Audio/Video Quality: The Voyeur 33 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director John Leslie for distribution by Evil Angel. As noted previously, John has long since surpassed the desire to show crystal clear visuals, preferring to focus his efforts on the kind of raw energy and rougher edged look that most of his peers only seem to fall into by mistake, though I'll be the first to admit I'd like his movies to revert back to a more traditional & well lit approach if at all possible. The levels of grain, video noise, and even pattern effects were okay this time and the action lost nothing due to minor flaws on the technical side (the movie was still hot). The composition of the camera angles showed some care put into them, making the ladies virtually always look their best, and this is the strength of John's directorial ability more than anything else (as a producer, he also tends to make fine selections of cast). The 2.0 Dolby Digital audio track was as basic as gonzo porn came be, with limited talking going on outside of John's own directions in the background. The cast could be heard moaning & groaning but this was definitely a limited selection based on audio quality.

Body of Review: Evil Angel has seen a lot of new directors come their way of late and the new blood has certainly reinvigorated their movies but some of their long standing guys are still quite capable of showing they have what it takes too, including John Leslie; a veritable legend in the industry that has been around longer than even many of the men have been alive. His latest fuck flick is The Voyeur 33: Milk and ASShoney, the sequel to The Voyeur 32 I reviewed last year. The emphasis on the series has long been that of a peeping Tom type of character that watches the performers as they screw, hence the "Voyeur" part of the title. The only trouble I had with this volume of the series was that while it was obviously shot from a voyeuristic angle, the previously established character and hidden from view action seemed to be discarded in favor of a straight forward movie, making it far more generic in the process. Still, with a cast of ladies as solid as this one had, I was sure that it would be causing fans to pound their puds for days on end. If you're still interested, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Lexi Love, the cutie seen on the front cover (third down on the right hand side as well as upper middle), was up first with busty Holly Morgan (the blonde showcased on the lower middle of the front cover), and Michael Stefano. Holly walked in on the other two wearing her red dress that hugged her curves nicely as Lexi inhaled Michael's meat pipe with the kind of aggressive energy I love to see. Holly put on a tease show while the couple was going at it, the camera amateurishly trying to catch as much of her act as possible. Summary: The Voyeur 33 by director John Leslie for distribution by Evil Angel was worth a rating of Recommended for the levels of fuck for the buck it contained. There may have been some thematic corners cut and a few of the scenes were superior in almost every way but the appeal of the movie was largely driven by the solid way the women seemed to like doing what, and whom, they were doing. In short, The Voyeur 33: Milk and ASShoney had a few new tricks as it discarded some of the old series staples, making it almost as good as The Voyeur 32. Far from his very best work, this still resulted in material that will work for most gonzo fans, proving John can still dish it out with the newcomers at the company.
