Extra's: The best extra for most people will be the bonus scene from What An Ass! #3 between Lela Star and Mr. Pete. The couple seemed most infatuated with one another after some brief teasing, leading to a variety of sex acts. It lasted about 25.5 minutes and showed her as an active participant in the scene. Personally, I enjoyed the 22.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature better since the material was related to the movie's scenes and gave the performers, particularly Paulina James, a chance to let fans get to know them better. There was also nudity and some masturbation action to enjoy so that elevated the worth of the feature as well. There were also some trailers, a photogallery, some spam, and a true double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Erotica XXX 13 was presented in the same 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director Tyrone Shuz for distribution by Digital Sin. The lighting was good so the levels of grain and video noise were reasonable, with accurate fleshtones to boot. There were a few times when cast members were washed out by the flat lighting but this didn't happen often. Otherwise, the composition of the shots enhanced the look of the ladies in most cases, making this a decent vehicle for them to shine in when the other factors aligned just right. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise either, marking this as a nice step forward for the series. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English soundtrack wasn't quite as good though. The vocals were soft in some case, the droning thump of the bass too loud at the beginning of the scenes, and the dynamic range limited (with no separation between the channels either).

Body of Review: Tyrone Shuz has been the house director at Digital Sin for some time now; proving to have a bit of style at times as well as a modicum of talent. His latest release in my hands is Erotica XXX 13, a series that I last saw with Erotica XXX #11. The cover said it like this of the vignette driven show: "Do you like pussy? Tits? Ass? Well, if you do, it's your lucky day. Erotica XXX has got it in every which way you want it! Come watch Sammy Cruz's snatch get blundered as Ian Scott goes down under, or experience the best of passion with Erik Everhard and Paulina James. Also, make sure you don't miss Evelyn get domed by Steve Holmes, and check out Manuel Ferrara go on a pussy romping rampage with Miko Sinz and Celina Cross. While much of that was hype, the show itself had a lot of ups and downs (not just the sexual version either) so your mileage may vary from mine but it managed to entertain. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were not used:

Scene One: Paulina James, the hotty on the front DVD cover, was up first wearing a blindfold as she traipsed about the house while masturbating. She was getting all sweaty and heated up, a condition that gave studly Erik Everhard the opportunity to make use of as he rubbed her, orally pleased her, and provided a cock for her to use. Summary: Erotica XXX 13 by director Tyrone Shuz for distribution by Digital Sin was a DVD earning a rating of Rent It; largely due to a few good scenes and a physically attractive cast of ladies. The technical matters were decent and I liked the extras but there were too many times that I wished the gals put more enthusiasm into their work and that weakened the overall rating substantially. In short, if you're a fan of the cast, Erotica XXX 13 might be better for you than if you're a regular guy expecting energetic scenes by performers into the moment but it was worth some stroking to nonetheless.
