Extra's: The best two extras were the bonus blowjob scenes given in POV style. Audio/Video Quality: Bet Your Ass 5 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jonni Darkko for Evil Angel. The bitrate hovered on the lower end of the scale much of the time, typically in the lower 4 Mbps range though jumping around a fair bit too. The lighting was often flat and relatively solid, reducing the amount of grain, video noise, and other flaws directly related to the technical aspect. The composition was not always favorable to the ladies but the editing seemed to enhance the look of the show more than a little bit, perhaps showing more care than the audio where the droning 2.0 Dolby Digital English track (at a 192 Kbps) was obnoxious and thumping; reminding me why so many consumers simply turn off the sound these days. The good news was that the music was turned down a lot during the majority of the sex so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko is one of the guys that adds a unique vision to his porn now that he's working for Evil Angel, unlike some of the cookie cutter titles he offered elsewhere before the move. These days, he shows his style in numerous little ways rather than beating folks over the head with over processed attempts to emulate music videos with the sole problem I have (in general) being his reliance on thumping club type music. His latest DVD is Bet Your Ass 5, the sequel to Bet Your Ass 4, where the ladies all engage in anal sex with partners of varying quality. Some of them are notable champions of backdoor boning and others are up and comers but the end result is that there was a decent mix of ladies for fans to enjoy. If that sounds interesting to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

The six scenes provided some diversity of action and body type but ultimately it was the entire package that seemed to work best for me as the couples enjoyed some hardcore antics together. In short, Bet Your Ass 5, like Bet Your Ass 4, was not Jonni's strongest work to date but it had the kind of strokability, replay value, and heat that even caused an executive from another company to take notice of in our forums recently.
