Extra's: For many of you, the best extra will be the bonus scene between Jessica Drake and Brad Armstrong from The Fling. It was short and sweet but had a lot to offer so I described it below. Personally, I enjoyed the 19.5 minute long Behind the Scene feature by talented Red Ezra more but I already have the movie mentioned before (reviewed it too) and prefer unique extras in my movies. There was more sex, nudity, and short interviews as Red meandered around the sets of the flick, talking with cast and crew, spending a lot of time getting the inside scoop from director Brad (who wore an interesting jumpsuit at one point; insider joke). The 5.5 minute long Blooper Reel was funny too, containing some of the usual slips the people make while a movie is made. This led to numerous photogalleries (5) and Star Stats (4), the 2006 Promotional Reel, spam, DVD Catalog of Wicked Pictures titles, the usual DVD ROM material, and trailers to movies like The Visitors, Gossip, Eternity, Camp Cuddly Pines, Hook Ups, Curse Eternal, (but none for Fuck, Manhunters, or other new titles; curious...). There was also a cardboard protective sleeve on the DVD case and a double sided cover for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: House Sitter was presented in the same 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen color if was shot in by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures. Shot on 16mm film, the usual problems with grain appeared in most of the night scenes. This is exaggerated by the transfer to DVD yet the overall look of the movie was pretty good (though not great as I'd heard through the grapevine). There were some moments with heavy grain but the composition of the scenes showed Brad's skill with directing nearly as much as his director of photography's (Francois Clousot) inherent talent. There were some compression artifacts but they really weren't a big issue for me as infrequent as they were here. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track, or 2.0 Dolby Digital tracks in Spanish, German, Greek, French, or Italian. I'm not fluent enough in any of those languages to made definitive comments about them but they typically sounded funny to me; much like watching some of the old Godzilla movies from my childhood. The main track did have some separation between the channels but most of it appeared to be related to the musical score, which was very pleasantly handled; adding value and enhancing the mood of the movie more often then not.

Randy is one of the best actors in porn today.

Body of Review: Brad Armstrong is currently the guy responsible for making most of the big budget extravaganzas over at feature porn production house Wicked Pictures. The company is the leader in such titles at this time though they have been making some quality smaller budget releases too. One of these to be released of late is a thriller starring the lovely Jessica Drake called House Sitter, a movie about a gal hired to watch a rich man's house that has to deal with a stalker. While it might not have been as fun and entertaining to watch as Manhunters, it was a lot better than most porn as a movie as well as a stroke flick. The cover said it like this: "She Has Him Just Where He Wants Her" From director Brad Armstrong comes an emotional thriller that will mesmerize the mind and excite the senses. Teresa (Jessica Drake) is a house sitter with a long list of references. Kevin Kline (Randy Spears) is a thief with a long rap sheet. Their lives collide when Kline begins an unrelenting journey to gain entry to the house and take something that belongs to him. He watches her every move with calculated precision, planning, plotting. Will he succeed in his sinister plan? Or will Teresa protect her pristine reputation and prevent the robbery? Only the House Sitter knows for sure." In all, it was a sweet little movie that proves you don't need a huge budget to provide entertainment on multiple levels, notable for some of the most consistently solid sex scenes I've seen from the company in months. Here's a brief breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were incorporated into the scenes, sometimes very nicely:

Scene One: Jasmine Byrne, one of the hottest Latinas in porn, was up first in bed with Brad Armstrong, as he went down on her willing body orally (and digging for clams). She responded well to his tongue and was soon slobbing his knob with the kind of passion and enthusiasm that I only wish I could get in real life. Her fine ass sticking up in the air, she played with his balls too but made it clear that she was getting off by giving him pleasure. This led to her actively impaling herself on his cock, starting slowly but working it up to a frenzy in no time. After a few vaginal positions, she was bent over in doggy to do anal, thrusting back to meet his advances as she cried out in a mix of pleasure and pain. The scene ended in a facial to allow the story to begin, but it was a very solid opener for Wicked, and established Brad's character perfectly.

Scene Two: Jessica Drake, the hot contract gal on the front DVD cover, was up next after she invited Barrett Blade over to spend some quality time with her. Their clothes didn't last long but I found it slightly refreshing as to how the condom issue was raised (something the company might consider more frequently in the future in fact). He ate her out on the couch in the darkened room, leading to her fine hummer in return. She then actively rode his cock vaginally, increasing the tempo as she went along, until he popped out his load on her face. I'd suggest Wicked loses the need for a facial every time in keeping with the condoms or at least playing it differently from time to time but the scene was well done and as much as I wanted more, they projected some sparks here.

Scene Three: Shy Love, wearing a neon pink bra, was up next in bed with aging lothario Joey Ray, as she rode his cock harder then anyone else in the movie. The scene started halfway over as part of the plot but her sense of abandon during the vaginal screwing was top notch and mixing it up a bit always strikes me as a way to keep things interesting. They did several positions and it ended when his modest load hit her crotch all while Jessica watched them (in a tribute to all you voyeurs out there).

Scene Four: Exotica, playing a feisty housekeeper in bed, was up next with studly Tommy Gunn after fussing at Jessica in her native language. She slowly and seductively blew him to the only music in the movie that seemed off kilter for the surroundings, working him up to a full erection as he fingered her. The gal knows how to suck a dick, that's for sure! She then got some oral loving from him when she sat on his face, moving over to ride him like she wanted him after that. Several positions later he was rubbing out a load to her face. It wasn't her best work but they seem to work well together in their scenes; showing more than a little chemistry and enthusiasm.

Scene Five: Jessica Drake, playing voyeur once more with the telescope, was bent over to let curvy Brandi Wylde get access to her shapely ass. Both ladies seemed to be skilled in the art of pleasing another woman so the lesbian scene of the movie can be safely classified as two thumbs up from this reviewer. There was fingering, licking, and some cool glass toy use as the ladies sought to get one another off. The editing and camera work could've been tightened up slightly but that's splitting little curly hairs in regards to the warm manner in which they engaged one another by the picture window at night on the lounging chair. It was kind of interesting that they each left some clothing on as that made it seem more real to me.

Scene Six: Jessica Drake, Jenaveve Jolie, Lauren Phoenix, Kelly Wells, Derrick Pierce, Kris Knight, and Barrett Blade, were up next in a big orgy scene that allowed the partners to freely roam about and spent some quality time with the partners they most wanted to be with. Contrast this to the majority of such scenes where the specific partners are locked in early and not allowed to stray to understand why I found it appealing. The ladies were all well suited for the scene and Jessica looked great as did Jenaveve. Rather than play out a virtual sex script, they seemed to carry on in a natural progression, doing a lot of oral before boning like crazy. The camera roved about in order to capture it all down but aside from wishing there had been another camera angle or two that remained static, the penetrative portions of the scene just as well as the oral. The music here wasn't bad but the vocals had a lot going on that I wished was picked up better though this is a minor complaint. With lots of taste testing and and the expected pop shots, it ended well enough.

Scene Seven: Shy Love, looking even better than before, was all dolled up on the couch in her thigh high boots as she submitted to Randy Spears while her tied up husband watched. She proved that her oral skills were just fine (having skipped out on that part earlier) as she slobbed his knob as though they were old friends, showing some excitement at the prospect of the danger home invader Randy represented. She also showed that she was very capable at riding actively during anal sex, bouncing at least as hard on his cock as she had on Joey in the earlier action she partook in. The ending facial was one of the largest of the movie, finishing up the sex portion of the movie on yet another high note.

Bonus Scene: The Fling: Jessica Drake, looking again like a million bucks, was up next with real life partner Brad Armstrong after Randy had troubles with numerous gals like Mia Smiles, Tory Lane and Taylor Hilton. The modern fireplace lit the living room in a pleasant fashion for them and each explored the other orally with a lot more chemistry and energy than I was expecting. They did some 69 and he fingered her ass in preparation for the anal sex that took place after the more conventional acts, with me thinking how much better this one was then the previous scenes all put together. If the whole movie had centered around this scene and it had been fleshed out substantially, I'd have loved the title yet the problem with plotted porn focusing on relationships is that having great scenes between everyone is something of a betrayal of the conceptual themes (if you're happy in bed, you have no need to cheat). In any case, Jessica was really active here and I appreciated how the lighting limitations were as bothersome this time as they were in parts of the other scenes. The scene ended in a facial for those who care but the sum of the passion was better than the individual parts of the scene.

Summary: House Sitter by director Brad Armstrong may not win a lot of awards or gather a lot of critical acclaim but it was certainly above average as a feature and for the stroke value offered, thanks in large part to an excellent cast like Jessica Drake and Randy Spears as well as the tightly written plot that allowed them to display their acting chops to full advantage. The fuck for the buck, stroke and replay value, casting, and quality of the sex scenes made this one well worth a rating of Highly Recommended as a feature, proving Brad's skill is not reliant on budget alone. In short, House Sitter was another step forward in the evolution of Wicked Pictures for the niche they seek to dominate, offering more than just sex to a market overwhelmed with the gonzo productions that are so easy to churn out assembly line style. A solid effort all around!
