Extras: The extras were pretty good this time with two bonus scenes being the most likely place to start. One of them was a scene between Bailey and Jerry that started off with her teasing and masturbating. They ate each other, screwed vaginally and anally, and then ended it when he popped on her abdomen. It probably wasn't included in the main movie because of the spot of the pop, this being an anal creampie movie. The second scene was slightly shorter, lasting 19.5 minutes instead of 21.5 minutes, and was between Hillary Scott and John West from Anal Cherry Busters. I prefer bonus scenes shot for the individual releases but it was still pretty decent with both performers on top of their game. I also liked the 9.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature as it gave much of the cast a chance to pose for their stills, make a few comments, and provide some extra footage of sexually explicit material. There was also a lengthy photogallery and a protective DVD sleeve to the DVD case.

Audio/Video Quality: Butt Blast! was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen color with an approximate aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as originally shot by director Ronnie James for Bad Seed/Adam & Eve. There was some grain, minor lighting and compositional issues, and times when the colors were too saturated. The fishnets worn in some scenes looked radioactive on my television screen but the lighting was decent and the camera work moderately competent for the most part. Too much camera movement caused a few issues as well but the general sense of the scenes, both good and bad, seemed adequately covered this time. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English was somewhat hollow but vocals weren't a major focus of the scenes and the limited music didn't get in the way either.

Body of Review: Bad Seed is the hardcore subsidiary of Adam & Eve Empire. I've found a number of their regular releases (especially the higher end stuff) to be really good for the market it has been made for so I have had high hopes for their harder material under this line as well. One of the problems with expanding into territory you haven't addressed well in the past is that chasing the competition can be very difficult to pull off well and that was the case with Butt Blast!. The movie was advertised as providing a "100% anal cream pies" and I had my doubts given the observed performances on camera but there was some decidedly heated action too. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Flower Tucci, the curvy cutie on the front DVD cover, was up first as she teased the camera in her black & blue camisole, neon blue thong, and silk stockings. In a display of flexibility, she jammed numerous fingers inside her sweet ass, but it was clear that she was more interested in working with studly Marco Duato/Banderas. I admit to liking them both, though obviously only being attracted to her, and your mileage may vary but I considered their performance to be full of heat and chemistry. Her oral on him showed she was in good form and he returned the favor nicely before she started to actively ride his rod wildly. The anal came afterwards and was just as aggressively handled by the favored hotty who showed some of her waterwork act before he deposited his load inside her ass as advertised. It was a surprisingly solid scene between the two from a new director.

Scene Two: Luscious Lopez, a curvy Latina with a bountiful booty, teased in a neon pink outfit that barely held her privates covered; first outside and then on the couch indoors. She was looking great when studly Buster Good, wearing an "I'm Evil" t-shirt, walked up behind her to offer her what she wanted to suck on. She has seemingly always been orally gifted and fans will be well served here as she worked him over with lots of enthusiasm. The lucky guy went right to boning her tight pussy as she verbally coaxed him on. She was more active when on top but it was another good ride to enjoy, from her pounding flesh rippling on his cock to her PTM, to the switch out to anal. Like the last scene, the camera didn't cut away to give the chance for a false creampie to be added in, marking it as another solid scene in most ways.

Scene Three: Lexi Bardot, a far leaner brunette wearing some generic but pleasing black lingerie, had more of a chance to masturbate on the living room couch than the others in the movie. I prefer the curvier hotties as seen previously but can understand why someone might prefer a gal built for speed over comfort like her. She ended up working with Franco Del Torro by sucking him off slowly before impaling herself on his cock vaginally and anally. To be fair, she was not as active a rider as the other gals to this point and the scene suffered as a result but she did pick up the pace in the anal reverse cowgirl. The pop shot was not the "100% anal creampie" as advertised though as he pulled out to jerk off to her ass cheeks, even if some semen may have slipped inside by accident.

Scene Four: Katja Kassin, the attractive German anal queen built for comfort over speed, was up next as she teased outdoors in a pink & purple outfit that enhanced her figure nicely. From the looks of it, she had been working out as her muscles came across as toned up and I admit again to being a huge fan of her and her work. The scene itself took place inside a room by the fireplace with Alec Knight as the lucky bastard getting his knob slobbed by her. While her oral on him wasn't the best of the show, she has long been established as being better during the penetrative sex. The vaginal was okay but when they moved on to the anal, she was on fire as a result. If any of the others hammered themselves as passionately on the cock as she did, I must've missed it and this saved the scene for me. On a down side, the camera cut away during the pop shot and even showed him dropping a little on her cheek so the anal excavation that came afterwards was highly questionable to discerning viewers.

Scene Five: Marie Luv, the lean, leggy black gal that has been an anal player in the industry for awhile now, was up last as she teased in her skimpy outfit inside the house (ending up in the bedroom). She tends to be hit or miss with me in terms of the quality of her performances so I was hopeful this would be a better one for her in order to save the day of the movie (it was borderline for me in terms of rating by this scene). The tease was fine and Seth Dickens began the sex by eating her out. Her own oral lacked the kind of energy she almost always provides (oral is typically her strong point) and the penetrative sex seemed similar in nature. He did most of the work and she yelled out like it would cause the viewer to think something special was taking place. It ended with a likely anal creampie that she pushed out though it couldn't save the scene for me.

Summary: Butt Blast! had some solid potential and it almost warranted a rating of recommended but it had to settle for a Rent It. The casting was solid, the extras pretty good, and the technical values better than initially expected but the performances were somewhat uneven to me and this lowered the replay value for me a lot. I hope to see if director Ronnie James can pull it off better in another movie (he was so close) but fans of the ladies may think I was a bit harsh with my criticism and want to get their own copy nonetheless. It had enough moments to go either way though so let your penis be your guide.
