Extra's: For most people, the best extra will be the POV bonus scene between Jada Fire and director Tim Von Swine described below. It lasted about 16 minutes and served to remind me of the fringe benefits one gets from directing porn. The next best extra was easily the 25 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It had more sex, lots of nudity, and the cast & crew doing their thing with some humor. There was some posing for the photogallery and a couple of choice comments as well, adding to the value of the entire package. Audio/Video Quality: Black and White was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Tim Von Swine for release by Shane's World. But for the logo on the box cover, I'd have never guessed it was a Shane's World production since the style was unlike what they've provided previously (this being a gonzo movie instead of a travelogue for example). The lighting was generally decent, limiting the grain and video noise but the composition of the shots wasn't always favorable to the cast and the editing was definitely a mixed bag. The point of view (POV) style was used from time to time but not as much as one of his dedicated titles for those who care (for that, watch the bonus scene). In all though, the flesh tones were accurate and composition of the shots favorable to capturing the heated moments of the cast as the knob slobbing proceeded in all sorts of twisted ways. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a bit of a mixture of quality too. It can be difficult getting good sound during blow bangs and Tim seemed to pay some attention here by trying to reduce the extraneous noise to a minimum.

Body of Review: Tim Von Swine is one of the rare breed in porn; he is unapologetic in stating what he likes to shoot in his porn and doesn't mince words when confronted about it. He has worked for several companies, most recently spending some quality time with the folks at Shane's World. His latest title to hit the stores is Black and White (made under the working title of Black Heat, White Hot) a generic sounding title that has been used numerous times in the past 30 years. I'll be the first one to admit that the movie looked much like it could have been released at any of the major gonzo companies but seeing Shane's World expanding their boundaries is a good thing too. The stroke, replay, and fuck for the buck values were all solid with the raw energy of Von Swine's usual technical skills with some fine cast to speak of too. In short, Black and White was one that you'll like if you find couples into one another having a good time on your preferred list (especially interracial couples). In all, it was fun and you'll probably appreciate it more with time too.
