Extra's: The best extras will be the 6 bonus scenes that I described below; three each for the two discs comprising the package. The scenes were related in the sense that each group of them starred the spotlighted gal from the disc (one disc had Naomi while the other had Sascha Grey) but your personal mileage will vary according to how many of the scenes you already own or have seen during previous rentals. There were two separate and short Behind the Scenes features; a 7.5 minute long one for Naomi's disc and a 9 minute long one for Sasha's disc; each providing a pop shot compilation and photogallery (along with the cardboard box holding the two discs and the double sided DVD covers).

Audio/Video Quality: Gang Bang 5 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director John Strong for release by Red Light District, with him, Jake Malone, and Martin Del Toro working the other cameras. As is usually the case, the lighting was decent and this limited the amount of grain to a bare minimum but there were some shadows at times. The composition of the camera angles wasn't always the best it could be to enhance the look of the ladies but the editing and other aspects of the show covered most of the flaws well enough to keep me from complaining too loudly. There was no light watermark on the lower right hand corner; yet another release by the company that gives loyal fans what they want. The problem with large gang bangs is that with so many participants, it can be tough to capture all the action without interfering with the proceedings, something a number of directors have done in the past (barking out orders or distracting the cast in other ways). The DVD had no compression artifacts and seemed to be mastered fairly well too. The audio was presented in the standard 2.0 Dolby Digital but the vocals, while clear, were about what I expected from a gonzo production.

Body of Review: John Strong has always appeared to be a gentleman and courteous in his dealings with me so it should come as no surprise that I like a lot of his work in gonzo porn. While he has worked elsewhere, his directing and performing work for Red Light District has shown a fair amount of growth, though to be fair, his strong suit is to simply let the performers be who they are and allow them to push their limits as far as they are willing to do. Unlike some directors that focus on arty farty styles of direction, he simply records what takes place and many fans seem to appreciate this, making him one of the number one directors at the company these days. His latest release in my mitts is Gang Bang 5, a movie that provides two gang bangs, one starring Naomi and the other starring Sasha Grey; in hour long scenes along with a trio each of their best scenes for the RLD/PXP universe. Both ladies have their strong points and John seemed to capture them well with the use of Jake and Martin on assisting cameras, making this 5+ hour double disc set a very value oriented one for those who haven't already acquired the bonus scenes. That said, here's a look at all the scenes of the movie, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Naomi, the gal on the front cover wearing the fetish shorts that so nicely displayed her perfect ass, was up first as she teased the camera for awhile by the outside pool and in the house. She has lost weight since this was made but her ass was great here; and showcased in a very pleasing manner with oil, an anal plug, and the usual care that went into the tease. Some anal beads were used too but within moments, more men joined them to fill her ass, pussy, and mouth in numerous combinations with an emphasis on spanking, hair pulling, and DP's. The dynamic was that she went from room to room without being given any chance to catch her breath, demanding the many men fuck her or provide cock service on her three holes. She did some airtight moves too but she picked up quite an entourage of followers as the men chased her throughout the house to get more from her. She was sweaty, seemed into the action, and displayed a lot of passion for her trade as she took them on in droves; always demanding "More" from them. Jake is definitely an acquired taste and those who've watched many of his scenes will know how he tries to emulate Max Hardcore in some ways (while not going quite so far, his routine seems an act to me, used to differentiate his work from the numerous competitors in gonzo). Such was the case here and if you want to see Sasha pushed to her limits, this will serve you well as one of the roughest oral-only scenes I recall ever seeing her in, taking place largely in the restroom of the Red Light District headquarters."

Bonus Scene Five: Smoking Hot: Sasha Grey, looking enticing in her pink slutware outfit that covered about half of her ass, was up next in a scene with studly Russian John Strong after teasing the camera in slow motion. Her arm length purple gloves were interesting but her dubbed commentary about wanting to be treated like shit by someone that would abuse her will likely get any of you misogynists off all by itself. The tease was in slow motion and done outside, with her warming up on a black dildo before blowing Jake on the marble looking porch. They went inside for him to abuse further, with toys, spit, and talk in an effort to push her already extreme limits all the more. Summary: Gang Bang 5 by director John Strong for release by Red Light District was one of the best spotlights either gal has had at this point in their relatively short careers. I wasn't sure what to rate the DVD set since I wanted more unique footage (the bonus scenes were well done but how much can you elevate the score of a release based on older material that consumers likely already have or have seen?) but you can adjust my rating of Recommended accordingly. Naomi and her wonderfully perfect pucker were complimented nicely by Sasha's youthful brilliance, giving fans of hardcore, circus act sex a lot to enjoy.
