Audio/Video Quality: Hellcats 10 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Joey Silvera for Evil Angel. One of the problems with some of Joey's works in the past has been various technical limitations like lots of grain, video noise, poor camera angles, and compression artifacts but thankfully, those weren't a big issue here. There was some grain due to some of the lighting being off and some video noise in a few spots but the compression artifacts were rare and even some of the flesh tones looked more accurate than usual. The composition of the shots was not all that flattering to the women in most cases, showing Joey still has some blind spots when it comes to directing certain ladies. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but there wasn't any significant dynamic range or separation between the channels. The voices were sometimes hollow but like seeing the occasional shadow in the movie, this is to be expected in order to preserve the nearly realistic manner in which the scenes took place.

Body of Review: Joey Silvera is the most versatile director in the Evil Angel stable but that doesn't mean every release of his is a hit. Granted, if you like tranny sex, femdom material, or other weird kinks, he's the man to go to but in terms of the gonzo scenes so in favor these days, he either hits hard or falls short with the latest edition of the popular series, Hellcats 10: Cumback!, proving my point easily. The idea of the show is to showcase female performers that are supposedly into the action. Given the number of quality hits in the series, I could almost bank on the quality here but found out soon enough that something went wrong. The sex was decent in some cases and weak in others, thematically displayed on the DVD itself with some flaws in the technical areas and lack of extras too. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Aurora Snow, the cutie on the lower right hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up first as she had car troubles and ended up in a garage to get it fixed. The mechanics treated her like shit with Jay Ashley and Jenner playing the obnoxious cads. She flashed them and they got irate, slamming dicks in her mouth and verbally abusing her rather than tend to their trade. The men then took turns at each end, with her real life partner Jay seeming to go over the top in the role of idiot and Jenner as the follower of the pack. The tight area where they were screwing did not allow a lot of movement and the action suffered as a result but not so much as the thematic crap lowered the value. I hated how Jay simply could not shut up and Jenner followed his lead down the spiraling rabbit trail, limiting even the heat of the anal that she seemed to actively enjoy doing. Aurora did no wrong here but the set up showed me why she should leave Jay at home to screw rather than let him ride her coattails this long (or at least restrict him to working with other ladies). It was an okay scene to begin the lengthy movie with but a waste of Aurora's talents since I've seen her tear up the small screen much better than this in the recent past.

Scene Two: Kelsey Michaels, the cute brunette seen on the upper left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next as she teased the camera in the driveway with plenty of clothes on. Her partners were the current prince of porn himself, Erik Everhard, along with Rick Masters, and John West. Fans of all natural bodies may appreciate her youthful look more than I did (she's a cutie but needed a tan and some toning) and Erik did first honors by going down on her ass in the driveway with the others joining the couple to go inside before getting too into the action. The men did most of the work but she seemed to appreciate giving them head and letting them poke her pussy fairly hard. Once she warmed up, she was more active at riding them but this scene really lacked any spark for me and proved to be for her fans more than anyone else. It ended when they jerked off to her face and chest, but her disposition for the action seemed somehow truncated (did she want to be there or not came to mind) and weakened the action as a result.

Scene Three: Dana Vespoli and Mika Tan, the two ladies in the upper right hand corner of the front DVD cover, were up next in a teaching situation with Mika as a teacher by a blackboard giving her new pal a lesson in discipline. Dana seemed out of it but her exotic look was still appealing in a MILF sense and there are worse pairings in porn that I could have watched after some of the stuff in my review pile of late. The ladies were joined by Chris Charming and after the wooden dialogue; he seemed the perfect thematic male lead given his style of sexual activity (mechanical pumping). Dana's ass looked great though and Mika had some great fetishware to accentuate her body so I overlooked the lame beginning material in favor of the sex. The oral was good and the ladies both did anal with ATM/ATOGM with some degree of active participation. In that sense, once the fast forward fodder was over, the dirty talk and sex proved to be superior to the previous two scenes (even with the mike noise getting in the way). The gals shared some chemistry and if Joey had skipped the weirdness at the beginning, I'd have enjoyed it even more.

Scene Four: Naomi, the gal with the bubble butt seen on the lower left hand corner of the front DVD cover, was up next inside as she teased the camera with her genetic gifts. Her makeup looked like crap but that tanned ass of hers was sweet and I was hoping this would be one of her better scenes to enjoy. The exercise machine gave her a solid way to show off her ass even more as mope squad members Barry Scott and Rick Masters felt her up. Barry got her to sit on his face and she sucked off Rick with a degree of skill. Her sexual talents have been spotty since she began in the industry but getting better with experience; this scene being no different. Her ability to bump and grind on cock, both in vaginal as well as anal, showed some marked improvement and I'm glad I stuck with her weaker scenes of the past to get this one (she's done some fine scenes too of course but the industry has a way of pushing people beyond their comfort zone). In a few ways, this was the best scene of the day, ending when she jerked out semen from the mopes with a couple of handjobs. Whew!

Scene Five: Melissa Lauren and Gianna Lynn, the gals on the bottom of the front cover in the middle, were up next in a scene that saw Melissa sporting a big green strap on dildo. Both gals have a certain appeal and Melissa's dominant routine was a stretch for me but Gianna was cute enough to wait it out and see what would happen. The oral on the dildo was weak but fans of light domination and role playing will likely find a fair amount to appreciate here as the gals took to their roles like fish to water. They were joined by the mope squad trio of Arnold Schwartzenpecker, Barry Scott, and Rick Masters after some suitable warm up and Gianna did better with real dick in her than fake cock. Melissa did some of her over the top anal to enhance the scene; resulting in too much of a distraction for me to appreciate. It seemed like the scene was poorly planned and someone wanted it to be too many things to too many people, resulting in a very mixed bag of tricks to enjoy. I thought there was some limited replay value for the scene but nothing truly exceptional in most ways.

Scene Six: Sierra Sin, the skinny gal beside Kelsey on the upper middle of the front cover, was up last with dark muscle man Rico Strong playing an electrician fixing up her junction box. He ended up responding to fixing her other box after she started hitting on him and his breasts were bigger than hers. Let me say up front that I've not been a big fan of hers since she has nothing physically appealing to me and her performance skills have been sorely lacking all too often from what I've seen in the past. By this point in the movie, I thought there were only two scenes worth any significant replay with the others lacking in too many ways. I had serious doubts if this scene could elevate the rating I had in mind but wanted to give it a fair shake since I'm a long time fan of Joey's work yet the bottom line was fan or not, I have to call them like I see them. The oral was messy but seemed to be mechanical, almost as if she were ordered to do it after much protest. The rest of the scene wasn't much better as she showed some energy in the penetrative sex (pussy and ass) but appeared to be going through the motions more than appreciating what he was offering her. The lack of passion and chemistry aside, it had no replay value for me and that finished up the movie on a sour note.

Summary: Hellcats 10 showed that director Joey Silvera is not infallible and the difference in quality from this volume to the last in the series Hellcats 9 was huge. The ladies in the scenes this time rarely appeared to be having fun, the sexual heat was often minimal, and the extras sucked in a bad way. It's movies like this one that remind me why I bother reviewing some of the better names in porn since they don't always make the great porn I associate with them (those Joey's track record is still well above average in most ways). I decided that the strength of a couple of scenes, particularly Naomi's, was enough to warrant a rating of Rent It but make no mistake that Hellcats 10 was among the weakest of Joey's releases in a very long time.
