Extra's: There was a bonus Easter Egg quiz that could be found on the second page of the menu screen, answering some trivia to bring you to a bonus scene by Jill Kelly and a female friend whose name escapes me. This extra was used elsewhere too so it had less value for me but it lasted nearly 17 minutes and fans will like it. Otherwise, there were only some minimal Star Bios, a trailers for Eye Candy Refocused, Timeless, a photogallery, a bit on the multiple angles used, and a jump to the scene bit too.

Audio/Video Quality: Sorority Shower Cam was presented in the originally filmed 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures back in July 2000 (filmed at the same time as Sorority Sex Kittens 4, Sorority Sex Kittens 5, and Ten Little Angels). The picture was crystal clear and had a wonderfully diverse cast as seen on the front DVD cover. The fleshtones were accurate thanks in large part to the flat and plentiful lighting, eliminating grain and other visual defects in a manner I wish contemporary companies would at least consider. This was another one of the early Holliday flicks that made great strides to cleaning up the picture and camerawork substantially and should be recognized as such. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English but the vocals appeared to be looped in a few cases, the dialogue slightly wooden at times, and it sounded hollow less frequently than previous volumes in the series. The music was trademark Jim Holliday style with Reno & the Rumrunners as well as Hollis Dietz & Twilight Thunder on backup duty. There was a slightly wider range of music here for those who care but the movie seemed to be more of an after thought or filler in between the other three movies made at the same time.

Body of Review: Jim Holliday directed increasing numbers of movies for VCA Pictures as the new millennium came about, often knocking out three or so at a time to lower production costs, increase the number of ladies he could have appearing in sexual and cameo roles, and to keep the suits off his back. The end results were sometimes mixed as scripts were tossed out midstream in favor of concentrating on the action. One suck time was in July of 2000 when Jim made Sorority Shower Cam concurrently with Sorority Sex Kittens 4, Sorority Sex Kittens 5, and Ten Little Angels. Of all four movies, this one had the most flaws (even though this appearance by the directing/screenwriting legend known as DCypher was classically funny and his counterpart in crime Root Loggins also a gem). The movie was another sorority themed flick with a lot of the usual gals in porn used to portray gals substantially younger with the frat boys trying to one up the ladies; something that would never happen in a Jim Holliday movie. The back cover said it like this: "Ever see the one where a bunch of nerds help the Fraternity slobs spy on the naked Sorority sweethearts? You sure have...at least a dozen times or more. But you've never seen it with the Jim Holliday touch. Tons of T&A tease, the expected sizzling sex scenes and a story that's beyond stupid. All the elements necessary to make SORORITY SHOWER CAM rise above the routine porn fodder." It was all good clean fun, albeit with a number of limitations that led me to think it was the bastard stepchild of the four movies shot at the same time. Still, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that there was a lot of partial scenes going on here too and that condoms were used in all the scenes with guys in them:

Scene One: Chrissy Sparks and Allysin Chaynes, a couple of all natural little blondes, were up first in the shower as they engaged in some lesbian loving. Like all Holliday flicks, the rimming and toe work were plentiful and scene was more of a teaser for things to come; forgoing toys to concentrate on tongue and fingering.

Scene Two: Sydnee Steele, the hot brunette on the lower left hand corner, was up next with buff boy Dillion Day on a bed. She jumped his bones and reminded him of a deal they had about information for sex, both of them getting what they wanted from the other. He supplied her with some facts and she supplied him with a hummer and handjob that would have me spying for her too. As expected, he rimmed and ate her out in return, resulting in a couple of vaginal positions where they actively hit it hard. The pop went to her abdomen and they seemed to appreciate each other's skill level in the scene.

Scene Three: Barrett Moore, a freckled redhead with a ripe ass, was up next on the couch with Devin Wolf. He serviced her breasts and she sucked his cock; a fair trade by any standard. They did a 69, some foot fetish, and then went to anal with her looking more like a MILF then a gal going to college. She was passive in taking the anal but at least gave up a lot of dirty talk, him pounding away at her pucker as though drilling for oil before he rubbed out a modest load to her face.

Scene Four: Felecia, one of the most notable lesbians in porn for years, and cute Envy, the darker haired gals on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, were up next in the shower since the Jacuzzi proved to be too cold. Felecia's tan lines were sweet and the gals went at one another to some uncharacteristically slow music (almost from a Mexican western flick). They then took the act to the bed where they continued their oral assault on one another, eating box and using a large dildo to stretch the walls of their coochies. Other toys came into play but the scene ended too soon to reach a climax.

Scene Five: Jeanie Rivers and Phoenix Haight started to eat each other out as part of a show to keep geeky Devan Sapphire off balance, with some of the other gals nearby but not actually getting any true action or screen time to speak of. He jerked off onto the shower stall window for them but that was all there was here.

Scene Six: Allysin Chaynes, the skinny little blonde from earlier, was up next outside on a blanket with aging lothario Mark Vega under the shade of some trees. There was oral and vaginal sex but it was too rapidly captured to allow the chemistry they showed to really shine. She was an active ride and I only wish the scene didn't come across as so rushed. The ending pop shot went mostly to her neck but a few drops hit her face too.

Scene Seven: Sydnee Steele and Envy, were up next on the couch as they played some more of the established theme of lesbian sex. This included a lot of cookie eating, fingering, and rimming before the toy play became an issue. They even moved it into the shower, a great place to capture their lathering up and gyrating. For some reason though, the scene went back to the couch, making me wonder what the heck was going on (too many setting swaps doesn't work very well in my not so humble opinion).

Scene Eight: Tina Cheri, a busty implant queen with lightened hair, was up with the massive Lee Stone in bed. He ate her clam, then she sucked him off before they boned vaginally and anally for about a minute or two; ending with a load to her mouth. The truncated scene looked like it might be fun until it ended so soon.

Sort of: Scene Nine: Sydnee Steele, Phoenix Haight, Allysin Chaynes, and Tina Cheri, all allowed Dillion Day to pay homage to their feet orally for his misdeeds. There was more sex in the clips of action surrounding the scene (where the ladies were nude and soapy) but it was listed as a scene so I mention it here.

Summary: Sorority Shower Cam by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures had some attractive ladies and decent sex but it also suffered from gaping holes in the storyline and uncompleted sex scenes. The extras were all retreads and as much as I enjoyed parts of the movie, much of it seemed to fail to live up to the potential of the cast and crew (even the mighty Evan Stone was used on camera). In short then, Sorority Shower Cam was worthy of a Rent It for fans of the ladies and director but few will reasonably argue it was one of Jim's better movies. Perhaps he spread himself too thin when making the other movies at the same time, resulting in overreaching his boundaries.
