Extra's: The best extra was the 20.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that showed the ladies before, during, and after their scenes. The anecdotes were short but there was extra sex and nudity, making it work for me and my tastes (and the hotty make up gal was present less than usual though). There was also a photogallery, a cumshot recap, a true double sided DVD cover, and trailers to movies like Crack Addict 5, Swallow the Leader 3, Hand to Mouth 3, About Face 3, Hand To Mouth 3, Tits Ahoy 3, and Asswhole 3.

Audio/Video Quality: Filthy was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by Chris Streams for release by 3rd Degree. The lighting was almost always handled nicely, limiting the grain and other visual flaws in the open settings of the house (living room and bedroom). The composition of the shots was largely enhancing to the ladies as they diddled themselves or took on their partners with a few spots in need of fill lighting but otherwise covering up most of their minor flaws. There were some compression artifacts and the fleshtones were very accurate, making this one visually appealing to me even if not the best I've seen from Chris in the recent past. The 2.0 stereo audio was a bit more basic with no separation or major dynamic range but I could almost always hear what was said and the music didn't interfere with my viewing pleasure. There was also a dubbed Spanish track as an alternative if you really have the craving to see bad dubbing on a porno.

Body of Review: Third Degree is a company dedicated to providing porn that fans can stroke off to without all the bells and whistles or artistic lameness that you might have noticed enjoying a renaissance at some companies. As such, fans have sought out their consistently best directors like Chris Streams and honored him by singling him out as someone they can trust to deliver the goods. His latest movie is Filthy, a series of heated gonzo scenes where the cast were given some basic steps to follow for the enjoyment of each other and with the fan in mind, with some of the best talent in the business. If this sounds good to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Amy Ried, the dirty looking gal on the front DVD cover, was up first as she posed in front of the window in her cover ensemble. Amy has currently left porn for greener pastures but I have to tell you that as her later movies come out, she sure has shown a nasty streak that fans are just now finding out about. Summary: Filthy was another title from Third Degree that earned a rating of Recommended for the quality of casting, the levels of fuck for the buck, and the technical excellence that helped convey the performances at their best. Not all of the ladies were equally talented but the worst of the lot was still better than average and it became clear to me that Filthy was a cut above the pack in several ways. From newcomer Amy, to rising anal princess Naomi, to the seasoned skills of Lisa, there was a lot of solid fucking going on and the extras didn't hurt either. Give it a look and you'll find a lot to like for a reasonable price, though it was not the top pick from the company of late.
