Extra's: I liked the masturbation/tease scenes by the ladies the best. Each got a chance to play and while they weren't as long as I would have liked, each showed their own style at pleasuring oneself. Vicky lasted the longest, giving it up for 6.5 minutes while the others were typically given about half that amount of time. I also appreciated the 18.5 minute long Behind the Scenes recorded by Mike. There was a combination of interview footage, photogallery material, and more sex; making it quite a winner in my book. Audio/Video Quality: Double Parked 16 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by David Lord for release by DVSX. I've never seen one of his movies, except for the occasional BTS, and I'm pleased to report that the lighting was solid/balanced which led to limited grain and video noise. The composition of the shots always seemed to enhance the look of the ladies, though there were a few moments that could've used polishing up with the editing (some extraneous camera movement that appeared to look like he slipped) but overall, the visuals were well done and made the project all the more strokable for me. The audio was presented in the standard 2.0 Dolby Digital enhanced English stereo, with the vocals captured by the built in microphone on the camera and the music added in later during post production. I thought the thump-heavy music during the tease was kind of lame but that's a personal preference and it really didn't harm the appeal of the ladies (I would've turned it down had I watched the movie for fun and not to review).

Body of Review: David Lord (AKA: David Crawdaddy" Crawford) has been a fixture in porn for a very long time. I've known David since his days at Wicked Pictures and thought he was directing for American Hardcore so I was surprised to see his name on the boxcover of Double Parked 16, a double penetration movie from DVSX. Still, knowing his eye for quality, I was pleased that the project wasn't just tossed to the warehouse guy or pizza deliveryman as some of the company's past movies appeared to have been done. Seriously though, I missed out on David's directorial debut at Evil Angel (widely reported to be a top notch hit all around) so this was my chance to see if he could handle the day to day directorial duties he and I discussed a few times over the years, including as recently as during the 2006 AEE Show. I've seen a few in the series previously, the last time being Double Parked 12, but I'm not a big fan of DP's since they typically don't give a gal much room to maneuver and few of them are truly into the action. Well, David seems to have picked a solid cast and I was more than happy to check it out given the names on the cover. Speaking of which, the back cover described the movie like this: "What do you do with the indecisive girl, who can't just choose one cock... or one hole? Give her what she wants! Our DP babes will do anything to double their pleasure. So, DVSX invites you to cum along for a ride in the carpool lane, where there are no less than 2 dicks to each Jane at all times." So here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that the men weren't identified but I felt pretty comfortable with my efforts to figure out who was who here, noting no condoms were used:

Summary: Double Parked 16 was the best volume in the series for me and showed that director David Lord had what it takes to make it in the competitive world of pornography. His eye for capturing heated performances, his skill with the camera, and his ability to get the most out of the ladies all helped make this one worthy of a Highly Recommended. It didn't hurt that there were some decent extras, solid technical values, and an award winning cast of hotties either but he was at the helm and let them do what they do best, unlike many of his peers that want to make art or over direct to the point where the spark is lost. In short, Double Parked 16 has everything a raincoater could want in a fuck flick; a wide range of talented ladies that'll do anything, high end technical values, and plenty of fuck for the buck with the kind of strokable replay value that sets it apart from most of what you'll find in similar themed movies.
