Extra's: I really liked the audio commentary by Jim Holliday and Shayla LaVeaux though Jim was the most active talker of the two (you had to know that was the case, yes?). Still, in terms of finding out what Jim was going for, some answers to those mythical questions of his, and anecdotes worthy of the legend, the commentary is the place to go. The 22 minute Behind the Scenes feature by Wit Maverick (shot for this one and Too Many Blonde Moments at the same time with footage from each) was fun too. There was more nudity and the cast having a playful time of it; making the time slip away as a result. Fans will find it enjoyable though. There were also some minimal Star Bios, trailers for movies like Eye Candy Refocused, Perfect Smiles, LA Fashion Girls, a photogallery, a bit on the multiple angles used, an Easter Egg for the contest matching faces and asses on the front & back cover (on the star bio section) and a jump to the scene bit too.

Audio/Video Quality: Floss was presented in the originally filmed 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures back in February 2002 (filmed at the same time as Too Many Blonde Moments, with assistance by Evan Stone as credited by Jim in the commentary track). The picture was crystal clear and had a wonderfully diverse cast as seen on the front DVD cover. The fleshtones were accurate thanks in large part to the flat and plentiful lighting, eliminating grain and other visual defects in a manner I wish contemporary companies would at least consider. This was one of the Holliday flicks where some budget considerations came into play, coming off as decent looking but not the best the man had to offer at this stage in his career. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English but the vocals appeared to be looped in a few cases, the dialogue slightly wooden at times, and it sounded hollow less frequently than previous volumes in the series. The music was trademark Jim Holliday style with Reno & the Rumrunners with Jan, Darryl, & the Steamrollers on back up duties this time. There was the normal range of music here for those who care but the movie seemed to be more of an after thought or filler in between the other movie made at the same time.

Body of Review: Jim Holliday was often referred to as one of the porn king's of the obscure; making twisted little plots and offering up weird little trivia for most of his VCA Picture features. As the 2000's progressed, his shooting schedule accelerated substantially; assisted by the way he shot multiple movies at the same time. In early 2002, he shot the subject of today's review Floss and Too Many Blonde Moments in such a way that all the usual tricks were covered with lots of performers getting some screen time but never so much that you'd want the scenes edited. The plot this time revolved around a fashion designer seeking to design the ultimate bikini but the sexual fun was why fans kept coming back. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used in all the scenes that men were poking women in:

Scene One: Violet Blue, back in her blonde days, was up first with the mighty Evan Stone as he poked her pucker with a purple dildo. She's the gal on the middle of the right hand side of the front cover (spot #6) and she took the dildo all the way in with my only issue being all the bruises she sported on her body. That was the sole focus on the scene though with no oral or penis play for those who care.

Scene Two: Chandler, the hotty blonde on the upper right hand corner of the cover, was up next in what amounted to a scorching scene with the mighty Evan Stone. You can argue that she was (or wasn't) the best looking gal of the movie but she was very much into the action here as she inhaled his knob on the bed before he picked her up and sat her on his face. His oral was about as short as hers was but just as intense, leading to some fun vaginal penetration. They moved into anal after that with his massive girth testing her resolve in more ways then one. It was a hot scene even if she was too passive for my usual tastes.

Scene Three: Bunny Luv (upper middle), Felecia (dead center, brunette), Allysin Chaynes (middle left), and August (another curvy brunette but not on the cover), had a scene that started with foot licking action by August and Allysin before August disappeared and the others joined Allysin in the living room. The rimming, cunnilingus, and fingering were very appealing here. The ladies had some fine chemistry together and that made it a standout scene for the ladies.

Scene Four: Shayla LaVeaux (upper left hand corner), Allysin Chaynes, and Dillion Day, were up next as they knelt before his ready tongue to get some rimming on the bed. The gals gave him a sloppy blowjob and then took turns screwing, resulting in Shayla taking him in her ass before the pop shot went to the feet for the gals to rub together and then lick clean.

Scene Five: Summer Storm (bottom center), was the next curvy blonde in the bed with Dillion Day. He went down on her and she seemed to appreciate his attention to every nook and cranny of her asshole. She wasn't given much of a chance to blow him but the vaginal screwing was pretty intense as he tried to tear her a new one; moving to anal as active as anyone in the movie did anything. She was an aggressive cock rider and the resulting load to her mouth was huge!

Scene Six: Mia Starr (a brunette not on the cover), Felecia, and Evan Stone were up in another very short scene that focused largely on oral action with the gals getting rimming and eaten out. Sadly, it ended too quickly and the scene suffered as a result.

Scene Seven: Chandler, still on the prowl in the bed, was up next as she was eaten out by Dillion Day in the bed; even licking her own feet as he went to town. He enjoyed her pucker too but it was how they screwed with a sense of enthusiasm that really made it a fine scene to enjoy repeatedly. I thought she had more chemistry with Evan but he always seemed to offer up a lot of focused energy too; making the scene a solid bit to enjoy. The commentary was pointed towards critics and reviewers (nothing new but a bit old by this point in his career) but the scene was pretty active in both pussy and ass so fans will be happy with it. It ended with Dillion's largest pop shot of the flick.

Scene Eight: Tanya Danielle (lower left hand corner), Carolyn Monroe (lower right hand corner), and Allysin Chaynes, were up last in their neon pink swimwear in the dressing room. They did a lot of oral, stripped slowly in a teasing fashion, and spent lots of time on toe sucking, rimming, and other tricks. There were toys used this time but as in almost all Holliday lesbian scenes, the emphasis was on oral all the way.

Summary: Floss by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures had enough fuck for the buck, solid hotties, and technical excellence combined with sweet extras to warrant a rating of Recommended. If you like Holliday's movies, this was a fluffy little feature you'll be enjoying for a long time to come, proving it withstood the test of time very nicely. I only wish that Jessica Drake wasn't under contract with Sin City at the time it was made since she was in the BTS feature looking especially hot. In short though, Floss will have you wanting to floss with the butt floss the ladies were adorned with in their scenes, showing that Holliday knew how to keep a fan's attention for extended periods of time.
