Extra's: My favorite extra was the full length audio commentary by Jim Holliday and cute Katie Morgan. Jim was always dominant vocally but Katie proved to be a lot smarter than many give her credit for being, adding in some delightful insights as the two rambled away like a couple of old college buddies. I also liked the 17 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Kenny Carolina (it was the same one from AA but this time credited to Al Dorado) that was shot during the making of this movie, Absolutely Adorable and Witch Coven College. There seemed to be a preoccupation with filming some of the snakes entering the set (the reptile kind, not the human kind), though the ending credits made it sound like they were rattle snakes when that was clearly not the case. There was extra nudity and the kind of playfulness usually found on one of Jim's sets though, so it was worth checking out. There were also some minimal Star Bios, trailers for movies like Little Town Flirts, Eye Candy Refocused, and Aces in the Holes, (though not Floss, Paradise Hole, Sorority Sex Kittens 3, Perfect Smiles, Brown Eyed Blonde, Timeless), a photogallery, a bit on the multiple angles used, and a jump to the scene bit too.

Audio/Video Quality: Charm School Brats: Special Edition was presented in the originally filmed 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures back in June 2003 concurrently with Absolutely Adorable and Witch Coven College. The picture was crystal clear and had a wonderfully diverse cast as seen on the front DVD cover. The fleshtones were accurate thanks in large part to the flat and plentiful lighting, eliminating grain and other visual defects in a manner I wish contemporary companies would at least consider. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English with the vocals very solidly captured and the music still a cut above the pack as far as I was concerned. The music was trademark Jim Holliday style with Reno & the Rumrunners with Jan, Derol, & the Steamrollers on back up duties this time (with the credits adding in the Ghosts of ZZYZX Road Rainwater Band). There was the normal range of music here for those who care but the movie seemed to be more of an after thought or filler in between the other movies made at the same time.

Body of Review: Jim Holliday made a lot of movies for VCA Pictures, many of which I have reviewed in recent weeks as part of an ongoing perspective. Love his style or hate it, Jim was a force in the industry; a force more powerful then he realized given his influence on a generation of fans. Every once in awhile, he made a movie to showcase a particular gal or concept, with today's review of Charm School Brats: Special Edition proving to be no exception. I thought Katie Morgan was the lead here but technically, Shayla was the one playing the spoilt brat in need of refinement in this tale about a school dedicated to improving the demeanor of ladies. The cover said it like this: "When snotty debutantes get out of hand...when snotty movie stars play prima donna...when the spoiled nouveau riche need their dull sheen polished, there is only one solution. Ship them off to the Darwin Joston Charm School where intense classes on class, polish and sophistication await them. Since students always have a keen desire to learn all about sex, and since Jim Holliday movies are always wacky and filled with fun and fluff, you can always count on an oddball janitor or handyman or two lurking around to help the coeds with their lessons. Once again for your further enjoyment of a Holliday movie, there are 10 sex scenes - double your money's worth - including Ava Vincent and Kurt Lockwood in a remarkable backdoor update of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew - so now you highbrow snobs have no excuses." There were no condoms and here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action as best I could figure them out using the commentary as a guide:

Scene One: Temptation, a lean gal with an appealing face but some bad implants, was up first with the massive Lee Stone on a blanket outside. The two showed a lot of chemistry together and this was likely because the two were going out at the time, him being the only guy she worked with (usually doing women only). The oral and vaginal sex was active, ending in a pop shot to her lovely ass.

Scene Two: Violet Blue, the brunette on the lower right hand corner of the cover, was up next in bed with Kurt Lockwood. She blew him with the notion of staying away from the school, concentrating her efforts on the upper portion of his modest dick. This portion of the scene was passive until they went to anal where she seemed more into the action. He did most of the work and she had little chemistry with him, but it served to show her in an okay manner for fans. Scene Three: Katie Morgan, Jessica Darlin, Lana Moore/Cox, and Lee Stone, were up next in the shade of some trees outside. I admit that Jim's comments on folks from the People's Republic of Massachusetts were spot on target, but the onscreen antics of Katie and Lee were scorching hot as she aggressively road him. Jessica and Lana then took over, each getting a hammering good time before he popped off to the "banana" tree as Katie put it.

Scene Four: Taylor Rain, Kelsey, Amber Rain, Honey, Lana Moore/Cox, Temptation, Nautica Thorn, and Kylie Wilde, were up next in a short lesbian themed bit about the classroom. Kelsey was teaching them about poise and demeanor, resulting in a butt tasting contest of sorts. The gals lined up and this being reportedly Kelsey's last movie before retiring, took on special meaning as she rimmed the others while Monica Mayhem watched.

Scene Five: Katie Morgan, dressed in a charming polka dotted outfit, was then up with Kelsey and Steve Hatcher, after the others left the classroom. They all engaged in oral antics, with a moderate amount of rimming, foot play, and cocksucking before the screwing portion of the scene began. In short, Charm School Brats: Special Edition had everything a fan of the legendary director could want, and in copious quantities, with serious replay and stroke value to sweeten the deal.
