Extra's: The best extra by most standards would be the bonus sex scene from the movie that didn't make the final cut between Holly Wellin and Scott Styles. It only lasted about 12 minutes but it was a better extra than the generic toss in scene from another movie. Speaking of that, there was such a bonus scene from 3 Wishes between Stormy Daniels and Eric Masterson that I enjoyed (only because I never saw the original movie though). They really aren't the best porn couple on the small screen but she's done worse in the past. I also liked the 24.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Red Ezra (editing by Jef) for all the fun it offered (the cast seemed to be having a great time as they kid around) but it also had the cast posing during photoshoots and having extra hardcore sex in between the interviews. There were a number of photogalleries and star statistics, 6.5 minutes of Bloopers, two promotional reels, DVD ROM materials like Wicked Awards and Nominations, company profile, casino game, and desktops, a DVD catalog, some spam, and trailers to shows like Skin Deep, What's A Girl Gotta Do?, Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, Secrets of the Velvet Rings, Road Trixxx 3, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Sleeping Around was presented in the anamorphic widescreen color with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 as shot by director Stormy Daniels for Wicked Pictures in HD. There was some grain and video noise thanks to the lighting (most of the scenes were in darker than average rooms for a porno) but it was a decent looking feature for the smaller budget I believe it had (and there were no compression artifacts observed).The composition of the camera angles tended to enhance the ladies and that was a positive aspect of Stormy's growth as a director. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English with a 2.0 DD German, Greek, Italian, or Spanish track as alternatives. These tracks were solely used during the talking parts as the sex scenes remained in English. Like most lower end Wicked Pictures movies, the audio enhancement seemed added in to a monaural vocal track with generic music; sporting little separation or dynamic range, but it still sounded better than many other smaller companies' works.

Body of Review: Stormy Daniels is probably best known as the hotty female director at Wicked Pictures. While her beauty and passion are well established as a performer, she has been making significant headway into her directing skill in recent years with her latest flick being Sleeping Around. The movie was another of her small, lower budget features that showcase female empowerment as a theme, this time tempered with a bit of turnabout too. She played a high powered female executive that sleeps around as well as any man, trying to have her cake and eat it too as she guides kid sister (played by Eva Angelina) on the finer points of love, loss, and playing around. As the cover put it: "Jill (Stormy Daniels) is a successful business woman who's not afraid of enjoying her sexual prowess and has no intention of settling down. While her sister Courtney (Eva Angelina) is a shy coffee shop employee who is just looking for love. As sisters they couldn't be more different! But when suave Harris (Randy Spears) breaks her sister's heart, Jill risks everything for a taste of revenge. In the end, the results are nothing they could've expected, as both sisters learn some hilarious lessons about the consequences of sleeping around." That said, here's a look at the movie by cast and action, noting that condoms were prominently used in the scenes:

Scene One: Eva Angelina, playing a shy, almost nebbish brunette (as seen on the right side of the front DVD cover), started off in a black dress on the bed with Randy Spears rubbing her feet as part of a plan to seduce her. She freaked out and after he continued to work on her orally with Ravel's Bolero playing in the background, she gave in. It was nice to see the performers play the role a bit less confident though her blowjob to him was good enough that it was clear she was no beginner. The screwing showed her to be no slouch either as the scene called for her to actively ride the white horse actively once warmed up. It was again a slower, though still sweaty, romp in the hay with the lighting low enough to make it romantic but high enough to see what was happening. She yelled out from time to time and he ended it by jerking off onto her fine right ass cheek, leaving a huge load to clean up as a result.

Scene Two: Stormy Daniels, looking as much like a princess as ever, was up next in bed wearing white lingerie as Marcus London went down on her. He fingered and sucked away at her lips, warming her up before she returned the favor with a hot blowjob. Her sexual style was markedly more aggressive than Eva's in the movie in order to differentiate their characters, showing that a woman could also be dominant and hot. They screwed in a few positions and while the vaginal bit of pounding would've been even better had it lasted three times as long, she looked great and was hitting her stride as she nailed herself with his modest sized member. It ended when he rubbed out a load to her lower abdomen, her tasting the semen as part of the effect.

Scene Three: Haley Paige, a cutey with a lean body and dark hair, blonde and curvy Sammie Rhodes, and studly pervert Randy Spears, were up next on his couch as he made his move on the two with his foot massage trick (note to self; learn reflexology). Interestingly enough, Randy continued to watch throughout the scene as the ladies tore into one another with a glass toy and their tongues, at which point I'm sure I'd have left a huge puddle of population pudding all over myself. They had some chemistry together and the sparks flew as the scene ended though I still would have liked to see him get off a bit too but as they made their way into the bedroom for the "main course", the scene faded out.

Scene Four: Stormy Daniels, having unsuccessfully comforted Eva at the club, was up next with Van Damage after he changed her tire for her like a sucker…er, gentleman. After some story portions of the movie, they ended up on the couch with her looking better than ever in her jeans and tight peach colored top. He orally satisfied her by working her breasts and pussy, leading to her blowing him with her usual corkscrew hand technique. There was some minor foot play for those who care and she played a slightly less aggressive role this time but she was into the action as if he knew what he was doing. The foreplay didn't last nearly long enough when they began bumping uglies, her using some minimal dirty talk as he tapped away on her little cookie. After a mere two positions, he lost it and shot a load to her mouth after she sucked his nut sack, dropping a fair load for her to enjoy.

Scene Five: Stormy Daniels, playing the role of a seductress after picking up Randy Spears in the club (as part of a revenge trick), essentially used all of his own tricks against him but by the time he caught on, he was trapped in her house, running for dear life. Randy overplayed the humor a little too much but once things settled down, they got just playful enough to really get into the scene. Her color scheme didn't change and she dominated him even more than her previous partners, this time overtly with a collar on him to denote ownership on her part. The combination of humor and sex was very well done with fine oral by both of them (hers was more teasing than anything though) before she very aggressively rode his rod to an orgasm. He then whipped off the rubber to drop his load onto her crotch, though she indicated she was going to attack him anally like his real name was "Kurt" as she brandished a strap on dildo. Sadly, that never happened but it was funny.

Scene Six: Eva Angelina, after getting to hear how much Stormy punked out Randy (though it later backfired on her), was up last with geeky Eric Masterson as both of them wore silly metallic outfits. The good news is that the figured I'd be reviewing the movie since Eric clearly spoke out to me personally, saying "Houston, we have lift off" when Eva climbed into bed with him. All kidding aside though, she was much more aggressively sexual here and while they only did oral and vaginal, it showed a lot more energy then her previous scene; largely as part of the evolution of her character. The camera work and editing of the scene seemed even better than in some of the previous scenes, showcasing Eva nicely as she worked the meat pipe in her mouth and pussy, eventually riding him hard to work out a load that hit her face and glasses.

Summary: Sleeping Around might not be up for all the awards that Wicked Pictures hopes to win next January but Stormy did a solid job here of combining the various technical and performance aspects she had to work with and the results ended up in a movie I felt was worthy of being Recommended. The sex was not the sexual Olympic or circus act type so popular in certain circles but as a couples feature, the writing was decent and fused well with what took place. The cast looked fine and Stormy seemed to go out of her way to enhance them as best she could so I guess Sleeping Around was a title you'll find worth keeping in your collection if you like the performers listed above. Oh, and it was interesting (and a pleasant surprise) to see Club Jenna girl McKenzie Lee here, even if she wasn't allowed to have sex per her contract. Good work Princess!
