Extra's: There were some decent extras offered up this time, including my favorite of the bunch being the 11 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. There was some interview material, additional nudity, and a sense of playfulness amongst the performers and crew that served to establish the movie as full of chemistry. There were four bonus scenes that fans will probably enjoy too, including one from; Scream, Dumb Blonde, The Visitor, and one from Flasher (the first three described below). There was also a short text biography for lovely Sunny Leone, two photogalleries, a second side for the DVD cover that showed four new titles released on DVD (instead of the less explicit version of the primary cover as the company has used for years), some spam (including a front commercial that could be skipped by remote control), and trailers to movies like Dinner Party, Sexy Young Thing, Colors, and Illicit.

Audio/Video Quality: The Female Gardener was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Chuck Lords/Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment (with Ralph Parfait on camera). The lighting was decent and that substantially limited the grain, video noise and other visual flaws (though the fleshtones looked mostly accurate when they weren't overly saturated). The composition of the shots varied more than a little though I would suggest that aside from some extra camera movement, the picture tended to make the ladies look their very best in almost all cases here. The 2.0 Dolby Digital audio track was about average for a low end feature with no separation between the channels but I could hear the vocals well enough to know what they were saying. The music ranged from decent to totally generic but the vocals were the primary aural factor so I wasn't bothered by it in the flick at all, gladly finding that no obvious dubbing was used.

Body of Review: Chuck Lords is the name used by director Paul Thomas whenever he makes a smaller feature for Vivid Entertainment that doesn't quite fit his established persona. In general, such movies tend to be quickly made and not the kind that usually win awards, though a number of them have been pretty solid little fuck flicks from my experience. The latest title by the director is The Female Gardener, a story about interpersonal relationships and jealousy. The back cover said it like this: "Don't fuck around with the hired help. At least not so as to get caught. When Sunny's female lover finds her flirting with the gardener, things get real ugly real fast. Sunny never knew that Roberta could be such a jealous and abusive bitch. Treat someone badly enough and you'll drive her right into someone else's arms. Sunny likes the comfort that Roberta provides but she craves the animal attraction of her Mexican gardener even more. A battle royal of the fairer sex." If this sounds like a nice vehicle to showcase the lovely Sunny Leone to you, that'd be because it was such a flick. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used though the movie favored lesbian sex a whole lot more than average:

Scene One: Sunny Leone, the hotty featured on the front DVD cover, was up first in a lesbian scene with Mikayla after the two argued about jealousy. Mikayla accused Sunny of cheating with the cute new hired help (Daisy) and they made up in the old fashioned way; pouncing on one another in bed after a tender moment of kissing and foreplay. Sunny's tight pink shorts caused a reaction in my shorts but Mikayla's business attire worked in a different way too. My interest for Sunny was augmented by the dynamic of the scene as the quaint music played in the background while the ladies played with one another. I liked the kissing and slow romantic moment they shared before going down on each other a lot, finding it interesting that they'd switch to doing solo work with vibrators mid-scene but thankfully they switched back to working with each other over using the toys too. The later music in the scene didn't work as well for me so your mileage may vary but I sensed a lot of chemistry between the gals with the dirty talk enhancing the heat levels too.

Scene Two: Hillary Scott, Jaclyn Case, Mikayla, April Blossom, Marcos Leon, and Derrick Pierce, were up next in a sort of orgy scene during the pool party outside. Hillary and Jaclyn teamed up on Marcos while Mikayla and April jumped Derrick. There was a lot of oral going on and the penetrative sex seemed to display the ladies all into active riding of cock. There was also a fair amount of lesbian sex taking place as the ladies would play with each other while servicing the men. Hillary's dirty talk and anal ride were the highlights of the movie but each of the ladies seemed to offer a decent bit of action here with the meat puppets providing the kind of pounding that worked best with the gal's aggressive stances. There was a lot of taste testing (PTM and ATM) but the variations were pretty solid (even if Jaclyn seemed in need of more direction). The pop shots were standard with Hillary & Jaclyn getting a heaping load of population pudding from Leon on their faces and April taking Derrick's pop to her chest.

Scene Three: Naomi, Daisy Marie, and Sunny Leone, were up next in the living room as Sunny told her two friends about the way she was treated by lover Mikayla. They were drinking heavily and that led to them all getting frisky (as expected in a porno). Naomi looked leaner than usual but her blue jean shorts fit nicely on her curvy ass with the others looking splendid too. For the most part, the ladies seemed to savor the moment more than a little bit, Daisy moving off by herself to masturbate for much of the scene. The best part was when Sunny put on the strap on dildo to pork Naomi, but I enjoyed the scene as a whole as the ladies appeared to have a lot of enthusiasm for working with each other.

Scene Four: Sunny Leone, looking just as good as in her other scenes, was up last with Daisy Marie in the bedroom. It was a good way to end the flick and while I'd be interested in seeing Sunny take on a guy, she's fine enough that I can wait for her a very long time to provide such scenes (at least as long as her work with women is this good).

Bonus Scene One: Scream: Lexie Marie, the hotty on the front DVD cover, and the sultry Jasmine Byrne, were up next in a cat fight scene where the two went at each other in anger but soon turned it into a pretty solid sex scene. They did oral on one another, spanked each other's pussy, and were soon joined by Alektra Blue, and Marcos Leon. The foursome paired off to let Alektra screw Marcos as passionately as she usually does men while the ladies continued on their own little romp. There were numerous permutations and positions, ending with Jasmine getting a wild anal ride and Marcos rubbing out a load to the faces of the trio of hotties. It was the only scene in the movie that I thought had significant replay value.

Bonus Scene Two: Dumb Blonde: Krystal Steal and Sky Lopez were up next in a lesbian scene taking place on a bench in a wooded area. The action was typical lesbian fare but the ladies seemed to like one another and as a bonus scene, it provided some decent action to enjoy a time or two.

Bonus Scene Three: The Visitor: Stefani Morgan, still masturbating as the scene opened while the natural sunlight poured down on her pretty body still in the black bikini, finally got her chance to shine with Scott Nails. He checked her out and led her to a shaded portion of the house by the back porch on the stairs. Both gave the other some head and she really seemed more into the action this time as they attended the needs of the other. Summary: The Female Gardener by director Chuck Lords/Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment was a title that I felt earned a rating of Recommended. The ladies were appealing, especially Sunny Leone and Hillary Scott, the action was often intense, and the technical values, while not the best the company has to offer, still very pleasing on a regular TV. The extras weren't bad and there seemed to be a lot of Sunny fuck for the buck so give the replay and stroke value of The Female Gardener a gander when it comes your way.
