Audio/Video Quality: Hard Candy 3 was presented in what appeared to be a 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as originally shot by the talented Robby D. for Handheld Pictures to be distributed by Digital Playground. The lighting was very good in all the scenes, limiting most of the grain and video noise during the sex. The amount of shadows were also limited, thanks to the seasoned eye of director Robby, this being one of the few times when he was the sole production staff credited to the project. The composition of the shots enhanced the look of the gals in every case although the limitations of the gonzo format prevented Robby from truly innovating much here. Thankfully, the goal of gonzo porn is not to be innovative so much as convey heated performances, something this series has long been established as providing in spades. The other good news is that the DVD mastering was as good as ever and I didn't see any compression artifacts. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English where the vocals were likely captured in monaural but the limited music and sound effects were added in on the other channels. In large part, this being a gonzo release means the audio wasn't a huge concern but the vocals were clearly discernable and added to the heat of the scenes.

Body of Review: Robby D. and his company Handheld Pictures currently have all their works distributed by Digital Playground. This makes a lot of sense since he's their leading director, cameraman, and general go to guy on their own flicks; having established a rapport over the years they've been affiliated. His latest title for his label is Hard Candy 3; a series of five gonzo scenes that emphasize young ladies having sex in a variety of boner inducing scenarios that most of us can identify with on some level or another. Robby was largely quiet this time, allowing the performers to generate their own heat and comments in all but a single case, and I think fans of youthful ladies that haven't been in hundreds of scenes will find the line up very appealing. If you're still interested, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms or MILFs were used in the scenes:

My sneak peek of the movie proved to be another case of Robby delivering the goods, although another scene and some extras would've truly sweetened the deal.
