Extras: The best extra was the 12 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jim Orlando. It showed some of the cast but spent the majority of time on Nikki. I like Nikki but I still wish the others would have had more footage (some were given none in fact). There was also a photogallery and some trailers to shows like Psychotic but that's all there was.

Audio/Video Quality: Ravenous was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Nikki Hunter for Anarchy Films. The emphasis this time was again on mood lighting and smoke rather than a crystal clear picture but it looked pretty clear just the same. There was some minor grain and pattern noise but nothing that got in the way of the sexuality on display in the movie. The fleshtones were accurate, the composition of the scenes often very nicely handled, and the visuals could truly be said to have conveyed the sense of depravity Nikki offered up. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English. There didn't seem to be any separation between the channels and the dynamic range was limited but the moody music and passionate vocals all seemed to work well with the visuals. In general, the technical attributes were edgy to the point that they achieved what they were going for, even if they weren't technically polished and perfect.

Body of Review: Nikki Hunter is one of the ladies of porn that tends to be reliably into the action unless specifically held back by a director so it makes sense that I enjoy seeing the times when she directs her own work, eliminating any filters or limits imposed by others on her sexually depraved nature. Her latest movie as a director and performer is Ravenous, where the back cover said: "Cum with me, I only wish to feed on your desire. I, Nicki Hunter, and my band of sirens will entice you into the fucking frenzy where anal, double anal, and double penetrations are the only acts that I will indulge. We beg to be fucked hard and will seduce all your senses, toying with the possibility of appeasing ourselves, only to find that we are completely insatiable. Beware, or you will find yourself among the completely Ravenous." Like her last flick, Psychotic, she seemed to be a force of nature with a group of likeminded ladies doing their best to keep up with her in their respective scenes. Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that the men weren't credited (I knew most of them) and no condoms were used:

Scene One: Tory Lane, a curvy gal with dark hair and a nasty sexual appetite, was up first as she was dominated by the director (and featured cover gal-kneeling on the cover), Nikki Hunter, in a stylish B&W opener that soon led to the massive Lee Stone taking on both of them in the alleyway. He was made up to look like a stooge (or even a henchman from an old Underdog cartoon) with Nikki clearly dominating the entire scene. Tory's chain metal outfit looked great on her though Nikki's was more suitable slutware for a night on the town. Lee had to wear leather pants with Nikki slobbing his knob as Tory was forced to watch. The sexual chemistry was overpowered by the raw energy the ladies displayed, each getting ample time to work him over orally and vaginally during the scene. Both gals did some heated anal too with the kind of nasty passion (at times over the top) that encouraged me to enjoy the action knowing how much replay they had. There was some limited toy use and lots of taste testing but ultimately, as a performance, the trio was on fire. It even ended with a facial and cumswapping, Nikki calming down once satiated for the moment.

Scene Two: Aurora Snow, the popular anal queen, was looking great in her new long tresses of hair as she rolled around the candle lit floor of a smoky set. The body paint and minimal fishnet stockings enhanced the intelligent hotty and she showed significant chemistry with real life partner Jay Ashley after some substantial tease. Her kittenish vocals and playful manner have long served her (and the porn world, including fans) well to keep her act fresh compared to the all too mechanical gyrations of her peers; with the oral noisy and sloppy as expected too. When Aurora is hitting on all twelve cylinders, she's a great performer and such was the case here. The active ride in all three holes (again, with PTM and ATM) would only have been better if Jay had kept quiet but fans of gapes will also have a large one to appreciate from her (I'm not into them but her size and hang time were more than usual). Her dirty talk enhanced it for me too, ending in the facial pop that she took most willingly.

Scene Three: Trina Michaels, the gal laying down on the front DVD cover with the large augmentations, was up next as she kicked back on the couch to be toyed with by Nikki (brandishing a moderate sized python, or was it a boa constrictor, slithering about). Nikki left her after a kiss, leaving her to studly John West and wimpy Donnie Long, to work over. She sucked them off nearly as enthusiastically as Nikki would have done (though nobody is as good as Nikki when it comes to a nasty way of handling cock) and this led to them poking and prodding her holes like madmen soon afterwards. The BTS comments had Nikki saying this was the last scene shot for the movie but it did not lack anything in terms of energy as a result, though the chemistry between the trio was mixed (it was a tough call but she seemed to prefer John a lot more). I would have liked more titty fucking and the DAP (double anal penetration) was too much like a sexual Olympics act for my taste but she seemed to really like semen covering her face and the scene had replay value.

Scene Four: Mika Tan, playing a geisha role of sorts, was up next with Andrew Andretti. The music was slow and reserved, displaying none of the cheese of the other selections, with Nikki starting off the scene by kissing the duo. Mika was idolized and given the chance to feed on Andrew, taking him on the couch as though he were prey to be conquered rather than a partner to share some fun with. I'd say she was supposed to be a succubus except the only sucking going on was her sucking his dick for a moment before impaling her pussy on top of it. She loudly, and proudly, rode the cock like rarely before (I've seen her in a lot of mediocre scenes in the past so whatever it was that Nikki did to get this action out of her, I wish she would share it with the rest of the world). There was some foot fetish action and she was nearly as aggressive in her ass as the two got all hot and sweaty. The end was not the same as expected with him popping his load into a large bucket; Mika licking it up as she poured it out on her mouth and face (it looked watered down though).

Scene Five: Nikki Hunter, the twisted lead of the show and director on top of that, was up last as she worked her way out of a saran wrap cocoon as if being reborn. She teased the camera with a mixture of oil and sweat covering her curvy figure, playing with toys and shown in an early montage before getting to play with Seth Dickens and Jenner. To say she was practically engulfing them on several levels would not be going far enough as she worked them over orally in as messy a scene as I've ever watched from her. The minimalist setting kept the focus directly on her, and her claims to "love cock" were more believable than you'd expect from a typical porn scene, noting that Nikki is anything but a "typical" performer. The throatfucking gave way to the guys screwing her holes, including a lot of anal and some DP work. If you like the over the top style of Nikki, you'll be a believer that she came at least a couple of times, but it was a great way to end the movie with her taking their loads like a ravenous banshee.

Summary: Ravenous was director Nikki Hunter's second movie and it was just as powerful as the first (Psychotic), earning a rating of Highly Recommended. The extras were light but the movie itself had a lot of fuck for the buck, quantity, and the quality of sexual performances by a cast of very skilled lades was great. The replay factor of the scenes will truly appeal to those with sick, twisted minds, working for those of us who are jaded and numb to jump start our libidos. In short, Ravenous was extremely heated and I can see why the XRCO named her as performer of the year; shooting for quality over popularity in one of the better recent calls. Check out the movie and you'll see why I liked it so much, even if it did invoke some visions of alt-porn at times.
