Extra's: The only extra on the DVD was a 7.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature comprised largely of deleted footage on a non-sex nature. The cover listed a photogallery and cumshot compilation that were not on the DVD (while I don't care for either of those extras, I do care that the advertised material was not present). There was also a cardboard slipcase (often referred to as an "O-Ring") that was a duplicate of the cover.

Audio/Video Quality: The Adventures of Shorty Mac 1 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as credited to director Xavier Thomas for Black Market. Having watched the movie and the BTS feature, I have no doubt that the credited cameraman, lighting expert, and other production crew worker Tim Von Swine was the actual director or at least co-director (just like I believe Robby D. is the director for Celeste's movies, Mike Quasar handles the movies for Greg Alves, and a few other notable cases of directorial credits gone awry), a good thing considering how talented the guy can be. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting solid enough in most cases to provide good visuals, and the composition of the scenes appeared to enhance the looks of the ladies in most cases. I saw no compression artifacts but the DVD seemed to be poorly mastered (when going back to fine tune some comments in my review, I had problems accessing portions directly). The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital with a little bit of rap music but largely dependent on the vocals to instill a sense of the fun and heat from the scenes. There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was moderate for those who care.

Body of Review: Xavier Thomas is the latest director in porn to delegate most of his production responsibilities to another man, Tim Von Swine for the Black Market release of The Adventures of Shorty Mac 1; the company's second outing. The company was established earlier this year by James and Jodi Melendy (formerly employees at Anarchy Pictures) in an effort to provide something different from the generic product flooding the market this year. This is the first release by the company that I've seen and it detailed the misadventures of a short black man, Shorty Mac, with a large cock as he tried to pick up white women in suburban southern California. There was a lot of humor and fans of well endowed men will appreciate the size disparities in play. If you're still interested, here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Roxy West, a brunette with a lean figure and girl next door face, was up first with funny Shorty Mac in his messy crib. His lines were so weak that she even caught herself laughing at him as Tim rode him the whole time about his inability to score with the ladies. She was the gal on the front cover with his member in her mouth so you know there was no play here as she "sucked a mean dick" and her neon colored outfit quickly came off once they went into the studio lit bedroom. He might not have been as well endowed as Shane Diesel, Jack Napier, or Lexington Steele but his Tone Loc wannabe routine was actually pretty funny as contrasted by Tim's straight man commentary. Roxy liked large black cock in her mouth and pussy but she wasn't equipped to actively handle it so he did most of the work. Her overacting was a bit much too take but it was all in good fun as he rubbed her raw. She took the facial at the end and she was quite vocal, making it worth a look at this bedroom scene.

Scene Two: Kelly "Fuckin" Wells, one of the extreme queens in porn, was out looking for shoes when approached by Shorty Mac after he and Tim drove along the shopping center looking to prove or disprove his ability to pick up ladies. When they arrived back in his dumpy home, they found a drunken Wesley Pipes lying on the bed (he had snuck through the open window) but she didn't mind as she flashed them. The dynamic was that she was a freak seeking thrills so after some tease footage, she started working them over orally and with her holes. She seemed most active during the anal and Wesley maintained a stiffer erection than his pal but she seemed to enjoy the ride nonetheless. Scene Three: Brooke Scott, a curvy gal with some love handles to hold onto, was up next as she loaded her purchases into her SUV. Shorty Mac jumped out to show Tim that he wasn't just lucky in the first two cases, though I was surprised to see that none of the store signs were blocked out as is usually the case (I'm not going to name names just in case the company gets in trouble though). Fans of gals built for comfort over speed will find her as appealing as I did, providing a freshness missing in most porn these days. Her large natural breasts did not hurt her appeal either as her green top came off to reveal some sweet fun bags. The pink panties were barely covered by her blue jean skirt but she did not mind the dumpy bedroom and house as she showed how she was going to act with Shorty. When it came time, she was pleasantly surprised herself with his large member but her oral was weak and the ride too passive for my tastes. She did rock a little bit but she was no size queen, so her taking him at all was as best that could be expected. As with all the scenes, as soon as he busted his nut on her face, he was hurrying her out the door with an abusive Tim backing him up with some dismissive comments for humorous purposes.

Scene Four: Vanessa Figueroa, a tiny gal with black hair picked up at a fast food restaurant, did not let a language barrier stop her from letting Shorty Mac have her. She slipped a bit and spoke English, laughing at his attempt to mack on her as she stripped off her clothing. Her ass was nicely disproportionate to her tiny frame but looking at her all natural frame head on will best serve those of you into very petite women. Sexually, she was no better then most of the others, with little cocksucking going on after he ate her cookie. When she was on top, she actively rode him but otherwise it was a pretty good scene too (like the others, combining a sense of absurd humor with the sexual misconduct of Shorty). She also did anal but it was far from her most active ride, the scene ending with a mouth pop.

Summary: The Adventures of Shorty Mac 1 by director Xavier Thomas for Black Market was worth a Rent It from me since most of the misogynist humor had limited replay, some of the advertised extras were not present, and the women were largely unable to handle the action in the movie. If future volumes of the series utilize ladies more sexually able to handle large cocks, that rating will likely change for the better, especially if the technical matters get better on the mastering of the DVD. In short, while The Adventures of Shorty Mac 1 was a diamond in the rough, the potential for the series was clearly evident with Tim apparently at the helm and fans of a wannabe rapper scoring with women and then dumping them will probably find the levels of fuck for the buck even higher so check it out.
