Extra's: There were a number of solid extras on the DVD with my favorite being the 10.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. There was extra footage of the cast, more sex, a few funny bits, and some photoshoots. I thought the lack of Naomi footage and the limited amount of Stefani Morgan footage to be a shame but this is an area that you really can't always predict; who will make the cut and who won't. Most of you will appreciate the five unrelated bonus scenes (I outlined two of them below; for $2 Bill and Wife Swappers; with the others being Blue Collar, Karma, and Zoom; starring Lanny Barby & Evan Stone, Monique Alexander & Trent Tesoro, Lacie Heart, Jerry, and Ben English, Mercedez & Tommy Gunn, and Raylene & Mark Davis respectively). There were some interesting trailers to movies like Open Set and Star, a biography for Stefani Morgan, a few photogalleries, some spam, a positions room, and a true double sided DVD cover. Given the length of the movie itself, this was a solid set of extras that most of you will enjoy.

Audio/Video Quality: The Visitor was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director J. Bleazy for Vivid Entertainment. The lighting was decent and that substantially limited the grain, video noise and other visual flaws (though the fleshtones looked mostly accurate when they weren't overly saturated). The composition of the shots varied more than a little though I would suggest that aside from some extra camera movement, the picture tended to make the ladies look their best in almost all cases here. The 2.0 Dolby Digital audio track was hollow with no separation between the channels but I could hear the vocals well enough to know what they were saying. The music ranged from decent to totally generic but the vocals were the primary aural factor so I wasn't bothered by it in the flick at all, even if there appeared to be some dubbing going on.

Body of Review: Vivid Entertainment is one of the world's largest providers of adult entertainment so a lot of people look to them for inspiration as the big kid on the block when it comes to their contract stable of lovely ladies, their production techniques, and their marketing savvy. As a result, the company tends to get remembered for the large number of smaller titles they make rather than the blockbusters that gather all the wards yet it is almost always these smaller movies that push the limits of the creative staff and performers since there's no pressure to make greatness happen (as it was expressed to me not long ago). One of their latest little efforts was a movie called The Visitor, a series of unrelated vignettes showcasing contract performer Stefani Morgan as she masturbated and took on members of both genders for the flick. The back DVD cover said this of the movie: "The mind wanders... and so do the hands. To her moist, twitching center, as she imagines great sex in the California sun, around the pool, and in the wild nightclubs of Hollywood. Vivid presents the hottest new girl in adult, Stefani Morgan, in a movie about being a visitor and daydreaming in a way only an awesome beauty can. Your visit is about to begin." While it wasn't the top pick of the month or anything truly wild & exciting, there was a fairly decent amount of sex going on here with a cast that looked to be top picks from the industry, even if they weren't all hitting their mark. Here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that there was some condom usage:

Scene One: Naomi, the bubble butted hotty that has swept the porn world this year for her heated performances, and hotty contract gal Stefani Morgan, the gal on the front DVD cover that is beautiful enough for both of them, were up first after the two started to masturbate and ended up joining each other on a leopard print couch. I like both gals for their strengths; Stefani for her looks and Naomi for her ass & number of fine scenes this year but initially, I wasn't getting a vibe that they were into one another. Naomi tends to work far more excitedly with men and Stefani needs the attention of the camera to truly shine and be her best so the relative focus of the scene on using a small black dildo left me kind of cold and as though they were performing for the camera rather than truly having fun. Don't get me wrong though; I liked watching them and they provided some stroke value but it wasn't up to their potential with neither of them licking or fingering the other for any length of time.

Scene Two: Cassie Young, a lean blonde with an all natural body wearing a pink & green nighty, was up next as she slowly strip teased for the camera before working with studly Tommy Gunn. The scene had some additional footage of Stefani Morgan fingering herself edited in but that aspect was a pain for me as it distracted from the heat Cassie and Tommy provided. Tommy went right to eating her wonderful ass, spanking it playfully to increase the heat they shared. Sex on a bed can allow for a lot more variations to be captured by the camera and she responded well to the way he readied her body. This led to a great 69 between the two and it emphasized her perfect pucker to an extent that I give a lot of credit to the editing for making it happen. Scene Three: Alektra Blue, a beautiful newcomer, and established hotty Lisa Ann, were up next as they masturbated beside one another in some bikini outfits as the edited Stefani footage continued to be added in from time to time. Of the two gals, Lisa interested me the most as she dominated the action but compared to the last lesbian scene, this pairing was much more readily appreciated since the gals appeared to be getting each other off with their tongues, fingers, and toys. The lighting could have been slightly better but the raw energy was off the charts; proving that Vivid's lesbian scenes aren't all tame.

Scene Four: Naomi, looking like quite a hard body in her lingerie, was up again as she teased the camera even more effectively in the house as she playfully gyrated and contorted herself for the camera. This was another case of Stefani's edited in parts taking away from the heat of the scene (I think she's a babe but she was getting in the way too often here) but Tom Byron, a fellow Houstonian, showed that even us heavy old guys can keep up with the youngsters in porn these days as Naomi sucked him off aggressively. This was a great oral effort on her part with the editing adding something to the mix as she attacked his meat with vigor. Bonus Scene 1: $2 Bill: "Lanny Barby, the hotty on the front DVD cover and well known Canadian beauty, was up first as she provided a private dance for the mighty Evan Stone inside a strip club's VIP room. Her teasing gyrations on the metal pool, the way she gave him those sultry looks and the generally seductive manner she employed all enhanced the preliminaries here before she orally attacked his penis with her loving mouth on the purple velour couch. Bonus Scene 2: Wife Swappers: Monique Alexander, still looking pretty fresh, was up last in a bed with wimpy Trent Tesoro (he really needs to hit the gym and bulk up a little bit). She rambled on about a sexual experience of her past and he pretended to listen as he eyed her body. They did the oral with straight action and aside from some shadows due to no fill lighting, she looked better here than before (and much better than in her other releases for Vivid). She was energetic and actively participated in the sex, taking a facial at the end. With a little more practice with guys, she has the potential to really shine in porn so I can see why Vivid would sign her to an exclusive contract.

Summary: The Visitor will appeal largely to fans of Stefani Morgan since she had two full scenes (one lesbian) and some masturbation footage edited into the rest of the movie. The quality of the fuck for the buck was mixed and the extras were the usual package of Vivid treats but the spark was lacking from some scenes and the technical matters were in need of polishing up. Vivid has made some very solid movie's of late and this seemed almost a retreat to their older style but it was the mixed heat of Stefani's scenes that ultimately lowered the rating to a Rent It since I'm convinced she is capable of doing a lot more. In short, The Visitor was left at the train station for me in too many instances although I'd like to see Vivid truly back the contract gal with better direction and a more complete, top of the line, DVD set in the future.
