Extras: Every once in awhile, a company gets a flash of brilliance as to what kind of extras to provide on their latest DVD releases. The best in terms of unique, content related extras has long been Wicked Pictures though some of you have pointed out that the most their extras get watched is a time or two. Considering the nature of porn, the best extras that real consumers enjoy relate to extra sex scenes and someone at Metro Interactive decided to try something new; provide full, unedited movies as extras! To my way of thought, this is great because it rapidly escalates the value of the new release and gives exposure to performers of yesteryear so imagine my surprise when I saw that Voluptuous 6 came in a huge package advertising not one, but two(!!) free movies; Volumes 1 and 2 of the Voluptuous series! I know they're older releases and can be found on sale for a reasonable price but the value of such extras measures beyond the standard stuff so I included a quick rundown of them after the body of the review for this volume in the series. Yay Metro!

Okay, the rest of the extras included a 2.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature with a little extra sex, a 15.5 minute long series of interviews by Jade Marcela with the cast that added some nice value, a photogallery, some trailers, and a pop shot compilation from the scenes. There was also a true double sided DVD case and all three discs were in a single, regular sized case. While the extra movies were the clear draw of the show, these extras weren't bad either considering the length of the movie.

Audio/Video Quality: Voluptuous 6 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Anton Slayer for release by Metro Interactive under their Toxxxic Entertainment label. The lighting was strong and flat, limiting the amount of grain and video noise present, with a nod to the shooting style of past directors in the series. The composition of the camera angles was generally, though not always, flattering to the ladies of the show as it enhanced their looks but seemed to home in on their implant scars and blemishes too much. Still, it was a leap forward from some of the material shot by the company when it first started up and compares well to most of their current gonzo lines. The audio was presented in the standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English but had no separation between the tracks that I could hear and the vocals were sometimes sublimated to the music track (which blared incessantly at the beginning).

Body of Review: Metro Interactive has long been one of those so-called "meat & potatoes" porn producers as they have done their very best to trim all the excess fat from production budgets in favor of lowering costs and providing barebones but often strokable porn for consumers. I've been a customer for years and have had a great many nice things to say about their better efforts, though they tend to go through cycles of quality more varied than some of their peers in the industry. Their latest release I got to check out was the limited edition version of Voluptuous 6, a series long established at Metro for offering busty babes having sex. The kicker this time is that the value added extras included the first two volumes from the series (that's right, the entire volumes on their original discs) thrown in for good measure. In terms of value, that elevated the score quite a bit though I should point out that this is still basic porn without the frills. If you like big breasts, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used by the males:

Scene One: Trina Michaels, The gal on the right side of the front DVD cover, was up first with perennial player Mark Wood on a couch. The setting was as basic as I remember the series providing and he spent a fair amount of time playing with her hooters before she slobbed his knob with some level of energy and skill. She started to titty fuck his shaft but for some unknown reason stopped, almost as if she were told to stop from an off camera source. The camera work, editing, and other technical matters were in desperate need of some polishing up but I can't deny that the addition of the extra two volumes swayed my belief that many of you will enjoy this one a lot. Even the package it came in was cool (though disposable since it amounted to a large glossy package with a plastic insert spot for the DVD to be centered in) and would make a nice gift for friends with big titty fetishes. Balancing out the fact that you can find it online for the cost of a single disc is the fact that it had some flaws worth noting in terms of the technical aspects but it was still readily worth a rating of Recommended. In short, Voluptuous 6: Limited Edition was jam packed with hot ladies and heated action, making it well worth looking for if you're into big titties.

The movie was directed by Greg Alves in 1999 but had the handiwork of Mike Quasar all over it, lasting the better part of 100 minutes and providing a basic set up where the cast teased with their breasts and then had sex (with all scenes having one meat puppet except for the early Devinn Lane lesbian tryst). I saw this one years ago and liked it, getting a copy for free as part of this limited edition set proving a sweet little extra indeed.

This volume in the series came out in 2002 and was properly credited to Mike Quasar, providing about 95 minutes of sex scenes with busty ladies of all shapes and sizes. The camera work was undeniably similar to the first volume and some effort was made to clean up the minor nuances of the first release, most of which I attribute to Mike's hand. I haven't seen most of these ladies perform in a very long time, ages in porn terms, and while some of the material seems dated compared to contemporary offerings, I have to admit that most of the sex holds up nicely.
