Extras: For most of you, the best extra will be the bonus scene between Kirsten Price and Chris Cannon from Duality. It looked like the movie would be a lot of fun with the two of them sharing some chemistry as they engaged in some heated sexual conduct. I also appreciated the 22.5 minute long All Access: Behind the Scenes of Just Like That by Red Ezra or Mark Stone (and edited by Jef~), depending on which source you believe (the title credits listed Mark but the BTS credits listed Red, with Red doing the talking from behind the camera). It was fun, had some extra sex footage, and stands up as a solid production that added value to the DVD release. There were also a number of photogalleries and star statistics, a classy cardboard protective sleeve, two promotional reels, DVD ROM materials like Wicked Awards and Nominations, company profile, and desktop pictures, a DVD catalog, some spam, and trailers to shows like Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, All About Keri, Sold, Secrets of the Velvet Rings, But I'm With The Band, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Just Like That was presented in the usual 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director David Stanley for Wicked Pictures. The use of lighting was moody with the use of shadow nearly as visually compelling this time, lending a slightly saturated color to the fleshtones of the scene. The video noise was minimal and the composition of the scenes was extremely well taken care of, enhancing the look of the ladies in all cases. The audio was presented with numerous choices, the primary one being a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track that balanced the vocals and music nicely. There were also 2.0 Dolby Digital tracks with Spanish and German available for those who care but the fact is that the dubbing seemed quite off on both of them to me. Otherwise, the audio seemed to be about average for Wicked Pictures, even though the vocals were almost certainly recorded in monaural or dubbed in later. Still, the music was well done and the overall quality of the audio was pretty good. As a side note, there were optional Italian subtitles, though I'm not sure how many people use them (they seemed accurate: I checked a few phrases with a translator website).

Body of Review: David Stanley is currently a contract director at the number one feature production company, Wicked Pictures. Previously, he had gained a reputation as a similarly placed director at Vivid Entertainment, for shooting a number of weird, artistic movies that often fell short of the mark. My personal observation has led me to believe that given the budget and time, he can shoot some excellent feature work but when kept on a tight leash, tends to rely more on his creative muse that is very hit or miss. His latest release is Just Like That, a short story of love and relationships that leaned very much towards David's artistic side. The back boxcover said this o=f the movie: "When budding screenwriter Eric (Randy Spears) has a serious case of writers block he searches desperately for a fix. When his girlfriend walks out on him, Cecile (Kirsten Price) walks in. But instead of helping, it only makes matters worse. Distracted by mixed signals and his own lack of confidence, Eric seems destined to fail. Luckily for Eric Cecile isn't going to give up that easily and Just Like That they move past their confusing beginnings and start a wonderful and loving life together." Okay, for couples in search of an introductory porno light on sex, this will be a decent choice to pick up but otherwise, it was too limited for my tastes. Here's a breakdown of the scenes, noting that condoms were used in all of them and the scenes were very short:

Scene One: Jamie Huxley, a lean, all natural brunette with small breasts and an appealing face, was up first as a character in a porno having sex with Tony Tedeschi. The sex was mostly by the numbers with some fair oral followed by a few minutes of vaginal screwing, ending with the pop shot to her chest after she used her feet to cause him to blow his wad. I prefer scenes with more tease and at least a few positions for the couples to enjoy so this weakened the movie right out of the box for me.

Scene Two: Gianna Lynn and Annika, a couple of attractive brunettes with lean bodies and a youthful look, were up next as they wore flimsy blue negligees in the barren office of Evan Stone. After a brief inquisition into their political beliefs, they all had some fun as the gals mostly ignored him as they kissed (and he acted goofy). Once he calmed down, he was allowed to join in on the fun and was soon getting a hummer from each of the ladies in turn. He then donned a condom and took turns screwing them vaginally, ending in a few minutes by rubbing out a load to their faces (where they clamped their eyes shut as though he were spewing toxic waste). They all looked pleasant in the short scene but it was tame with little to recommend for a second viewing.

Scene Three: Cherokee, a short but hot brunette, Alexis Malone, a curvy gal that has recently shown a lot of skill with a meatpipe, and Randy Spears, the man with the plan; were up next as he tried to get advice from them on how to get hooked up with women. They acted in a cartoonish manner before dragging him off to bed in order to satisfy their needs (figuring their advice may work and result in never seeing him again). The ladies took turns sucking him off; each known for skillfully blowing men for pay, and the playful nature of the act was a step above that which had gone on before. He nailed Cherokee first in doggy style as she ate out Alexis, moving on to Alexis after some added oral. I liked how the ladies assisted each other when not the focal point of the sex but after one position each; they used their feet to jerk him off. He came on their feet and that ended the scene.

Scene Four: Kirsten Price, the contract starlet and hotty on the front DVD cover, was up next (in the final three scenes of the movie in fact) with Chris Cannon, as the scene was edited into the reality of the storyline. There was no tease, no warm up, and it began with him digging for clams inside her crotch on a red couch. Thankfully, her blowjob was a redeeming factor here and the best of the movie to this point. I almost wondered if the other ladies were purposefully made to look lame to elevate these last few scenes but that'd be silly. The oral was too slow but led to her actively riding his cock in reverse cowgirl before passively riding him in doggy and taking the facial. It wasn't a great scene but at least there was some occasional spark to it.

Scene Five: Kirsten Price, looking even nicer than last time, blew real life partner Barrett Blade as he spewed dirty talk in the generic living room. Her oral was just as good this time as it was in the last scene but the editing of the story into the action (seeing Randy and various special effects simply doesn't do it for me) and the nature of the scene (oral only and very little of it I might add). I also saw no particular chemistry between the two as could have been the case if the scene was allowed to evolve.

Scene Six: Kirsten Price, yet again looking swell, cuddled on the bed with Randy Spears in his last ditch attempt to find love with the attractive lady. They kissed and held each other, slowly exploring one another orally though again in far too rapid a manner (a few pokes in the mouth does not a blowjob make), resulting in some foot fetish stuff before she rode his cock actively. I was happy that she did him in cowgirl fashion first since it allowed her the chance to look great and prove her skill but only three short positions of penetrative sex later he was jerking off to her feet. There was some tenderness and I understand the idea of building up to the climaxing scene but perhaps ramping it up a bit next time would make more sense.

Summary: Just Like That was director David Stanley's latest self exploration into his own life with several insider jokes clearly in evidence. The lead character's name is "Eric M." almost certainly meaning Eric Masterson, the performer he used in almost all of his Vivid movies to represent himself going through a series of personal crisis's. As a stroke flick, it failed fro me simply because there was so little actual sex going on with a generic nature to it and a decided leaning towards foot fetish material. As a couples feature movie to watch, it fared better by a wide margin so if that's what you're looking for, by all means ignore my rating of Skip It, but don't forget that most people aren't looking for the fluff without the completion, limiting the value of the movie for them tremendously.
