Extra's: The best extra in the admittedly skimpy batch of them was the 8.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Rigo Corleone. It started out as a series of photoshoots rapidly edited together but then progressed to showing the cast getting ready (largely in the make up chair but not exclusively). There was a photogallery, a true double sided DVD cover, and trailers to movies like Provocateur, Ashton Asylum, McKenzie Illustrated, Sophia Syndrome, McKenzie Made, Deep In Style, Krystal Method and other projects as yet unreleased.

Audio/Video Quality: Rockin' Roxy was presented in a non-anamorphic, letterboxed widescreen with a non-anamorphic aspect ratio of about 1.78:1 as shot by director Laurent Skye/Richard Hamilton for Club Jenna. I still hope future efforts apply anamorphic widescreen HD to their movies but I know that the industry is in transition at this writing so we'll have to see what happens (Vivid has announced releasing some truly high definition titles later this month). The colors looked accurate, the lighting was a mixture of various techniques that sometimes worked better than others, the level of grain typically minimal, and the composition of the shots about the same as Chanel No. 1 having in terms of making the performers look better than usual most of the time. There were no compression artifacts, a bit of video noise, and while I would've liked more of a straightforward approach to the scenes, the movie wasn't too bad looking at all. The only effect that I really didn't like was the great overuse of motion de-hancement; something some of his peers favor too strongly too, and the jumpy editing. The 5.1 Dolby Digital English audio track was kind of basic but the vocals instilled a sense of heat in several of the scenes and the music, offensively loud and obnoxious as ever, wasn't the worst I've heard from the company, this time provided by Walt Jizzney.

Body of Review: Laurent Skye has been making some movies of late for Club Jenna, following a certain pattern that looks made for playing in the background of underground nightclubs more than anything else. The fusion of techno-driven music and rapid editing is appreciated by some and loathed by others (myself included much of the time) but his latest flick, Rockin' Roxy, wasn't as patently offensive as others and served as a nice introduction for Roxy Jezel as a new contract performer for the company. The cover said it like this: "Club Jenna's latest star bursts into her premiere flick with all the hunger of a cat in heat. Join this Asian pixie and her partners in corruption for an all new film featuring some of the messiest sex you've ever swallowed! Fresh from her blazing hot win on Jenna's American Sex Star, British sensation Roxy Jezel pops her Club Jenna cherry in style. Hang onto your helmet as Roxy proves her recklessness on a racy motorcycle ride with Tommy Gunn, then speeds off to take Mario Rossi for a whirl that explodes in a drippy facial - call out the clean up crew for this one! And are you ready for some girl-on-girl action? Roxy is! Her interoffice tryst with sweetheart Sammie Rhodes becomes a lesson in putting her money where her mouth is. But it doesn't end there... I think Roxy is foxy so I was pleased to take a look at the movie, finding the special visual effects to detract from her appeal but the appeal was still there. If you're still interested, here's a breakdown of the scenes, noting that no condoms were used that I could see:

Scene One: Roxy Jezel, the fine looking honey on the front cover, was up first in a scene with stud of the year Tommy Gunn, on a pimped out motorcycle in front of a graffiti covered wall. The colors were saturated and the thumpy music was a chore but the bottom line was that she proved to be extremely aggressive as she slobbed his knob; making it a nice opener of a scene to start the show. The scene was partially shot in a semi-POV manner so she continually eyed the camera, her oral turning into him boning her on the bike as she moaned out loud. They screwed in several positions, amazingly maintaining their balance on the bike while doing so, ending the scene by dropping a load on her face. It wasn't her best scene of late but it did serve as a nice warm up.

Scene Two: Eva Angelina, a curvy hotty with newly dyed hair (making it red), was up next wearing a neon pink outfit on a sterile looking high tech set with third tier mope squad member Justice Young. After a very short tease, they started kissing and otherwise feeling each other up, leading to her dropping to her knees to give him a fantastically active hummer. She focused solely on giving him pleasure and moaned a lot while doing so, elevating the heat substantially, keeping eye contact with him in the process. He then banged away at her on the metal table in a few positions, the gal crying out in pleasure as he drilled her to the best of his abilities, stretching her pussy in the process. There appeared to be two cameras used for the scene using different settings but the main one was okay at showing her aggressively blowing Mario while he played with her body. The good news here was that she proved to be far more active at riding his cock, using more dirty talk too as she impaled herself soundly on his rod as well. He only tapped her pussy for a few positions before he was coated in sweat and reverted to doing some oral on her (tonguing her ass before fingering her pussy), with her blowing him to completion all over her face and into her mouth. It was a better scene and the tempo seemed to be increasing with each scene, providing some okay stroke value.

Scene Four: Cindy Crawford, the former contract blonde dressed in sexy black lingerie, was up next after her own montage with Jerry. The set they were on was a science fiction/laboratory styled set that had nothing to do with anything, the gal blowing him aggressively as she fell to her knees while jerking him off. Cindy has been growing on me of late and her oral was another reason to like her work, her moderately active vaginal ride giving way to a fairly passive anal romp. It ended when Jerry rubbed out a load to her face, proving to be moderately warm at times but far from her best work of late outside of the oral.

Scene Five: Sammie Rhodes, a lean blonde wearing a matching pink bikini with micromini skirt like her gal pal Roxy Jezel, was up in a lesbian scene where the two appeared to have just struck it rich in a bank vault in a minimalist office setting. They provided some rough sex as they sucked titty and ate clam, providing some of the most observable chemistry of the movie in the process. Each gave and received nicely, with the toy use limited to a single small vibrator as they kissed to completion.

Scene Six: Kinzie Kenner, a super cute gal that I have not seen much of lately (my loss too), was up last in an apartment setting with Jerry. Her skimpy pink outfit really enhanced her looks a lot and while there was some oral by both of them, her active riding style was better than her knob slobbing fun this time. She bounced on cock as if getting off, Jerry working himself deep inside of her as her ass cheeks rippled while she screamed out. The dirty talk elevated the heat of the scene too and she really provided a nice closing sequence with some oral and a mouth pop. Yum!

Summary: Rockin' Roxy by director Laurent Skye for Club Jenna might not have been the watershed opener to a contract for the lovely Roxy Jezel but her fans should consider it a must have given how much she was in the movie and extras. The heat and strokability were not really working for me as much as they should have given the excellent cast but while I thought it earned a rating of Rent It, Rockin' Roxy will appeal to those who have enjoyed the director's other movies that used this style so your mileage may vary. Check it out and you'll know exactly what I mean, but Roxy certainly brings a lot to Club Jenna and I hope to see a lot more of her in the future.
