Extra's: My favorite extras were the three extended "Phat Cut" scenes that added thirty minutes to the movie (you could watch them as integrated into the flick or separately). This was an area that VCA Pictures was experimenting with that few other companies stepped up to add in over the years and it really juiced up the value of the DVD for me. I also really liked the audio commentary by Jim Holliday, Allysin Chaynes, and Felecia, though Jim was the most active talker by far (you had to know that was the case, yes?). Still, in terms of finding out what Jim was going for, some answers to those mythical questions of his, and anecdotes worthy of the legend, the commentary is the place to go. There were also some minimal Star Bios, a trailers for movies like Paradise Hole, LA Fashion Girls, Eye Candy Refocused, a photogallery, a bit on the multiple angles used, and a jump to the scene bit too.
Note: There was no Behind the Scenes feature found after extensive searching (I thought it might be present in an Easter Egg, especially when I saw the ending credits suggesting Wit Maverick handled it).

Audio/Video Quality: Little Town Flirts was presented in the originally filmed 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures back in December 2001 (filmed at the same time as High Desert Dream Girls, with assistance by Evan Stone as credited by Jim in the commentary track). The picture was mostly clear and had a wonderfully diverse cast as seen on the front DVD cover. The fleshtones were accurate thanks in large part to the flat and plentiful lighting, eliminating grain and other visual defects in a manner I wish contemporary companies would at least consider. This was one of the mid-term Holliday flicks where some budget considerations came into play, coming off as decent looking but the best the man had to offer at this stage in his career. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English but the vocals appeared to be looped in a few cases, the dialogue slightly wooden at times, and it sounded hollow less frequently than previous volumes in the series. The music was trademark Jim Holliday style with Reno & the Rumrunners. There was the normal range of music here for those who care but the movie seemed to be more of an after thought or filler in between the other movie made at the same time.

Body of Review: Jim Holliday was always looking to provide fans with what they wanted to see, even before they knew it in some cases. That was why he worked so well for VCA Pictures as the DVD format took off; he routinely provided extras that few companies cared about, putting the company well ahead of the curve more often then not. Towards the end of 2001, he shot Little Town Flirts, a movie about a pool tournament concurrently with High Desert Dream Girls, using the casts fluidly to offer up more for less as the saying goes. The cover said it like this: "When was the last time you caught an original 10 SCENE sex flick??? Oh, was it the previous Holliday movie? The one director who cares most about fans, not by using lip service like some others, but by continually supplying double value...comes through again. Little Town Flirts (inspired by a classic Del Shannon hit song and by the director's extended 1989 interview with the late rock hall-of-famer) is all about the high desert hamlet of Deuce, CA (pop. 1703)...Get ready for the 27th annual Outdoor Billiards and Beanbag World Championships. Every year the cute college coeds of Deuce can't wait to screw all the competitors. Who needs more plot? Who wins the tournament? The audience as always." It was a fun little fluff flick and the cast was well handled so I found it to have the kind of replay value many movies made back then simply don't offer in terms of standing the tests of time. Here's a brief glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used on all the males:

Scene One: Allysin Chaynes, the leading lady as featured on the left hand side of the cover, was up first with Mark Vega as she sucked his cock rather well before the credits rolled. Her eye contact was solid and she was soon actively riding his dick vaginally, sporting a condom. Scene Three: Jenna Haze, (lower left hand corner beside Allysin) in one of her early scenes, curvy Gina Ryder (sitting above her), and Felecia (lower right hand corner with the bandana), were up next as they went down on each other in the back of a pickup truck's bed. The rimming was center stage, with the face sitting and rubbing adding in some fun; notable in that no toys were used until the very end.

Scene Four: Jenna Haze, up again in an outdoor air raid shelter, was up in the open with the mighty Evan Stone as he ate her toes and went down on her to the point she was turned on. Her oral has never been finer and the extended version was even better before they began hammering away at one another. Scene Six: Kelly Warner, the blonde on the top (second from the right), gave up some MILF action to the mighty Evan Stone in the mayor's office. Her oral skills were solid and fans of older gals will find her perfectly cast in the role as she handled the sex as well (actually better) than her lines. Scene Seven: Tawny Roberts, the hotty on the upper right hand corner of the front cover, was up next with Felecia in a scene at night. It was reportedly very cold when this was made and the noise from the heaters wasn't too bad thanks to post production work, the lesbian action suiting just fine. It was oral only but a lot of fun oral for those who care about such scenes as much as I do.

Scene Eight: Allysin Chaynes, Kelsey Hart, and Kelly Warner, were up next in another lesbian scene where the ladies spent an endless time going down on one another. There was the usual rimming and some toe sucking but it showed the gals were into one another and this kind of action, elevating the heat of the scene a bit for me.

Scene Nine: Gina Ryder, looking even better this time, was pawing at loser Dale Dabone, inside Beppo's Bar & Grill on the bed. They kissed and felt each other up, doing the usual oral and vaginal action. Her lipstick covered his cock in no time, leading to her bouncing on his cock as though they were long lost lovers, with several positions being provided as she yelled out. They looked like a real couple here and he ripped into her ass like he was giving her a going away present, doing the work as he pounded deep inside her. There were no toys and the pair seemed to be a fine couple having fun.

Summary: Little Town Flirts by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures was worth a rating of Recommended for the ladies, the technical values, and the amounts of fuck for the buck as augmented by the sweet package of extras. These days, the adage companies seem to live by is getting less while spending more, turning things around on loyal consumers so a title like this works even better by comparison. In short, Little Town Flirts was fun in the sun, fluffy and more fun than anything except actually getting laid in terms of this type of movie so check it out.
