Extra's: The best extra was the 19 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by an uncredited guy. It had a lot of funny bits where director Pat was screwing around with Isabel Ice and the others but even the other female performers were getting into the fun of things by the looks of it (with some interview footage and extra nudity/sex). The only other extras were a true double sided DVD cover, a cumshot loop, and some trailers to shows like Swallow The Leader 3, Illegal Ass, Hand To Mouth 3, Crack Addict 5, About Face 3, Spanish Harlem, and Cum Beggars 3.

Audio/Video Quality: Sweet Cream Pies 2 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Pat Myne/Danny Case for 3rd Degree. Like his work for Metro, the fleshtones were accurate, the composition of the shots almost always pleasing to the eye (enhancing the look of the gals in every case), a lot of eye to the details. The lighting was very good and this limited the grain, video noise and other potential flaws right from the starting gate. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise, making this a nice looking set of 5 scenes. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was okay but like most gonzo movies, there was little to discuss other than the limited moans, groans, and dirty talk were just fine, if uneventful in most scenes once more. I spot checked the Spanish audio track but the dubbing left something to be desired and it really didn't provide me with a lot of additional value. My biggest issue with the audio track was Danny's decision to provide a running commentary during lengthy portions of the scenes; something I invite him to do in a separate audio commentary that fans can turn off but not as the main track.

Body of Review: Danny Case has really shown a lot of skill in his movies directed for Third Degree Films, making me seek them out when the boxes come in here at DVD Talk. In many ways, he seems to be one of the unsung heroes of heated porn with few knowing who he is or why he can do such a fine job, yet plugging away without the accolades some of his peers seem to routinely thrive on. That said, his latest release for the company is Sweet Cream Pies 2, a movie devoted to internal pop shots that are allowed to drip out at the end of the scene. Most companies tend to fake such scenes, using edits, poor camera angles, or other tricks to convince you that such things really happened when they didn't, something I don't think is commonplace at Third Degree or brother company Zero Tolerance. That said, here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that most of the creampies looked real and that obviously no condoms were employed:

Scene One: Alexis Amore, a sexy little Latina in a small, red satin bikini, was up first as Danny coaxed her through her tease sequence. I wasn't too keen on the warts by her asshole but otherwise, she was a hotty that had a lean body made for speed over comfort. She pranced about the living room in the tease portion of the movie until masturbating and then taking care of Mark Ashley orally on the couch. Scene Two: Lorena Sanchez, a cutie with a few extra pounds of baby fat that helped flesh out her round rump very nicely, was up next as she followed the formula in her yellow satin bikini in the living room. She carried a glass dildo and masturbated much sooner in the initial portion of the scene but maintained a sultry attitude that elevated the heat for me more than a little bit. Her all natural body was a highlight here, making her more appealing for replay purposes then some of the others in the movie. Danny chatted her up for awhile and she responded as requested, providing a solid performance early on in the action. The solo action wasn't bad and she seemed to be too distracted by how much fun she had to follow his orders all that well but it made the scene appear more spontaneous. If you like curvy teens, you'll probably love her given the freshness factor that she managed to instill in the scene (it was one of her last scenes from what I understand, before she left the industry earlier this year). The tease was good and she used one of the plainer glass dildos in the scene to masturbate with on the couch. It wasn't her most inspired scene but she seemed to be on fire in the initial cowgirl (and the oral was solid too) but she largely coasted after that with John Strong showing her all he had to offer. I found her to be very attractive in her short career and it's a shame that she paced herself (both in the scene and in her career) so much but that's how it goes sometimes. This was the one case in the movie that I'd bet the creampie was faked since the camera cut away when he pulled his perfectly clean cock out of her, to find the return edit showing her formerly clean cookie to have an impossibly large amount of a white substance that looked more like something whipped up in the kitchen evenly spread out in it (nice try Danny!). Overall, as much as I picked up the movie for her performance, it lowered my appreciation of the entire movie due to the theatric trickery and general lack of heat/chemistry.

Summary: Sweet Cream Pies 2 by Danny Case for Third Degree Films started and ended on low notes but the richly textured middle scenes were pretty solid thanks to Lorena, Sara and Isabel showing they were into the action. The extras were kind of light too and while the technical values were decent, Danny couldn't stop talking during large portions of the scenes and that tipped the scales in favor of renting this one as a Rent It. In short, the excesses of Sweet Cream Pies 2 were not always handled in favor of the program and it needed a lot of polishing up and fine tuning to achieve Danny's usual level of quality so I hope he comes up with something better next time; something that should be easy enough considering how large the body of quality work he has shot has been in the past.
