Extras: The best extra for me was the 12 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. The gals were interviewed, oiled up, and got show some extra hardcore footage so it was fun. There was also an 8.5 minute long Dance Sequence (on the back cover it was called a Strip Tease) where the gals teased the camera as they danced and oiled themselves up one at a time. Audio/Video Quality: Crude Oil was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by Chris Streams for release by Zero Tolerance. The lighting was fairly well handled, often limiting the grain and other visual flaws in the open settings of the hotel. The lighting was fine in most cases and the camera work by Chris and Dwayne helped make it especially good looking with no obvious grain or video noise to speak of. The composition of the shots was largely enhancing to the ladies as they diddled themselves or took on their partners with a few spots in need of fill lighting but otherwise covering up most of their minor flaws. There was also some limited POV camera angle action taking place, providing the best of both worlds (although I again wanted better male cast ID than was provided). There were no compression artifacts and the fleshtones were very accurate, making this one visually appealing to me. The 2.0 stereo audio was a bit more basic with no separation or major dynamic range but I could almost always hear what was said and the music didn't interfere with my viewing pleasure. Fans of Spanish dubbed audio tracks will also appreciate that there was one of those for your enjoyment.

Body of Review: Zero Tolerance has been a company well worth watching over the years, even when they were so sensitive to my comments about their former mission statement that they cut me off for a very long time from their screener list. The best thing about the company from my point of view has been the ability of their directors to really capture some great scenes (the same holds true for their subsidiary, Third Degree). One of my favorite directors at the company is Chris Streams and his latest effort is called Crude Oil, a series of gonzo scenes where the ladies were oiled up before doing interracial tricks on camera. Summary: Crude Oil was another winner from Chris Streams worthy of being called Highly Recommended. In short, Crude Oil might have been slightly crude with a few rough spots but the interactions between the partners enhanced the scenes and made it stand out as a very solid effort from director Chris Streams. I liked the oiling up, the tease, and the ladies so much that even though the cast included but one of my favorites, I might have to start looking harder for some of the other ladies in future titles.
