Extra's: The best extra was the 17.5 minute long Behind the Scenes that was shot by Marco and an uncredited gal (that looked and sounded familiar but there were no close ups of her to make a positive ID, I assume it was Lisa Lee). It consisted largely of the photoshoots but also had some funny moments where the cast and crew were making humorous comments. There was also a photogallery, a fetish menu, trailers to shows like Climaxxx TV, Black Reign, Lex Steele XXX, Silverback Attack, Ironhead, Manhammer, Top Guns, Superwhores, and Nasty Universe, and a second side to the DVD cover full of other covers.

Audio/Video Quality: Culos Gigantes 1 was presented in a 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Marco Banderas/Duato for Mercenary Pictures. The lighting was decent, eliminating the grain and video noise of some of the older works from the company. The composition of the shots was decent and tended to enhance the look of the ladies most of the time; the woman working the camera most of the time was properly credited as Lisa Lee. There were a few bits here and there that needed polishing up but it was well done overall. There were no compression artifacts and any edge enhancement wasn't noticed when I watched the flick. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation between the channels and kind of limited music added in after the fact. The vocals were also a bit unbalanced as there were times when you couldn't hear them well at all and other times when they were as plain as day.

Body of Review: Marco Banderas/Duato has been one of the most reliable studs in porn of late, combining his rugged good looks with his positive and friendly attitude to make most of his scenes even better than they would have otherwise been had a second, third, or fourth tier moper been used in his place. Recently, he has also begun directing, primarily at Mercenary Pictures, though not always. As a new director, he has not shown a propensity to be overly ambitious with the camera tricks, poorly written screenplays (like a guy named Kurt), or trying things he thinks are "new" that have been done to death. As such, I think Marco has shown a lot of restraint and potential to improve, with his latest flick being Culos Gigantes 1 (Spanish for "very large asses' volume 1"). The movie used some terrific casting to make it a substantially solid gonzo offering, the ladies all acknowledged as having bountiful behinds, good looks, and skillful talents. If you're still interested, and you should be, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Ariel Alexus, the attractive and curvy black gal seen on the lower left hand corner of the front cover, was up first as she shook her moneymaker by the bar in a purple fishnet body stocking. Her knob slobbing skills were superior with regard to her appreciation of his pipe and she slide down on his cock actively in several positions. She kept her pink corset on as if too cover up her lengthy birthing scars but they've never bothered me in the past so they weren't going to bug me now. Summary: Culos Gigantes 1 by director Marco Banderas/Duato for Mercenary Pictures was a title that had some rough edges by the replayability, strokability, excellent cast of curvy women, and amount of fuck for the buck amounted to a title well worth a rating of Highly Recommended. Granted, some of the technical matters, including lighting, editing, and camera worm all needed some polishing up but the overall impression I got was that these factors did not detract from the aspects we all enjoy about porn. In short, Culos Gigantes 1 was a winner despite any minor shortcomings considering the main areas most of us enjoy about porn were so well handled. Great Job!
