Extra's: For most people, the bonus POV blowjob scene by Isabel Ice will be the best extra. Audio/Video Quality: Bet Your Ass 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jonni Darkko for distribution by Evil Angel. Having watched his works for several years now, I can safely say that he has been improving the quality of his work in regards to technical matters just as he has been getting better at displaying passion and heat in the scenes he shoots. This title was a case where he surpassed the visual qualities of his peers at the company by using solid lighting that got rid of most of the grain, video noise, and related flaws. He also seemed to spend some time enhancing the quality of the looks of the gals using camera angles that flattered them individually instead of a cookie cutter approach as in the past. For all these improvements, I tip my hat to his care and consideration. The DVD had no compression artifacts or other flaws added in during the mastering process so it was a nice looking DVD too. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio wasn't as pleasing as the visuals since they typically started out with droning musical pieces and moved onto almost always quiet action sequences. I hate rap and thump heavy music in porn, especially when the vocals are weakened because of them, so this was once again an area needing some work in the future.

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko is one of the loyal directors that continues to use Evil Angel as his distributor now that Erik Everhard and Jules Jordan have left the company. The turnover at any company in a time of scarcity tends to reflect the perceived benefit to staying and it's to Jonni's credit that he rides this one out for now. His latest release is Bet Your Ass 4, a relatively short movie with an anal theme that sports a great cast in a series of five vignette driven scenes that show tease footage before a formulaic set of actions that lead to anal sex and facials. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used :

Scene One: Sativa Rose, the hotty Latina featured on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up first as she teased the camera with her wonderful body during some thumping (and annoying) music. This led to her masturbating with both of her hands in both of her holes, moving into using a large anal toy to prepare her for the action in the living room setting she was in. The ladies looked great and some of the performances were off the charts in ways but the technical values (audio in particular) and energy levels seemed to be off more than a little so even a fan like me had trouble getting into the action. In short, Bet Your Ass 4 might not have been a losing hand but seemed like a pull of the arm on a slot machine in terms of getting something I could stroke off too, never mind replay value. If you really like the cast of ladies, go ahead and pick up a copy but otherwise, check it out first as a Rent It.
