Extras: The best extra for me was the bonus footage starring Jenna Presley masturbating by Macdaddy. Including the interview and other material, it lasted about 11.5 minute and showcased her nicely. There was also a feature called Behind the Scenes but it consisted solely of a series of photoshoots with the ladies. Several of them appeared to be very unhappy and it was a chore to watch their naked bodies because of it at times. There was a popshot compilation from the scenes, some trailers, a photogallery, and a bunch of spam as well as a true double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Who's Next in Porn? 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by an uncredited director (listed only as Astrux) for Loaded Digital/Metro Interactive. The lighting for the scenes was generally low-end decent and this kept the picture looking fair in most of the scenes. The grain wasn't bad, nor was the video noise, and I saw no compression artifacts to speak of. The composition of the shots typically did not favor the ladies or enhance their looks, and there were some parts that could've been edited better to pace the scenes more evenly. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was almost average, with the tease portion of the scenes crowded by lame music and the rest of the vocals handled well enough for porn.

Body of Review: Metro Interactive used to be one of the best DVD companies in porn due to the way they secured some of the best talent and made the most of it with numerous directors of quality at the helm of their projects. Over the years, they tried different things and while they still get lucky on occasion, the hit to miss ratio is sure weaker than it used to be. That said, today's review of Who's Next in Porn? 4 showed some potential in that newcomers are in such big demand these days that fans jump all over themselves to catch a look at what could become the next big star. Unfortunately, the problem with new gals is similar to the problem with new guys in porn; most of them have yet to convey a sense of heat and passion needed to make a scene strokable to anyone but the least discriminating slavering fanboys. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and that the formula was pretty generic:

Scene One: Aaliyah Jolie, a skinny gal from upstate New York, claimed to be 24 years old and in her first scene as she sat on the bed during the interview. She stripped, did some mechanical teasing during some lame music, and then participated in the scene with tattooed Ethan Cage. I just watched her in a scene or two where she looked a lot better than this so whatever happened, it wasn't in her favor. The sex was mechanical too and while she knew the basics of oral and vaginal, I sensed no chemistry or passion here. It ended with a dribbling facial and seemed to be for completists only.

Scene Two: Rosanna Rose, a 26 year old Philippina that thought scene partner Joe Rock was sexy (showing that she had limited sexual exposure to porn), was up next in the living room. Her dance and tease footage was similar to Aaliyah's in how it reminded me of a gal in need of money more than anything else. She had the "deer caught in the headlights" look some newcomers have, appearing ill at ease during the sex. She wasn't bad looking and I liked her all natural body but even though she was better sexually than the first gal, she also came across as unskilled outside of whatever clubs she probably danced at. With some training, she could become a small name in the business but I really didn't get a lot out of her act either. If she was 85 pounds soaking wet, I'd be amazed and she did the oral and vaginal as though in pain. His small load at the end punctuated the need for better wood too since newcomers tend to respond better to guys with talent.

Scene Three: Kenzie, a girl next door type from Nebraska in her third scene, was interviewed on the bed before she showed off her muscular legs. I liked her curves compared to the last two gals and she seemed to know how to tease in a limited fashion so even if her act was lame, I had something nice to look at with her. Jack Lawrence was her partner and I was glad that the producer saw fit to break free from the mope squad mold by using him here. He might not be the top of the food chain but at least he's in the general vicinity of the type of guy needed. She was girlishly shy as she attacked his meat with her mouth and hand, showing some skill to work with before some 69 and a moderately active ride. Jenna Jameson has nothing to worry about from this lady but she could learn enough to make use of her potential and be a sought after hotty.

Scene Four: Marissa Jayden, the exotic cutie from Las Vegas displayed on the front DVD cover, reminded me a bit of Veronica Hart in her younger years as she gave her interview on the couch. She seemed shy and did little tease (poorly too) before slobbing the knob of the illustrated man himself; Jason Cox. She was no stranger to a cock in her mouth though her style was much like what you'd expect from a well tipped stripper in a second tier strip club. The editing and pounding music hurt the action for me and his lifeless act sure didn't make it look like she was having any effect on him. Her vaginal ride was about the same with him as stoic as could be and her acting like something special was happening. Her looks alone will serve her well but she definitely needed a better partner.

Scene Five: Holly, a light haired gal from Kansas City with an ample sample and teeth that reminded me of Belladonna, was up next with Anthony Hardwood on the couch. Her oral probably felt better than it looked but at least she was enthusiastic about giving head compared to the other gals of the cast. I thought her extra weight looked good on her but she was too passive unless riding the cock on top. Anthony's oral on her was short and she probably could have performed better if she had been properly warmed up. Still, while not shown here much, she also had some potential for better work.

Summary: Who's Next in Porn? 4 provided a glimpse into a bleak future for porn if most of these gals are to become the next big things in the industry. A few of them were cute enough that I'll keep an eye out on their progress but the sexual skill they used was borderline lame. Metro has released some good titles lately but this sure wasn't one of them unless you're really hard up for fun. As such, I rated it as a Skip It though I suspect I'll get fussed at (again) for calling this one like I saw it given the way some of you seem to identify with the ladies least in need of elevating to that pedestal some of us know about.
