Extras: The best extra for most folks will be the bonus scene from Nasty, a movie shot in 2002 by director Shay Sights (the scene starred her and another gal that I barely know; the movie coming from the vaults of Jill Kelly Productions from the looks of it). It was lesbian only with some licking, fingering, and toys on a bed but it never really managed to trip my trigger. I liked the 10.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Voodoo better since it was related to the movie had had more sex from the scenes as well as preparational work. There was also a photogallery, trailers, and some annoying forced spam at the beginning of the DVD.

Audio/Video Quality: Shock Pussy 1 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Skye Blue for Platinum Blue Productions. The lighting level was kept low to boost the darker nature of the lesbian action but this led to grain and some video noise with some minor pixilation and mosquito noise too. The fleshtones were accurate enough but the compositional matters were not always enhancing to the cast as they were put through the paces by Skye. Like most fetish releases, it looked very low budget much of the time but not as bad as the really hardcore stuff from overseas. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English but the vocals were rare and the music generic as could be, neither adding much to the show for me.

Body of Review: Skye Blue has been involved in the production of pornography for a very long time, moving from company to company as events transpired. Her latest release is a lesbian fetish-lite show called Shock Pussy 1 that seems designed more for those wanting something ever so slightly edgier than her work at JKP but not as harsh as he work at Bizarre. The SMBD material was on the very light side so don't think you'll find a lot of that in terms of role playing or flogging for example but I suppose there's a market for everything, yes? Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that not much happened worth mentioning:

Scene One: Naudia Nyce, the Belladonna clone bent over in a red fishnet top on the front DVD cover, was up first as she teased the camera to the beat of a synthesizer. Her fetish schoolgirl outfit enhanced her appeal and while she's not my type, I thought she conveyed a sense of tease very nicely in the low lit office. She went from strictly teasing the camera to using sex toys and a huge vibrator when Dana De Armond (the brunette on the front cover holding the power tool in Naudia's ass) joined her. Both gals got to appreciate a variety of toys, with the power drill attachment used on Naudia's ass (again, shown on the front DVD cover) being something I hadn't seen before. The dildo machine was similar to one formerly used in several Seymore Butts movies so it was kind of old hat to me but the gals seemed to enjoy all the tricks shoved their way. I couldn't say if they were really getting off but I know that the fetish aspects of the scene were too light to appeal to the SMBD crowd with neither gal taking control in the scene.

Scene Two: Mistress Aradia, an older redhead dressed up in a skintight blue PVC outfit, was up next in a large open shower with a naked Ariel X as an umbrella was held over Aradia's head to keep her dry. Then, from off camera, a couple of buckets of milk were tossed on the two ladies, giving them something to lick off of each other with some occasional smaller doses added in for effect. Balloons were popped and the umbrella pulled double duty as a dildo before some vibrating eggs were inserted into the private parts of the ladies by Aradia. This led to a fancy dildo machine (as the ladies rocked back and forth, the dildo would enter and exit the pussy) coming out and the effective end of the scene then followed.

Scene Three: Dana De Armond, dressed in pearls, long black gloves, and skimpy panties with her stripper shoes, was up next as she masturbated on the foot stool in the office. This led to her using the industrial sized neck massager on herself and her getting lost in the moment when Mistress Aradia came up behind her with a handgun. I'm not a believer that sex and guns mix well but thematically, some of you may think otherwise and the use of the mirror compact came into play for self exploration more than once here. The champagne bottle was used as a dildo as was the handgun (ewww) with the dildo device back in action again (with Aradia staying fully clothed the entire time). The secret agent theme came out at the very end, making no real sense but fans of pearls jammed in pussies will be happy to know that you were covered too.

Scene Four: Ariel X and Naudia Nyce, both wearing neon green PVC outfits that did little to cover their bodies, were up last as they played on the bed. They sucked and licked each other mechanically, employing a wide variety of toys including the hand drill again, a electric shock toy, and some more mundane dildos as they went through the paces. The water work show was unrealistic and dildo device got one last play. Like the other scenes, the ladies seemed more like they were posing than truly having fun, the BTS footage aside.

Summary: Shock Pussy 1 was a disappointment for me since the action wasn't strokable (I like lesbian scenes almost all of the time), the technical values weren't all that special, and there was just far too little to grab a hold of me and make me want to whip out my cock and start pumping away; the goal of all good porn. In short, Shock Pussy 1 had pussy but no shock worth detailing, with me preferring to see Skye jump in and show the cast how it's done rather than coldly go through the motions for the earned Skip It. Skye Blue has made better porn with several companies so pass this one up in favor of one of her older titles if you like her work.
