Audio/Video Quality: Amateur POV 2 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color the scenes were shot in by director Cezar Capone for release by Red Light District. As an amateur movie, it was not supposed to have properly lighting and that's good because most of the scenes appeared to be shot using a home camera with ambient light, the kind of style amateurs have been doing for decades now (even I got my first video camera over twenty years ago so I know how it goes). All of the scenes this time were shot in the point of view (POV) fashion, keeping the look of the guys to a minimum, probably a good idea if you've seen them in the past. There was a fair amount of grain, mosquito noise, and minor artifacts but it was all in keeping with the general theme about couples that weren't in porn having fun in a spontaneous manner. The fleshtones were off a little too but I don't think most people will pick this one up based on the technical matters if past experience is a good guide. The audio was presented encoded in 2.0 Dolby Digital but I was sure that the vocals were captured by the built in microphone on the camera and while you could hear background noises if you paid attention, the cheese level was to be expected.

Body of Review: Cezar Capone is now directing for several companies to hear the comments made by industry insiders with Red Light District being one of them. He started off as one of the driving forces at Bang Bros, formerly an internet website that grew into a porn producer many appreciate, now branching out for his own gain at RLD's Amateur District side company. His latest credited title for them is Amateur POV 2, a title much like Amateur POV 1, where he shoots porn scenes featuring women that haven't been in hundreds of movies using a handful of third tier meat puppets. This time, the names of the ladies were definitely more known as they have been gracing fuck flicks all over the place but still managing to exude a newcomer mentality. Here's a quick look at the scenes noting that no condoms were used and all of the scenes were shot in POV:

Still, fans of gals that haven't made a whole lot of mainstream porn titles will find them a marked change from the scores of glamorous ladies populating the profession so I compromised and rated this as a Rent It. In short, Amateur POV 2 was much like Amateur POV 1 except that the women were more recognizable, catering to the girl next door look rather than looking for women that you'd never bone without some serious cash.
