Audio/Video Quality: Young Models was shot in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jordan for distribution by Xcartel. The lighting of the sex scenes was ample, causing little grain or video noise (even though the outdoor lighting was much better). The idea of Pro-Am porn always gives me a mixed reaction since I see little of it that convinces me the players are either (professionally talented or amateurishly fresh) and this one at least looked better than average to me. The composition of the shots looked like one guy with a camera did all the work and did not enhance the look of the women in any meaningful manner, sometimes making them look kind of bad in fact. There weren't any compression artifacts or other problems with the transfer but it was a decidedly mixed bag of tricks for me to review. The audio was presented in Dolby Digital stereo English but it was nothing special in terms of vocals or music.

Body of Review: As a highly productive porn reviewer, I am always actively looking for new titles to check out; hoping to find something interesting to watch that doesn't rely on my personal taste in a particular woman or sex act. One of the genres that has least interested me in the last twenty years has been the so-called Pro-Am genre where people of supposedly limited experience screw on camera as though they were clueless about what they were doing. Such was the case with my first Xcartel title of the week, Young Models, shot by a director named Jordan with a number of third tier performers on hand to provide the action. Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that only one condom was used and the formula was followed in all cases:

Scene One: Veronika, a gal with a nice tan smoking a cigarette, was approached in the park by Justin to start out the movie. He came across as an obnoxious car salesman type, offering her $500 for a modeling job. The scene picked back up on the couch inside where he starts taking off her clothes to reveal an all natural body that he couldn't resist. To me, she looked like a stripper but played the role of college student needing cash as well as most professionals in the industry tend to, putting on airs that she was shy as he continued to disrobe her. She had a nice body and he gave her some oral service before she gave his modest member a slow blowjob. Her oral skills lacked the polish of most porn performers but she was certainly no stranger to a stranger's cock in her mouth by the looks of it. She wasn't a bad ride when on top although the other positions showed her to be too passive for my tastes. It wasn't a bad scene to start off with, although fans of the genre will be the ones most appreciative of the effort here, with a weak pop shot to close it out.

Scene Two: Brittany James, a tiny gal that looked like she was about 13 years old as she walked down the sidewalk, proved to look older as she gave Lance Banger an interview as he propositioned her for a modeling job. This time, they went back to the bedroom where the same basic formula was followed. She wanted to make money and they wanted to pay her so it worked out rather well. I wasn't keen on her boyish body (she claimed to weigh 95 pounds) and the shy act would've worked better if she were more believable at it, but it had the appearance of a decent Pro-Am scene in terms of the sex involved (check out any of the Ed Powers releases and you'll see what I mean by comparison). Ladies in the audience will appreciate that he had a larger penis than Justin, though that might've been simply an appearance thing since she was so small. They both gave each other head and then she passively allowed him to screw her pussy with a condom before rubbing out a small load to her face.

Scene Three: Sabrina, another gal with a boyish body (as seen on the right hand side of the front DVD cover), wore a Bubble's car wash t-shirt and was getting evicted; making her an easy mark for Lucky, a geeky guy looking to score a gal for a porno. They went back to the living room couch after meeting on the public bench, acting like old friends (I'd bet they were real life partners at the time the scene was shot) as they kissed, sucked, and then fucked in front of the camera. She didn't seem to know much about sucking cock but she was actively riding it in no time, following the formula with the ending facial as well. He let loose a decent sized load and it was an okay scene.

Scene Four: Megan Jones, the hotty on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was scammed next by Jason after he approached her sitting on some steps outside. They ended up on the bed and she was far cuter than he would be considered; my favorite part being that she actually had some decent curved on her (she was still lean but not boyish like the last two gals). Her sex skills seemed more polished up too as she sucked him off slowly and then rode his cock like a girlfriend trying to please her partner. She was a lazy fuck in most of the positions of penetrative sex. With some work and a better partner, she could be well worth looking for, taking the facial well enough but never coming close to reaching her potential.

Scene Five: Kylie, a bleach blonde with an attitude, was pissed off at her roommate and ended up listening to sleazy Steve (the oldest guy in the movie) near the beach as he convinced her that his modeling plan would be a great way to make dough. She was cute with pretty eyes, giving me the impression she too was a stripper in need of cash. The formula was the same as the other scenes and she seemed a bit more active than most of the gals as she sucked and fucked him so fans of this kind of show at least had some replay value thanks to her presence in the movie. It ended as expected, with a tiny load dripping out of his small cock, closing out the movie.

Summary: Young Models was not the worst offering in the Pro-Am genre that I've seen in recent years since the cast didn't appear to have a lot of work under their collective belts and the lack of heat, chemistry, and passion were underscored by the newness factor of the cast. If this is your genre of choice, I'm sure you'll like it more than I did when I decided to rate it as a Rent It, though the amount of fuck for the buck wasn't too bad for a start up company. If you like seeing new performers, by all means check it out but there really wasn't all that much to enjoy here so take my advice with a grain of salt.
