Extra's: The best extra was the 23.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It was a combination of photoshoots, interviews, extra sex and nudity with some funny anecdotes to make it worthwhile as entertainment. There was also a photogallery, a popshot compilation from the scenes, and the usual double sided DVD cover (with the second side being a series of covers to other releases by the company).

Audio/Video Quality: Bore My Asshole was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director John Strong for Red Light District. The standard lighting was bright and plentiful, limiting shadows, grain, and video noise as a result. The fleshtones were accurate and the cameras caught the action fairly well; well in line with most gonzo productions of this sort. I prefer the harsh lighting of this style in most cases over the artistic twaddle presented by those who feel it is better to cover up every little flaw, so your mileage may vary considerably regarding the quality of the visuals but the composition of the shots also enhanced the look of the ladies in most cases too so I hope you enjoy it like this. There were no obvious DVD mastering flaws; the limited number of compression artifacts, moiré, and mosquito noise evidence that some care was taken even on the rushed schedule and limited budget the flick was made on. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital but as is usually the case, no separation between the channels was heard and the dynamic range was limited. Still, aside from occasional background noises, the vocals could be heard decently and this is what I expected of it.

Body of Review: John Strong is one of the last regular meat puppet directors at Red Light District these days as most of the others have left for the proverbial greener pastures elsewhere. John has told me a few times that he was happy directing and performing for them but I always get the impression that he'd like to be an owner some day if he can just get away from the paperwork and headaches such a position inevitably requires. His latest title to make it to me as a screener is Bore My Asshole, an anal themed gonzo flick where all the ladies do anal antics for the benefit of the viewer (some even liking it). If you like seeing beautiful gals doing anal, you could do far worse though I'll be up front and tell you that only two of them were really into it (Dana DeArmond and Rebecca Linares) so your mileage may vary from mine. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:
