Extra's: The best extra from my standpoint was the 20 minute Behind the Scenes feature by Ken that included much of the cast goofing off and either getting ready for their scenes or having some sex in between interviews. It was playful and fun but not all that it could have been (and I wished they added the names for everyone, not just a limited few). There was also a pop shot compilation from the scenes, some trailers, a photogallery, some spam and a true second side to the DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Dementia 4 was presented in 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Jim Powers for Sin City. It wasn't the best looking movie he's shot of late but it was well handled on technical levels with some of the lighting causing grain, video noise, and other minor issues. Part of this was thanks to the theme of the show; scenes done in dream sequences at night much of the time, but it was a step up from his last title in the series. I saw no compression artifacts and the flesh tones were accurate, making most of the scenes look relatively good by comparison to previous works of this type by Jim. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English and sounded like an improvement over his last volume in the series, Dementia 3. The use of interesting music wasn't a problem but as expected, it was dubbed in later and as a result the rhythms weren't always quite in synch with the sex; thankfully though, the music wasn't a huge factor in the movie.

Body of Review: Jim Powers has made all kinds of porn in recent years, shooting for a number of companies but often providing his best work for companies like Sin City. His latest release for them is Dementia 4, the thematic sequel to Dementia 3 and Dementia 2 that I reviewed previously. The idea of the series is to showcase women in a sort of feature atmosphere that is light on plot but heavy on sex, appealing to folks that like fetish attire and domination themes to be explored during the movie. As expected, there were some bright moments and some that weren't quite as well handled by the majority of time; I found the cast to be quite strokable and so will most others. There were no condoms used in the scenes and if this interests you so far, here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that this wasn't the roughest sex I've watched in recent months for those that care:

Scene One: Brooke Haven, the curvy cutie, started off the sexual portion of the movie in the shower stall wrapped in a body bag that covered her from head to toe. The strength of the scene was largely the result of Gia and Sasha doing anything that the men wanted, making it a winner of a scene even if it could have been better with more active participation by Hannah.

Scene Six: Annette Schwartz, in a hot looking, form fitting latex outfit, was up next with Hannah Harper in a blue outfit that looked similar, and the massive Lee Stone in a slave outfit that kept his cock from getting any friction. Summary: Dementia 4 by Jim Powers for Sin City was better than Dementia 3 and lighter than Dementia 2 in terms of the depravity and strokability the sex offered but the fuck for the buck seemed to be well within the norm for a title I'd rate with a Recommended nonetheless. If you're looking for something that scratches the edges of acceptability for mainstream porn but also goes slightly too far by feature standards, Dementia 4 will likely get a rise out of you more than a few times, warranting it's value as a keeper. The ladies were a nice selection of hotties that are well known in porn these days with a solid combination of physical attractiveness and sexual skill, combining more often than not in such a way that you'll be happy in your raincoat picking up.
