind of enthusiasm that led me to appreciating her work for years, leading him to go down on her and then screw her like a happy little bunny. She was even more enthusiastic than Lexie was with the natural lighting enhancing her look more than a little bit before he rubbed out his load to her lower abdomen. It was a small load but he's been working a lot lately and I think the Shylar interruption would've worked better if he did her too.

Scene Three: Pussylight Demo: Sativa Rose, playing the beautiful and inquisitive daughter, bugged Chris Charming to show her how proper lighting makes for better porn. Without going on a tear here, I wish he had consulted some of the directors I've watched recently, including the one making this movie (at least he has a sense of humor about it). After Sativa's character seduced Chris, she started playfully sucking him off on the living room couch, working his shaft with her hand as he diddled her pussy from behind. As much as I like the other ladies of the cast, Sativa brings about the combination of youth, energy, and near perfect body that causes fans like me to search her out. He gave some oral in return but it took her awhile to get active during the penetration, still looking fine as her cheeks bounced up and down during the vaginal romp. It ended with an abdomen launch and Shylar getting in their faces but they did show some nice chemistry together.

Scene Four: Lip Gloss: Harmony, a cute gal with light hair and nice curves, played the make up artist who showed Alberto Rey, playing the head of the household, how to make a mess with lipstick. The garish application of it was of less interest to me then her dirty talk and teasing skills, but as little as both of them went down on each other, the pounding vaginal screw was pretty hot. It ended with a facial but I was pleased by the relative balance of the scene with the exception of the limited oral.

Scene Five: The Star Fucks: Lexie Marie, after getting the cover shot done, was on the couch with Marcos Leon for the only scene that thematically involved the actual porno being made. As such, it seemed almost designed to come across as more professional with the type of mechanical precision director Thomas is known for. While I didn't think the two had a whole lot of chemistry as shot, she gave a decent performance and was looking as good as fans will expect. The end of the music was a good thing except that the penetrative sex stopped midway through, only to be picked up "two weeks later" on the bed with a lot more oral this time. I'll admit that the second round looked better during the oral but the rest of it showed her to be too passive and even his larger pop shot couldn't save it for me at that point.

Summary: Invasion of the Porno Shooters had numerous little flaws to distract (like the credits for the ladies getting a false start, shadows of people in the background when the couples were supposed to be alone, and the like) but none of those really lowered the value of the action for me. For me, the limitations were probably best displayed by watching the BTS feature; it had a lot more humor and appeal (by far) with some replay value ("Hung like a lightswitch"?!? That was great!). The ladies were all attractive and fans of Lexie Marie will want to pick up a copy of the movie because she was looking very fine here but unless you're into the kind of shorter scenes this one had, it will merit a rating of Rent It for you. Whoever was in charge of editing the BTS feature might want to try directing a couple of flicks if he/she can project the level of playfulness during the sex scenes like they did there, I'd just ask that the sex scenes were longer with more build up to address a wider audience in the future. The ladies were some of my favorites and the concept was okay, making this feature one that Vivid might get some mileage out of.
